Rns on 14th indicating Mou partner has pulled out of quartz project at Kvinerehad.
Any thoughts on impact to the Engbeo project, especially with regards to free cash flow.
Will they set up separate projects? That have silo' d funding.
All seems to be on track with Engbeo, roll on 2025.

That is I need a few % more on Nordic to break even on Nordic in My SIPP.
Getting close now.
Couple % rise a day is great.
Mick I need a few % to break even in my SIPP, Ive caught a real cold with Bens Creek so very careful about over exposing to one share again, but the case with Nordic just seems to be getting better.
Hope you see the price rise as we approach production and then it becomes what I believe most investors are in for which is the dividend. Good luck
Long way to go before I even break level 😭 but hey-ho, I'm here for the div's so plenty time to make good....💰
Wouldnt be surprised to see a pull back in SP up to mining, they might take a lump of profit now.
I will keep what money I have available now until it gets back to a target price below about 15-15.5.
Not bad for the investors at the last placement, the have doubled their money and not a penny of income yet.
Lucky people.

Just picked up the news this morning. Great start to the day. Good luck Mick, lets hope to enjoy the ride.

Is the 30-40 Nok statement taking into account the share split? if so I agree.
I think once production starts the price will move to its fair value considering forward sales and expected Free cash flow.
Holding strong and all I might do now is buy a few to get my holding divisible by 20.
GL
Ps I will be disappointed if the SP is not in the region of 30-40NOK in a years time (court cases and all going well).... 🙏
Tenantry, what I've read in the past, generally reverse splits are not a good thing for the share price. But in this instance, I think with the project being on the ascendancy, and investors viewing the possibilities of near term future dividends (a year or two), this will attract new money. In addition, institutions are also more likely to invest in something in the tens of NOK rather than low NOK (it's a perception).
So IMO, it's a good thing.... GLA😊
Any thoughts. I know it makes the company look better than a penny share.

That seems a very confident line to include.
Thanks Tenantry....👍

Interesting commentary.
Mick, To be honest I was coming from a pretty low base of shares and the more I looked into Nordic I made the decision that the Keliber Link was fortuitous and the project was providing me the opportunity to get in at the sweetest price I could get which works out to be about 25% above the offering price after investing what I could afford when I could.
Its a pension play for me unless the possible in production price really offers an opportunity to make a significant difference to the overall pot.
Have you had any kind of feedback other than the linked in link you posted ( I couldnt see it for what ever reason )
Any way.... good luck Mick.

Prosperous 2024 to you Tenantry et al....👍 and it could be starting really early on in the year....😅
Many thanks Mick for the info, Happy New Year (fingers crossed)
There's been an expected decline in the price as I assume Traders have gotten their profits out and will come back in if the ruling goes in Nordics favour. ( assuming they can get in )
Anyway, all the best to all holders LT or ST.
Well Tenantry et al.....Jan 2024 is going to be a very significant month

Then onto production by the end of the year ....great start to 2024.....🎇
Naturvernforbundet and Natur og Ungdom have not upheld that the permit for mining with sea ponies in the Førde Fjord is invalid.
The environmental organisations must also pay NOK 1.4 million for the state's legal costs. This is evident from the verdict in the Fjord lawsuit that came from Oslo District Court today.
1 hurdle cleared for Nordic, 2nd at the end of the month with case brought by Arctic minerals and Landowners against the lower courts ruling in Nordic Favour in a previous dispute relating to rights of landowners and arctic minerals for minerals that are not included in the original mining permit but are within the excavated material. ( I think thats the jist of it)
Fingers crossed for end of month.

So we should know by tomorrow evening.
Naturvernforbundet and Natur og Ungdom have sued the state to allow the dumping of mining waste in Førdefjorden, and at 17.45 the verdict will be published by Oslo District Court. The so-called "Fjord Lawsuit" has been an ongoing environmental dispute since the 1990s. In connection with the verdict, the leaders of Naturvernforbundet and Natur og Ungdom invite to a press conference, where lawyer Amund Noss from CMS Klunge also participates. The press conference can be followed live on the Fjord Lawsuit website.

I've tried to register but cant receive the verification code for some reason.
GLA
Thanks for the update Mick.
I honestly thought this was a low risk as Nordic have the Governments backing in the case I believe? but nothing is finalised until its sorted so that will explain the slide in price.
More opportunity for me to get the average down,
GLA
Hi Tenantry and all fellow SH's. It seams this share is in limbo until there is movement in the Norwegian Supreme Court appeals process. This has been referred for a Hearing, and the last news from Nordic was that the appeal was expected to be heard in October, well that target has now slipped as this is not scheduled at least up to 16 November (see link);
https://www.domstol.no/en/supremecourt/hearings/
With a positive outcome for Nordic Mining in the appeal, the SP could easily triple in a relevantly short timescale. Construction is well underway and on schedule, so as far as I am aware this should be producing by the end of 2024, I can actually see me receiving dividends on this one as part of my retirement in early 2026....GLA
Morning everyone.
Any thoughts on this share now or are we all now just sitting and waiting?
I've been increasing my holding whilst we are still at and around the last placing price trying to bring the average down.

