'they were an r&d company. Ever bought an incomplete product?'
Correct Muscorum.
I once worked for a company building big marine diesels. A new revolutionary lightweight engine was developed backed up by a boilerplate contract with the MOD for warship propulsion. While near the end of development of this engine and some problems not yet satisfactory resolved andwith three development and research engines still running, the company was bought out by a big conglomerate. Research budget was cut from 5% down to 2%. Within months the new sales department were selling the engine around the world to get back some of the money spent in buying the company.
|The unresolved problems now reared their ugly head and spares started to be flown around the world, some weighing tons. The MOD contract slowed down as machine shops couldn't cope with the increased demand and some engines failed.. The new owners had to increase the price of new engines to stop ship owners ordering them. After 10 years of development and less than a year in production, production stopped. The MOD re-engined their ships. Cost to the company - many millions. The company was again sold off - a very low price. Struggled for a few years - now no more.
That product was incomplete!
Beware the money men, WHO KNOW IT ALL!!!
classic Sandy_Rivers, just classic !
Your deramping is done - see you again next time - I await seeing a huge late reported trade later
Southerhay, the only calc you need is AB + Hydrogen = Zero :-)
Sandy_Rivers - please show us your calcs - am sure AFC would also love to see your findings and will change their course after all their research and market analysis based on your back of a fag packet calcs
To be honest, the shear enormity of the electrical loads EV will place on the network boggles the mind. The last job I did as an engineer was a hotel with 900kva three phase supply. 307 bedroom hotel and the supply was approximately 750kw approx 1300amp. There was also a CHP unit but I can’t remember the size.
And car chargers are some 350kw! The grid doesn’t have a hope....
Seems to be a few bashers knocking around today - hopefully we wont need to listen to their boring repetitive drivel for too much longer. Good luck to all genuine holders.
Yep your correct muscorum I should have invested last autumn, you never know I might get another roll of the dice .We have been up to 60p and back to 3p before ,maybe before your time.
Some investors questions defy obvious logic to the point where they must be deramping. Openeyes, you you must have your eyes wide shut.
Openeyes ....You should have piled in when we were at 3p ......
Yep I agree should have invested in ceres years ago would have had a 10 bagger by now.
They must be the one of the longest rd companies around, I'll be drawing my pension before long.??
Well Said Open. Although EV charger is obviously going to be trendy in the current environment, I'm still unconvinced it is economically viable vs other renewable/nonrenewable sources having done some calcs myself and read others commentary. Especially with many not taking the electric car plunge yet and probably not for some time still.
On a charting basis those who will follow buy sell signals, short term trend has been broken this morning on the 15m and daily sell signals showing too.
His brain!!!
As someone that's been invested here for coming on for 10 years its quite baffling why nobody has ever brought our products ,if the product, technology is so market disruptive why hasn't there ever been any large scale orders placed from anyone?? People can say this or that come up with various takes on different things but when push comes to shove we haven't really sold anything or signed any significant contracts that are bringing in large revenues in well over 10 years.
