Are there indications these will rise again?
For some reason I bought when the share price was at 26 pence but somehow i paid 24 pence per share. Good time to buy.
instant profit...why so?
Instant profit...
Reminder for anyone new looking in. AGP has delivered in a big way this last year 3 special dividends. 1/ May 2016 17p 2/ March 2017 23p And from just his MAY a monster £1.06 special Dividend after a reorganise. It will still have a decent NAV Value per share which will be due to rented/rental and for sale large properties in China also a decent cash pile £400M ish ? which will be re-communicated ( Figuratively ) once the dust here has settled. Read through a few backdated postings below to get the full story.. Well done any holders who were in early Bravo to you.. Best luck all.. http://www.asiangrowth.com/html/eng/index.asp ( Company website hopefully allowed to link )
thanks INFINITYT, payment appeared in my account this morning, just a wait and see what happens with the NAV > SP !
Hi Dude I think ? the completion date was Today 16th so check in the morning or it may take a few days to show up. Someone on here I presume will pipe up when all received Best Luck..jonrolf..
does anyone have any info / comment on the now overdue dividend payment ?
Is it today or tomorrow?
Whats with the sudden dip in price...hopefully this will be a good investment in the long term
When the new Figures are released and the new NAV published we may see a rise ? Ref the spread it is not quite as quoted above with the small number of trades the last few buy to sell have been nearer to a 5% spread. For Information ? the Norwich and Peterborough building society share dealing web page enter ticker AGP the trades show up in real time if interested.. Best Luck all..
wonder when this will start going up again after the dividend was paid
Yep the low liquidity is probably the main cause. Hopefully when all the SEA shareholders get AGP script as part of the restructure this will improve the liquidity and result in a more sensible spread. The company will, from memory go from 2% not held by the main shareholder up to about 23%. If these new shareholders have an equal trading tendency as existing AGP shareholders liquidity should go up 10x. The short-term downside is that some new SEA shareholders may wish to exist their new AGP holding creating some selling pressure.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Yes it will be paid into your share account.. Best Luck.
Is the special dividend actually being paid as cash??
Yep loose ends to tie up. Ask and Bid is 30/40 so 20p to 50p is only a few buys/sells away. I think close to 50p NAV with just the cash pile but will await the new figures.. Best luck all..
Is this a delay in payment of Dividend? Ex-Dividend date has gone so it looks more of an issue of sorting the loose ends 20p - 50p is a big fluctuate NAV is circa 52p (current exchange) from last figures but we will need updated ones in due course to fully understand this - still think we have circa 20p+ per share in cash
Usually quite a big spread with this share as not to much action with today being XD day it was a busier one. At a guess it will fluctuate between 20p and 50p until the reorganization is tied up and the new numbers are released ? But you never know more to the upper I think.. Best Luck..
Share price is likely to go up, as the company has a strong financial sheet, low debt and big profit.
Selling High Before the X day and buying as Low on the X day will bring you a bigger value than the dividend. I usually do this and it works better for me. I just can't wait for the dividend cash to reinvest,as the share price can become expensive by the time these div funds are available to invest. Mr INFINITY, great posts sir.
Any idea if the share price will go up or down in the next few days? Please help
Most welcome and good luck.
Infinity thanks mate for the feedback
No. XD date today so yesterday was the last buy date to get the Dividend. Best Luck.
