Some on here are suggesting a retrace after yesterday's ANN. There is absolutely NO reason to justify such an action, although investors will make the market. Greed and fear my friends, greed and fear, rule this market for the next few weeks. Roll the dice and pick your number. The COS have always been 50% - so you have an evens chance of losing your money against an unknown upside.
For balance BOOOOOOOMMM!!!!
Some justification in a retrace would be those selling after making 40% surely. Not a big retrace - just those who arent in for the long term.
Jiddy, the 50% cos figure is for getting a commercial flow rate of 100bpd+ when we test the best 2 zones not for finding oil. I would see a positive logging result as almost nailed on here imo. It's whether it flows or not, that's the coin flip bit.
Jiddy,
I did mentioned for small retrace up to 5%; which basically doesn’t make much difference. Small retrace is healthy for next big push up.
I’m still looking for rebound from tomorrow onwards. Chart looks bullish...
Someone purchased 4.9m shares at 1p (GBP 50,000). Delay trade is just showing now.
Ask yourself this question minime77, if you sell and take a profit at this moment in time, who is going to buy those shares?
The answer is EVERYONE who wants in - IMHO, any retrace will be short lived going into next week and then the FT's. The outcome of this drill in UNKNOWN.
GREED and FEAR will rule the roost.
I think news will land first on LSE on Monday morning, therefore I would most definitely not like to be out of this over the weekend.
As I just said, for every short term profit taker, there is a short term profit taker! The shares are in DEMAND.
This is no different from buying and selling anything - BUY LOW and SELL HIGH. We just don't know what the REAL value of the SP is.
Jiddy - why so aggressive with every reply? The capitals in your posts refer to shouting.
I am simply saying some people have bought low and are now selling high. I have not said that the sp will not go higher - I sincerely hope it does - but a small retrace due to some profit taking is not a bad thing. As you say it will bring on new blood. GLA
boom.boom, I am anticipating a break out Northwards from 1p today. When it goes, there will be a tsunami of demand and the SP will move quickly.
IMHO of course!
Jiddy you really are an angry man.. yes I have traded this stock a lot and made very good money.. being an ethical trader is not determined by a comment on LSE my friend. I always use the money to donate to various charities and causes so it’s a bit disappointing when calls judgement on you, however i won’t lose sleep over it. GLA
I am not angry Digger88, just browned off!
How can any trader be "ethical", as it is a contradiction in terms. You are making money at someone else's expense. What you do with the money is your concern, but how you make it is the defining factor.
filter button is the best antedote jiddy
I am very near to maxing out my list l-a LOL!
Yes filter me “again” please haha! Can’t stay away ;)
jiffy re: your comment ay 09:53, sure lots of traders are ethical (not saying all are!). They are not profiting at someone else's expense, they are purchasing shares at a SP that someone else is wanting to sell at (LTH's do the same although not with the same interest in shorter term swings).
Considering your "charitable" nature, your personality does not support it.
jiddy, apologies for typing jiffy, genuine typo!
thetic: "They are not profiting at someone else's expense" Are you really saying that on a share BB?
Whose expense are they profiting at? You are profiting also at the expense of someone by that logic. I do get that there are a lot of "traders" of AIM shares that deramp on here but
1. they don't make any difference to the SP
2. aren't representative of all traders!
Of course I am profiting at someone else;s expense.
That is the name of the game - some win and some lose. It's all about the timing of the investment.
So far, share price is doing v well. Strong buys going through but below mid-price, thus printing as a sell.
I will be very happy if it closes in red (only 1-2%), then it's a strong northward push is expected. That's how the chart looks like in the last 3 years of 88E.
It goes north then slight retrace and then another strong northward push then small retrace and then strong northward push.
Quite a few years ago I sold a small plot of land for £25k. Over time the new owner got planning permission for a house on it making it worth £45k. He was very pleased with the result at what he considered 'my expense'. Maybe...but I bought a house with the £25k, collected rent for 5 years and sold it on for £70k.
It's all relative, and of course hindsight is a wonderful thing with all things speculative.
Minime - if you think Jidd is angry with capitalisations in his posts, check out Mr Angry! He must have whacked his thumb with his mallet.
