Not to mention Vinci which is another giant. And gyrometric which has zero value attached presently. Patience needed. Imho. Good luck all
18 billion revnue. dont think pis realise how huge this could become for AERO. nice VR angle too.
Nice start of the week...
It’d be nice to know how much revenue these contracts are expected to bring in. The RNS is very encouraging. Let’s see how the market reacts today.
Contracts rolling in.
Was a bit worried for a moment - thought we weren't going to have a "skin in the game" this week but Lotto has saved the day!
3rd new client in as many weeks, Aero firing on all cylinders. Targeting repeat business, and cherry-picking the best customers now. Holding my golden tickets tight. This is a transformation in progress. GLA DYOR
Farina debt paid. Legal dispute with Mr Smith settled. Debt owed to him settled with little dilution. Old bod booted out. 33% skin in the game. Market informed unequivocally in June that NO raising or dilution for 12 months, unless value adding ie acquisition/business threads. Cutting edge survey equipment purchased: P2U, Pegasus backpack, flyability Elios. Focus is success. Renewed focus of business on just two threads: geocurve and gyrometric. Geocurve developing cutting edge VR surveying, gyrometric which has successfully demonstrated its usefulness in wind turbines in an ORE centre trial. (Marine use established). All above since Dec ie barely 6-7 months. This was doomed to bankruptcy without this intervention. A business turn around takes time. Meanwhile we have choices: read up on sector/developments, on Bod members and potential scale of ambition here, or sit and wallow over the past. Just my opinions here. Please DYOR. Good luck all
“Great week signing up to new client, VINCI Construction. Close to winning our first contract #survey #UAV #photogrammetry #volumetric #mobile_mapping” VINCI: Another construction industry giant looking at our services. Aecom, Robert West, Hesselberg Hydro, Aviva. Punters can move to the next rainbow. This is fundamental transformation into a profitable company. Patience needed. Imho. DYOR. Good luck all
It’s one of my biggest mistake investing here..I have no idea how to get out from here
Yes, another week (190th!) goes by with no progress. Hardly any trades - it seems that punters are losing interest, unfortunately.
Seem to be lossing momentum, and the buys seem to be drying up as the SP heads back towards pre consolidation levels. In need of some good news here via way of RNS. Still nothing re Avviva contract.
The real spread is only 7.5%....check the buy and sell price....
Yeh,but 30% spread....not good if you want to buy!!
Hows that for stability. Trump trade war and we haven't moved. :)
Wanted. Dead or alive. Stability.
Couldn't care what the spread is. Just looking forward to a strong future.
Look at the spread !!!!!!!!!!!!
Is dis sp dead???
"Some years back, all the online services thought it would be a good idea to attempt to list transactions as buys or sells, and devised a system - if a transaction is executed at a price above the mid-price, it is placed into the buy column. If executed below the mid-price it is placed in the sell column"
southgatem - couldn't argue with schaden's post, but I would add that the advertised spread can also be far removed from the actual spread on any given day. For instance, today you can buy for 1.25p and sell for 1.16p, thus the spread is only 7.75%.
Can also be very confusing when buys are put through as sells and vice versa.
Many thanks, much appreciated Schaden.
There are several factors that contribute to the difference between the bid and ask prices. The most evident factor is a security's liquidity. This refers to the volume or amount of stocks that are traded on a daily basis. Some stocks are traded regularly, while others are only traded a few times a day. The stocks and indexes that have large trading volumes will have narrower bid-ask spreads than those that are infrequently traded. When a stock has a low trading volume, it is considered illiquid because it is not easily converted to cash. As a result, a broker will require more compensation for handling the transaction, accounting for the larger spread.
Another important aspect that affects the bid-ask spread is volatility. Volatility usually increases during periods of rapid market decline or advancement. At these times, the bid-ask spread is much wider because market makers want to take advantage of - and profit from - the change. When securities are increasing in value, investors are willing to pay more, giving market makers the opportunity to charge higher premiums. When volatility is low and uncertainty and risk are at a minimum, the bid-ask spread is narrow.
Dipped my toe in here a number of months ago, I am very new to investing. Can anyone tell me or postulate why the spread is so sizeable?
