Thanks. As miners go at the Aex stage, it’s a persuasive situation on all considerations. And though their interest has started with strategic minerals rather than gold, those behind the recent JV will probably underwrite any future funding requirements.

Thanks. But positive news of progress towards their target of getting first gold production at Nalanuq by the end of this year, to underpin the continued gold and increasingly focused strategic minerals exploration, is I think what will ultimately show marked improvement in the share price.

29th. April 2021.
“The preliminary target is for initial production from Nalunaq to commence by the end of 2022.”
The strategy is clear.
AEX Gold's strategy remains to bring the Nalunaq gold project back into production and use that base as a platform to discover and develop other world class gold and strategic mineral assets both directly and through partnerships to be found in the under explored OECD jurisdiction that is Greenland.
Presumably in your view AEX are lacking alacrity in execution. Discuss.
Right, so one is not allowed to voice an opinion? This is a discussion board, quit with the sarcy comments and discuss.
The first pour was meant to be in January 2021 (which understandably was delayed due to Covid restrictions). We are now almost 18 months later and first pour isn't even discussed as far as I can see.
Perhaps you could slip over and tell them how they could better go about the business. Ten minutes should do it.
I know things are still difficult in the wider world and the exploration scope and results is commendable but surely it is time to get the mine up and running to generate some revenue even if just in a limited way. We can't just keep burning the cash balance.

Short summary given by lse
AEX Gold have discovered massive copper and gold deposits plus RareEarths/Graphite in Greenland
17th May 2022 Share Views Runtime 12:58
Each time London South East catch up with Eldur Olaffson, CEO at AEX Gold (AEXG), he seems to have significantly added to the company story.
As Eldur says: "We have already discovered what we believe is a massive copper deposit, we have already discovered rare earths, we have already discovered graphite, we already have a discovery of vanadium and titanium - not to mention a world class gold deposit at Vagar."
AEX is listed on the TSXV in Toronto and has a secondary listing on AIM in London. And to better align with the basket of mineral riches which AEX has discovered in Southern Greenland they are changing their name to Amaroq Minerals shortly.
That's just one of a number of significant announcements from #AEXG in the last month.
The company have acquired a significant minerals exploration licence from Orano, principally a Uranium group, which makes AEX the largest acreage holder in Southern Greenland with 7,615 kilometres. Greenland apparently isn't keen on uranium mining and extraction licences are hard to come by.
The Varga Ridge gold exploration results were also published in May. Eldur says: "We think we are sitting on one of the biggest and most exciting gold exploration world class deposits, which is what makes it so exciting to be working in this area."
With so much mineral potential in Southern Greenland, asset allocation is going to be very important. Eldur explained they have their own rigorous methodology, and that for gold the priority is as follows.
1. Nalunaq gold mine, which will become a 'green' concept mine, providing a blue print to be followed and adapted in future mines.
2. Vagar as discussed above - potential world class deposit, 4x 3 km, with other similar deposits nearby.
3. Nanoq - gold/copper
And for green strategic minerals the priority is:
1. Sava (IOCG - Iron Ore, Copper, Gold belt)
2. Stendalen (Iron, Vanadium, Titanium)
3. Paatusoq (Rare Earths Niobium, Tantalum and Zirconium)
London South East caught up with Eldur after the release of several significant RNS's. The company is changing names to Amaroq Minerals. And the early indications are that Vagar Ridge is going to a be a world class gold deposit. As Eldur says: "We have already discovered what we believe is a massive copper deposit, we have already discovered rare earths, we have already discovered graphite, we already have a discovery of vanadium and titanium - not to mention a world class gold deposit at Vagar." Please see the full interview here: https://youtu.be/M0fW6oEFU2U
Short summary
AEX Gold significantly expands mineralised footprint around Vagar Ridge
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/981688/aex-gold-significantly-expands-mineralised-footprint-around-vagar-ridge-981688.html
And “Additionally, we have discovered five further prospects over the Vagar Licence with similar structures and alteration as seen at Vagar Ridge, and these will also be the focus of further exploration.”
Ongoing, (hopefully positive) newsflow set to continue.
Vagar has enormous potential. As Eldur states: "Vagar Ridge has the potential to become a globally significant discovery"
Last post: Culpepper, 6 May 2022 12:16
“The company is very well placed for the year ahead and investors will have a lot of news to digest as we announce the remaining exploration results for 2021 and our investment plans for 2022. “
It’s at least possible to read that as suggesting investors can anticipate a broadly positive newsflow based on what was known/inferred on result publication. Volume is very thin just now - one out one in sort of thing. Little bit of positive reporting will likely improve on that.

For the record.

Crikey they went through a lot of cash last year, $34m Canadian!!!
So the reopening of Nalunaq maybe further off than I had thought given: "The Company is in the process of updating its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Social Impact Assessment (SIA), which it expects to complete over the course of the next year." And then the process of review by authorities thereafter.

Dear all,
We were delighted to have AEX Gold CEO Eldur Olafsson present at our April Webinar. AEX is such an interesting Junior Miner with a wide range of prospective mining projects. Plenty of things going on here.
Greenland is one of the few places in the world that is very unexplored and where there is still potential of a monster discovery. Let's see if AEX will find one.

https://www.aexgold.com/investors/shareholders
I was just looking through the list and pleased to see the ‘local’ support. The pension fund caught my eye, and though longer-term shareholders will be aware, three sets of shareholders are acting in concert in Greenland. The ‘locals’ with Greenland at heart should be better informed than the rest of us.
SISA to become AEX Shareholder
Vækstfonden and Greenland Venture A/S, existing shareholders of AEX, have
recently entered into a cooperation agreement with SISA, a Greenlandic pension
fund, with a view to working together on recent investments in Greenland as
well as investing in companies with activities in Greenland. In the light of
this cooperation, Vækstfonden and Greenland Venture A/S have agreed to sell
approximately 1/3 of their shares in AEX Gold to SISA. The transaction is
expected to complete by late May at which point SISA will own 6.4%.
Eldur Olafsson, CEO of AEX Gold, said:
"This exercise is further endorsement by our long-term investors in their
support of AEX providing additional capital to the business. Furthermore, I am
very pleased to welcome SISA as a shareholder. As the only Greenlandic pensionfund this is a strong statement of support from them in our Greenland focussed strategy and is aligned with our long-term vision to build a full cycle,
Greenland gold mining company and partner to the country.”

in fairness Eldur indicated towards end of March, so I'd expect that to slip into April - just correlating the reality and what every other Mining CEO says.
Yes, lab results are pending for ages... Once it will be released we will likely get also updates on the exploration activities of the other projects and the progress on the processing plant so the next News Release will be a complete novel.
I prefer they give frequent updates instead of piling everything up.
Personally I’m bored stiff of this one. It still all hinges on drilling results and a big resource upgrade.
Is it very cheap or very expensive? Anyones guess, but these lab results are taking forever.
I wonder who is keeping this down.

We were delighted to catch up with with Eldur Olaffson, CEO at AEX Gold, the Greenlandic gold and green metals mining company. This CEO thinks differently than most others and it was a really good opportunity to hear him outline his Greenlandic-first philosophy and how that will help with the Nalunaq project and all the many others. AEXG obviously has an exciting future with a plethora of strong assets, and it's all about execution and delivery for them. Please watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/OYejZvw5G9k
