Yes it was a 5 star rated analyst at RBC, Peter Lenardos, that gave them his seal of approval. I'm a technical trader and it looks to have performed an island reversal on the daily chart. It appears to be a good risk/reward trade at the moment, although all the indicators are saying don't buy. PS: Dividend payments cost them £250m in 2016, which is more than their £200m operating profit. Not good in my view and is a cash drain on the company.
Well nice it moved up, can only assume it was the broker upgrade for the sector to perform, but lowered the forcast price, still 20p from here or so.!!
went into the level of 247, W5, so took a punt and bought some more. I still love this one for the divs.. ;-)
Seems it find it hard to get above the 50EMA, could see price hit 247 as it looks for support.
Is it me or does it look like an inverse head and shoulders?
A bit of a decent recovery across the financial sector at the moment. Not entirely sure why they are all up at the moment, but I'll take it.
278.10p +4.90 (+1.79%) another strong move up from the very start of the day and now holding around to below the best of the day

Much higher volume than lately, and on looking at the chart the 2 weeks on the pause from falling had done a floor than in any demand has pushed the price up today. So I bought some http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=staticchart&s=L%5EADN&width=700&height=285&p=3&t=1&dm=2&vol=1&cb=

Anyone got any views on ADN becoming a takeover target by a US company ? .. As ADN talk about looking to buy in the US and talking about the exchange rate that made me think that what they were really suggesting is for a US company to buy them given the good value at this moment in time.

Momentum to the downside seem to have slowed with the RSI making a higher low and the price making short term lower lows. Price currently away from the volume peak price of 333.00 and could return to test close to that level. The 316.01 level could also be a slight sticking point but we must be aware that the company are reporting FY earnings on Monday so they may be some positioning ahead of this event. The Support and Resistance levels are marked by the price labels on the chart. https://uk.tradingview.com/chart/ADN/JqKSNdYo-Aberdeen-Asset-Management-ADN-LN/
