Has anyone in the UK got views about on the latest development?
That's true. I was looking back just 5 years, but I see that it briefly touched this level back in 2012. Anyway, looks interesting, but unnoticed here.
No 'new highs' unless you're taking them from a certain time; they haven't got back to where they were years ago if you're a LTH.
It is quietly making new highs.

Through its engineering skills and ability to innovate, Amiad provides cost-effective "green" solutions for the industrial, municipal, irrigation, oil & gas and ballast water markets. In these segments its patented products are being integrated into the core of systems for filtration and water treatment, micro irrigation and membrane protection, wastewater and potable water treatment, cooling systems and sea water filtration. Headquartered in Israel, Amiad provides these solutions through nine subsidiaries and a comprehensive network of 170 distributors to customers in more than 80 countries. For additional information or product details, please visit www.amiad.com About Mekorot Mekorot - Israel's National Water Company - has been providing solutions and regular, reliable, high-quality water to Israel's water industry for 75 years. Its water supply system comprises 3,000 facilities throughout the country, integrates most of the regional water plants and combines water from various sources: the Sea of Galilee, Mountain Aquifers and Coastal Aquifers, as well as drillings and desalinated sea and brackish water. Mekorot is a unique company worldwide due to its variety of operations: water supply to all sectors, to the Palestinian Authority and the Jordanian Kingdom; production and integration of water from multiple sources in the national system; water security; constant water quality improvement - the Central Filtration Plant - the fourth largest in the world - positions Israel at the forefront of water treatment in the western world; wastewater treatment and water reclamation of about 60% of Israel's treated wastewater; desalination of brackish and sea water through 32 facilities; storm water catchment; and rain enhancement.
Shimon Ben Hamo, Mekorot's CEO, commented: "For 75 years, 'Mekorot', Israel's National Water Company, has been developing Israel's water economy and integrating advanced technologies for seawater and brackish water desalination in its activities. The desalination facility in Ashdod is an additional link in the long chain of accomplishments in providing high-quality water with the utmost reliability at all times and under all conditions. The integration of filtration systems at the facility coincides with the company's policy of technological development." Amiad will provide a solution comprising of its polymer-based Arkal Super Galaxy automatic self-cleaning disc filters. The system will have a filtration degree of 100 micron and will be required to withstand a flow rate of 40,000 cubic metres per hour. Amiad will begin supplying the units from October 2012, with installation due to occur in March 2013. Arik Dayan, CEO of Amiad, said: "We are very proud that Amiad has been chosen to participate in this significant project in Israel. It provides further evidence of our industry-leading position as well as the strength of our enlarged offering, which now includes UF membrane protection for desalination. We look forward to working with IVM Minrav Sadyt and Mekorot in bringing this important development to fruition."
Amiad wins $1.67 million contract for significant Israeli desalination project Ultra-filtration membrane protection to Mekorot's Ashdod Desalination Plant Amiad, a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract, valued at $1.67m, to provide an Arkal Super Galaxy automatic disc filtration system (SpinKlin R) for the protection of ultra-filtration ("UF") membranes at the Mekorot Group's Ashdod Desalination Plant (the "Plant"), which will be one of the largest such facilities in Israel. The contract was awarded by IVM Minrav Sadyt: a consortium including Minrav Holdings Ltd, an Israeli infrastructure company, and SADYT, a Spanish construction business. Mekorot Development Enterprise Ltd, a subsidiary of Mekorot, Israel's national water company, will plan, build and operate the Plant. The Ashdod Desalination Plant, which is due to commence operation in early 2013, will produce 100 million cubic metres of water per year, accounting for approximately 15% of Israeli domestic water consumption. It will be the fourth reverse osmosis desalination plant to be built along Israel's Mediterranean coast, which, in addition to a further plant due to become operational in 2013, will have a combined annual output of 540 million cubic metres of water. Mekorot is also constructing a new National Water Carrier of Israel, which will receive water from all of the desalination plants. This will enhance the existing system, which delivers water from the Sea of Galilee in the north of the country to the highly populated centre and arid south, by enabling water to be transported in all directions, which will improve the efficiency of Israel's water use and regulation of supply.
