Thanks. One day this company will have it's value properly recognised (well north of here).
or slow build recognition of the company being undervalued, who knows. Divi record date is next Friday.
Jolly, we meet again. I hold quite a few of these myself - basically did the same maths as you. I tend to get the wallet out each time they drop below 28p. Good dividends and I try to keep in touch with M Hale.
Yes I agree with both. Personally surprised a bigger fish hasn't come knocking on the door, buying a divi paying, profit making company, with solid cash in bank and a good reputation. Brexit may prove an opportunity for them, but understand the caution too. Very cheap on fundamentals/facts.
Let us hope it stays at this price for a while longer. Having been here for a few years, I forget the SP, just sit back and collect the Divis. Better return than you can get in the bank and eventually the SP will reflect the value of the business and head back up to the 50p range. that is my view anyway
on ev/historic fcf... ..strip out 2p div, and you are paying 27p for c14p of cash (future div) plus 3-4p per year of fcf ..do the math/dyor etc etc: how many years until you investment is paid back? @4-5p div, 5-7 years..that's not available elsewhere except in v v v peculiar special sits ..BUT outlook is cautious esp for coming few months.. ofc
Ha ha what, that's called caution. Cheerful 21st put on high quality events, they will keep getting business. Overseas companies will be interested too with a devalued pound making AEO even more competitive. So many other duds on AIM valued well in excess of this, with multiple shares in issue, and multiple fund raisings! The facts are that this company has made profits, and paid divi's since 2014.
How the heck is this down, over 50% of MCAP is in solid cash, continues to make a profit, so what if it's slightly down from last year, and the as usual cautious statement from the chairman, it is paying a 2p divi, in addition to the 3p special divi from earlier in the year. That div yield is amazing. It has paid 5p dividends in total in the financial year. SP under 30p..
Got to say a little surprised at lack of interest/volume considering final results just round the corner. Looking at the cheerful scout website/twitter feeds they have been busy all year, though results of course only up to 30 June. If the cash in bank is what it was at interim's, that's almost 50% of MCAP held in hard cash, this has no debt, and has paid a divi since 2014 (yes really!). Hoping for another divi with these final results, though they did pay a special 3p divi in January so have to wait and see. When you look at other companies with a multiple MCAP of this, who have just diluted their shareholders to oblivion, it's bizarre IMO. Anyway, let's see what results say, hopefully they continue to show a profit.
Really, a joke IMO.
Standard is around mid October. I would be surprised to see anyone selling in the build up, and expecting an increase in buys before, in anticipation of a divi.
a little tick up...ca't be long now...
7.5k at 0.30. Been reading up on AEO again, checking its website, twitter feed. Cheerful 21st seems to have done really well, and is continuing to do well. I'd be expecting at least a divi of 2p come results, though it was 3p last year, they paid a special earlier this year, so being cautious. Ridiculously undervalued IMO.
That's why I left, can't be bothered to wait,
Very very painful waiting
Patiently waiting.... some buys to help the creep up....
Should return. Expecting results to be positive... They have had a very good summer...
i got bored and went to Proxama
and finals not too far away
Positive company with excellent clients and pays a dividend,
What was the point of the recent board share transfer
another agency might like to purchase this? probably have to pay a lot of goodwill for it - wonder if market cap can get to 5 mill soon
traded publically
Percentage of issued share capital not in public hands @ 06 June 2016 62%
i think dividend will be maintained
