I’m hoping for 100p+ this year
Azule completion- rerate when people realise the amount of cash generated
3rd/4th deals announced
Seeking Alpha post from Analyst Robert Whelan on news of the Government approval of the Azule Deal.
'Fantastic news this morning. Afentra have received the third government approval from the ministry of energy in Angola. This paves the way to completion of the final 12% of Block 3/05 and will add to the already completed 18%.
Production currently up from 18,100 2023 average to 23,100 bopd gross (30% or 7,000 net to Afentra ). 2023 estimated asset level cash flow to Afentra was $67.4 million so looks like 2024 will beat that easily. (better economic terms from 01 Jan 24 also).
Not bad for a company with a market capitalisation of £105 million!
Keep your eyes on this company folks'
Some may remember Robert publishing an incredibly well researched and balanced Seeking Alpha article back in December 2023 setting out the investment case for Afentra - its well worth a read for those that may have missed it, or for a refresh, as Robert knocked the ball out the park with the quality of his analysis.

More realistic is probably that the SP will make 70p by the end of this year & 100p end of next year.
Dependent on what new deal(s) come through in the meantime.
Never forgetting McDade's stated aim to start paying a dividend by 2026!!
IMHO/GLA
Fabulous close - closer to my target a few multiples higher than here we go!
Yes and very happy to hold
Flurries of buys this afternoon.
“ i would hate to be out of this over the weekend “
No it isn't :)
There's plenty of good news still to come & plenty more deals as well :)
This is a buy and hold, then buy some more kinda share :)
Up to you but the “good news” is all fully priced in
And over a quid by the end of the year!
That's my guess :)
Just thought I'd post to get rid of Belle-end's negative subject header :)

Norfolk I think it was the teddy bears spike!
In theory now the its approved. The completion could come tomorrow morning.
All agreements and technicalities would have been pre-agreed.
Keep buying a spike then
Hopefully it completes late next week
JWB, show me on this teddy bear where the 3 x bagger SP rise on my investment to date hurt you.
When will we get the azule completion do we think?
MountTeide,
I've just gone back through my transaction history and found my first purchase was in April 2021 at 17p, so I've already trebled my money on the initial holding.
Unfortunately I'm only showing a 40% overall profit as I've been consistently buying on the way up :)
But I'll live with it, such is life! :)
PS. A special "Thanks" to JW Belle-ende for the dosh :)
That's mostly long only momentum traders scalping a good lunch.
Whereas, the well researched here who have used the pullbacks to average up as the investment case continued to strengthen, have been handsomely rewarded.
With many now sitting on or close to a one bagger paper profit, with plenty more to come, as the share-price is currently sitting at a price offering at least as much 'value' as when they first bought, such has been the progress made by the management in growing the business over the last year.
AIMHO/DYOR
Could be last of the Newlands. Or collecting shares to go back up. Either way this is going up Terry whether you like it or not.
Big dumps, high volumes shows you people are dumping as they know it’s spiked too high
Could have sworn you were saying this at 40p just a week ago too? lol
Zoom out and stop being emotionally attached.
It’s a massive spike on the chart and you will get the shares cheaper. Spikes never hold
It's literally the opposite of a spike.
No one here cares about a 3% daily fluctuation except you, for some unknown reason.