CONT Business progress Amiad maintained strong momentum in the second half of 2011, building on the successes achieved in the first six months of the year. The Company performed well in all markets, with sales in the irrigation segment increasing globally, especially in the United States. In the industrial and municipal segments, sales were especially strong in China, East Europe, Australia, South East Asia and Turkey. This includes a $2.85m agreement, announced on 19 December 2011, for the provision of the next stage of a water filtration project with one of South Korea's largest steel factories, which is to be delivered in 2012. In addition, Amiad made progress in the ballast water market in the United States. In India, production continued to increase at Amiad's subsidiary following the completion of the product assembly line in late 2010. This reflects Amiad's strategy to, where possible, transfer production to local sites to improve efficiency, reduce time-to-market and save costs. Similarly, Amiad established Amiad Sistemas de Agua LTDA, in September 2011, as a wholly-owned subsidiary to enhance the sale and marketing of the Company's products and solutions in Brazil, where there is increasing interest and investment in water infrastructure projects. Amiad has already begun to benefit from this, with good progress expected to be made in 2012.
Trading Update Amiad, a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, provides the following trading update for the year ended 31 December 2011 ahead of the Company's full year results, which will be announced in April 2012. The Company continued to make significant progress in all segments throughout the year as the integration of Arkal Filtration Systems' ("Arkal") business with Amiad was completed. As a result, Amiad expects to report approximately 30% growth in annual revenue to $116m (2010: $89.4m) in line with market expectations, with gross margins remaining consistent with the first half of 2011. Looking ahead, the Company entered 2012 with a substantially higher backlog than at the corresponding period in 2011 and expects to deliver further growth in the business. Rebranding the Company and expanded product offering Amiad adopted Amiad Water Systems Ltd as its new company name to reflect the development and expansion of its product offering following the acquisition of Arkal in 2010. Based on distinct, but synergistic and complementary technologies, Amiad now operates under three brands - 'Amiad', 'Arkal (by Amiad)' and 'Filtomat (by Amiad)' - providing a wider range of products based on innovative solutions that can form the core of any water filtration or treatment system worldwide. In November 2011, Amiad launched eight new products under its three brands. The new products, which represent a major expansion of Amiad's offering, have applications across the Company's range of sectors, and include two that are designed specifically for its new target segments of oil & gas and ballast water. The new products will start to be delivered in 2012 and are already receiving significant interest.

Arik Dayan, CEO of Amiad Water Systems, said: "We are pleased to be continuing to provide innovative solutions to the Korean industrial sector, something we have been doing since 1993, and to be strengthening our position in the provision of reverse osmosis membrane protection - one of our key growth areas. We were chosen because our solution is economical and our filtration systems do not use chemicals, which removes the risk of them being discharged back into the environment. We look forward to working closely with our customer to provide an end-to-end solution from initial comprehensive consultation to successfully implementing this project." The solution to be integrated within this stage of the project is a unique filtering technology using microfibres, which enables Amiad to offer finer filtration that meets the standards set by membrane manufacturers; the standard for drinking water, such as the British DWI; and standards for tertiary treatment of wastewater. The technologies provided by Amiad Water Systems offer a clean filtration solution for all water sources, while ensuring savings in energy and space, and a limited use of rinse water and need for maintenance.
Amiad awarded $2.85m project in Korean steel industry Amiad, a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that it has entered into an agreement for the next stage of a water filtration project with one of South Korea's largest steel factories. This new agreement is worth $2.85m, and is expected to be implemented in 2012. This agreement follows the successful completion of the initial two phases of the project, valued at approximately $3m, that were carried out between 2007 and 2011. As part of the project, Amiad will install its innovative, microfibre filtration system in order to treat wastewater and protect the factory's reverse osmosis membranes. Reverse osmosis involves water being filtered by passing through membranes under high pressure. Traditional methods use a large amount of chemicals and energy to pre-treat the water to remove dirt and other impurities, which are harmful to the reverse osmosis membranes. Amiad's microfibre filtration process, however, is chemical- and polymer-free, and designed to provide continuous performance even under difficult water and weather conditions.
