Damn…Bob Dylan…bl**dy Merlot!
Bob Dolan was a Travelling Wilbury.
bob Dylan what a dude.
Today's bloodbath has nothing to do with the the company. Today the world is in panic mode due to new Corona variants. I choose to stay calm and don't get sucked into this panic. Yes it's a bumpy ride through these peaks and valleys but stay calm and stay safe.
wow..what a day, time to reflect on what you have, rather than what you dont have but would like to have ,like most peeps on here hoping for big things over the next few years, looks like timelines are slipping which is to be excpected with a new tech....Long and strong GLA LTH.
Vol Sold 3,668,641
Vol Bought 2,658,419
Only good if it goes up ,,,,,there seem to be a lot that don't think so.
Got paid on Wednesday, so topped up with 600 shares when it went below 50p briefly today. Now holding 8479 shares (average at 57p)
LT holder, infrequent poster. Bulletin boards don’t move stocks, macro trends move stocks. 58p is the ABB entry point and floor for this stock. Anything below is a buy. Covid market shake today, deploy cash.
Just re read the question and I dont think im a silent supporter! My mistake.
I got into AFC at the IPO so 15 ish years ago. The only reason I started to post was due to Beaufort being shut down - hence my profile name. So held for maybe 11 yrs before my first post - I'm not checking on the dates.
Im one off the 100 and ive added again this morning. Long and strong me. Never sold a share.
I’m one of the 100 Have been invested here for about two years Have 220k shares now and not parting with any of them I did my own research and accept the risk involved All news recently has been positive and things are moving IMO in the right direction I read comments on the board but don’t post as it can be again IMO often quite aggressive I am there are many like me out there who feel the same
I spent several years reading here before even opening an account and posting. Not everyone is interested in being involved in internet discussions, and for some people it can be detrimental to their mental health and probably how they decide to trade their holdings!
As the markets are made and run by humans, they are subject to the same emotional swings that we encounter on here and in the wider world or an a personal level. In my opinion, the outlook in the general market AFC are categorised in, is extremely positive. Being a relatively new market based on future potential, there is plenty of speculation going around. With the right news and if AB steers this in the way he has suggested he is doing, we should see AFC compete with some of the other well known larger players in this market.
Crossing fingers for a positive EOY, though I'm not making any personal targets for the SP with any amount of news, the world is wild place at the minute, and pretty unpredictable!
All the best!
Indeed! Fascinating stuff
It is very interesting, Nickjhe. Given how vehemently the negative voices deny the suggestion that sentiment on a bulletin board can affect a share price (in which case why do they constantly post?), it makes you wonder what would happen if everyone broke their silence and created a far more positive board. Perhaps this thread/experiment will encourage many people to do this.
This is such an interesting thread. The next question in my mind is, why do the silent positive majority not get more involved in discussions and sharing opinions?
Could be the board environment? Could just be that their purpose is more about gaining insights and opinions than others rather than being here to share? Or lots of other potential reasons?
103 recommendations now so there does seem to be a disconnect between the negative tone of the board and the more supportive view of the silent majority. Perhaps it just shows that a lot of people have AFC on their radar and that they are waiting to press the buy button when the right news drops. AB must realise that all eyes are on his H2 expectations so let's see how the next few weeks pan out.
Come on, 99 rec’s made…who’s gonna be the 100 poster to rec?
Number the difference is Haggis makes some excellent posts. The other guy does not.
Already at 74 recommendations, despite the massive treeshake this morning. This would appear to support the theory that the company has a lot more supporters than the tone of this board would suggest. Let's hope that the SP starts to reflect this soon!
The 20 people post has disappeared!
It's not that "I silently believe" it more that I silently HOPE AFC has a bright future. Unfortunately the S.P. does not reflect that hope.
What's more interesting is the speed at which this positive thread gets buried.....
What's more interesting is if Haggis did the same.
