Well, I sold out mi amigo , and put it in the cinema industry ...
Let's hope I did the right thing ....
Daisies are sprouting now:-)
I won't belittle anyone's holding. £200 is no doubt a lot to some.
However I do get your point Robin.
Equally I think there are some fantasists with their sizeable holdings also.
Always selling at the top and buying at the bottom ;-)
Party on hold to second half year now? ;-)
It's a safer thing I feel sure sammy, and returns not to be sniffed at medium/long-term.
C'mon the movies!!!
I've never really understood this medium / long term !!..
What is medium term ?..what is long term ?...
Each has a different view I guess on both
Back over £1 by close despite the market crash
Yeh medium/long guess it's that how long is piece of string.
Suppose when I was parroting it there I was thinking medium measured in months (as much as c. year).
Long-term
well year(s) /indefinitely.
Neither next week(s) ;-)
Totally off subject. I've got my yearly Mensa exam tomorrow.
Half of 99? 49.5
Spell Czechoslovakia? Czechoslovakia
At a guess , I'd like to think £1.40/£1.50 was achievable by xmas ...
But , who knows what the cineplex scenario plays out like
Dont put what I put on my offshore survival firefighting questionairre!
Q. What steps would you take in the event of fire

Jangho sold a few , made a few quid
They have continually proven to be good value investors eh sammy.

Guys your esteemed leader is speaking on CNBC atm ,Mooky .....
Its ok Mooky has finished share price going up now !
As I expected, profitable second half 2021 (not quite enough to clear first half losses).
2022 back to around pre-pandemic attendance and profits.
Then building on.
Trading around the £ mark again in the next week!?
With now pretty much all uncertainty cleared from the last year.
Just back home...
Mmm, well, I suppose it could have been worse..Not a lit left in the closet now re: surprises/bad news
Yeah, I don't rule out some games still to be played for a bit and some ups and downs.
However the business is really on a clear path forward now.
Covid USA and UK well on way to being controlled with vaccine programs now.
This has us in position that once open in a few weeks there will be no threats of re closure going forward.
Rights Issues/CVA put to bed. Well at least during this phase and can't see before higher SP if ever now (we know lender deal of c. 10% over next couple years and LTIP shares).
Without an Iranian nuclear strike enough liquidity confirmed to see business through to profitable times.
Studios still committed to cinema, even if for current year that is alongside streaming release day and date format. They are not leaving their golden ticket of cinematic release.
Re-open dates confirmed and capacity of 50% plus straight off the bat.
Some cracking looking upgrades to the US main cinema venues and completely new venue.
These I expect to add excellent additional revenue to what we had previously.
(Shut up FI, the guys already know all this themselves)
Sorry
Thanks FI...saved me reading the RNS ...
I couldnt be ar$ed reading it this morning , in fact I didnt wake until 08.30.. :-))
