To be far to AFC they are highly skilful of making people believe that big things are coming soon. They have made investors feel like the next big thing is just weeks away for years.
I think its clear to see why Bond left now, he knew he had one last big promise left in him and they all knew that after this he needed to go so people left could pass the buck.
I don’t know what 120 staff does ???!!!! They don’t ship out units, mass production is not happening , lots of quality staff , what the he’ll is different to when they had 40 staff ? What are they doing the whole day ? 120 is a full production manpower at factories having 20-40 million turnover
I'd also like to know what they do all day! And I deserve to know as I've helped pay their wages. :)
Says you……AIM was one of the company’s most fervent acolytes until he dared say something that didn’t support the jam tomorrow line and was then outed as a heretic…..I know, I crossed swords many a time over his overly positive stance (when is a loss a loss, etc). So I font think that the Melvin line carries ant credence ……..
Wikipedia lists AFC energy as having 120+ employees.
I always wonder these days, just what do these people do? Man the production line? Build new products? Close new sales deals? Transport new fuel cells to willing customers?
Or paint their nails? Decide which pub they're going to? Or whose turn it is to do the coffee run at Starbucks?
Anyone? Just what the hell do they do all day?
We’ve had
Wait til COP22
Wait til COP23
Wait til COP24
Wait til the red diesel subsidy is removed
I think we all just need to wait wait wait and more patience patience patience in this start up.
Could u tell me lotto numbers aswell pls? PN pls, thank you
Afc was grossly over valued at 15p clearly.
What I expect they'll do now is limp along until new CEO starts then there will be a series of bored changes and in all the waiting and turbulence and of course missed revenue targets price will fall to around 4p.
There will be dead cat bounces on the way down of course but then price will settle around 4p until either afc energy actually ramp up sales to justify having a higher market cap of they need another placing in which case it will be a disaster for holders.
Watching and waiting to see what direction it goes in from 4p. No point getting involved yet as no technical or fundamental buy signal
Aimillionaire. Now posts as MelvinAFC.
Afc can't be sat on material news and just choosing when to release it I'm afraid. The market doesn't work like that
Jgbb: "I’ve been saying for weeks now that the major news won’t be released until after the budget and the US election"
Dino Saw is quite right. The rules of listing on the LSE say companies have to release price sensitive information as son as it is available.
Was it the millionaire guy?.
I hope they're having good chats with Toyota who're going into Hydrogen big time.
Who was that poster that used to write 'LOVE ADAM BOND'....
The reason this is falling, is because there should be 4M worth of business from Speedy on the 1st of November, but at the moment it looks like they will not archive this.
Unless the budget announces they are banning Hydrogen products, nothing they say will have any bearing on AFC
I'm afraid I don't agree at all. The budget may have some developments of interest but none that could have a bearing on why it appears (we simply don't know but he share price is probably telling us) that nothing bar the Acciona trial unit has gone out of the door. it just can't be the case that things have happened but they're not announcing them until a budget has been announced; why would the NOMAD do that?
See how the USA election or the budget will effect anything to do with AFC.
I love this paid de ramper line!
In what world would AFC need someone to try to bring the SP down!! Haha
No sales. Broken promises, CEO leaving, fundraisers. Here's some money to get that SP Lower mr deramper!
Where do I sign up
I amazed at all the people saying AFC is waiting to release good news after the budget…,sorry but you are delusional - if there were any good news they would announce it… you are just giving excuse after excuse for this company that has not delivered and live in hope your investment will come good…. 12 years someone said they’ve been invested here…OMG 12 years you will never get back… 12 years of other missed opportunities what are you waiting for… one day Rodney… and all the links people post about other companies investing in green thinking it’s good for AFC… rose tinted I am afraid - only news about sales will get this share price moving no amount of links to green projects or other countries investing in hydrogen will help…. You need sales, sales, sales - good luck holding out in the hope I hope it comes off ….
Reality chap,
Thank you for your response and great to read we are both in agreement about the significance of the budget.
You are 100% correct in pointing out that the budget could have a negative influence in our business and in investor confidence, it could also bring us benefit but in reality we just don’t know.
So to that end, I’m glad we agree it would be unwise for AFC to announce any news until we find out exactly what is in store for AFC, the financial markets, government subsidies and the effect on Shareholders.
Definitely an important event and we both agree no one in their right mind would release news until we know exactly what is happening.
Thank you again for agreeing with me and supporting my point about the importance this budget has on investors.
Well done chap

Ahhh the “we’re experience resistance” routine lololololol
Quick everyone join forces and use the deluded, naive, living under a cloud tactics hahaha no one will notice and we will look credible.
To be fair, that might actually have worked on new nervous investors if we hadn’t seen it a million times over the years.
It’s so funny to watch the same old same old over and over again. Undermine the company, call anyone who is patient niave and gullible.
For anyone unaware of the tactics, next they will put up a list calling it things that never happened even although more just weren’t comparable and several are still ongoing.
Come on numpty heads bring it on. You make me laugh and I love playing with you because it’s so easy. You do most of the humiliation to yourselves.
Bada bing lol
Who is it that pays de-rampers and how can I get in touch with them? It's an absolutely bonkers theory; just a short step away from tinfoil hat territory. if you really think that's what I'm doing, jgbb, please point to such a post.
You are clutching at very thin straws with this budget obsession. Presumably you are thinking there may be material subsidies for products such as ours? Any basis for that or just wishful thinking? It seems much more likely to me that there will be moves made re infrastructure and there's a very real possibility that such developments may actually damage our business, as our model owes something to the deficiencies in the grid that make mobile hydrogen generated power attractive.
Try having a debate rather than just being paranoid about every point of view that doesn't agree with yours.
The budget will increase taxes on investing and any government funding will be directed towards wind and other silly ideas.
To all of the delusionists out there. The AFC fuel cell has insufficient charge density to provide the motive power for the Nifty lift on its own. It can only work as a trickle charger, which means that there will still be the requirement for battery storage on the unit. The AFC fuel cell will never be integrated into the lift per se, but may possibly be used as some kind of trickle charger. If this is the case, then happy days, we have made some inroads but to suggest that the AFc unit will actually power the thing directly is the land of fantasy, just the same as using a fuel cell to offer massive instantaneous charge for car charging using the mythjcal ABB unit......