I suspect Christian Gjerde as CFO did such a lousy job in some financing decisions that he was given the option to resign or be fired.
Now Nordic Mining needs to employ a more capable financial director, which I believe they will do.
Apologies.
He resigned as CFO in April, so personally I'm not too concerned at the moment.
GLA
Wonder why the CFO has sold all his shares.?
I'm just about to buy another grands worth to average down after the dilution but might wait a day or two whilst I see what the market says.
Any thoughts.?

I had shares in Nordic a year ago but decided to sell out with a loss just before the dilution in March. I'm thinking of going back in because I think NOM is unique in the way that other companies are not, because it's like having a crystal ball for the future! We know what to a certain point the direction Nordic Mining will be in say 5 years from now! Which you cannot say about most other companies. Basically, it's a retirement share with solid future growth.
When it comes to the Supreme Court, I have no fear because Nordic received a favourable decision from the district court and High court. Even if the ruling goes against Nordic, then we are talking 10-15 years in the future before they are planning on mining that part of the mountain.
Looks like it will be around October and we have the backing of the Norwegian Government...

on the Subsequent Offering from the BoD and Management, As far as I can make out from their stock market releases:
https://www.nordicmining.com/investors/stock-market-releases/
it looks like 5 members of the board / management have participated in the offering, and at least two have oversubscribed their allocation.
That at least gives me a bit more confidence in the money I've spent protecting against the dreaded dilution....GLA

Thank you Mick.
Iw ill just crack on and buy on the market, I was hoping to see a possible drop in price due to the offering and get them cheaper after the event.
Heh-ho!
I will need to read up on the legal case, another missed bit of info in my research.!!!
Hi Tenantry, I received notification from my SIPP provider that the holding company for my shares had given a deadline of 6 April to participate in the offer, but that due to time limitations (2 days), they could not action on my behalf. Not that it mattered as I had previously bought in at 3% above the offer.
On another matter, I see that the Norwegian Supreme Court has accepted for hearing the Arctic Mineral Resources appeal;
https://www.domstol.no/en/supremecourt/hearings/referred/22-183855SIV-HRET/
I don't think this has been RNS'd yet?
Has anyone heard from their stockbroker about the repair offer?
As it is only open to existing stockholding in place on 2nd March I thought existing holders would have been contacted by their brokers.
I'm with HL and have heard nothing yet.

Well....why bother waiting on the subsequent offer, at lease I can buy more than the allocation at a price only around 3% higher than the repair offering. So bought around 114% of my existing holding at NOK 0.617.
Nordic is only making up 2.5% of my total shareholding so definitely not over exposed on it, but some error of judgement in other shares, particularly EUA which is about 13% of my share holding.
2026 will probably be the latest I can possibly allow myself to be working till as my wife is already retired and getting a bit fed up of me still enjoying what I do!
I think this is one of my safest investments now due to the project funding sorted and I hope to see income from it for a few years of possibly sell up and take the growth into the pot.
Good luck Mick.
Hi Tenantry
I'm in a similar boat (with similar investment experience). And I also like the way this company has progressed, albeit not overly pleased with the amount of dilution, but at least they are fully funded with a clear pathway to production.
At the moment this share represents about 18% of my SIPP (high % for me), so it is a dilemma for me to participate in the repair, but on the other hand, it would be wrong not too.
The early construction works is well advanced and on schedule, they are fully funded with ample contingencies (55m), production commence end 2024, forecast returns 55-80%. For me, whats not to like as my planned retirement (all going well) is first quarter 2026. So keeping the share and reaping the dividend is very much an option for my retirement....Good Luck T
Good evening Mick.
To be honest, Im not really that clever when it comes to stock watching and what a stock may be worth in x amount of time so its all about where the value may be in a couple of years
75 % of my share holding is in my SIPP, I'm lucky that I'm still working and can contribute decent amounts to it from my Company.
My portfolio is made of what I would call longer term income shares, but also ones which may see good growth over the medium term.
I was comfortable with my holding but reacted immediately to the placing by buying 10000 more shares at a little bit above placing price, I should have done soe more research and got a few more for my money after the EGM..my bad.
If I could get 35p it would mean I had doubled my investment but I will see if I add some more after the EGM, but I do like the feel of the company and will play it by ear on where the company is when I need to consider drawing down on my pension pot.
PS I think you'll find that there is a clause in the 'Subsequent Offer' that if the SP is at or below the offer price, then they have the right to cancel the repair offer.

Hi Tenantry....see below link to notification of Extraordinary General Meeting on 30 March;
https://tools.eurolandir.com/tools/Pressreleases/GetPressRelease/?ID=4254499&lang=en-GB&companycode=n-nom&v=
A good way of keeping up to date is subscribe on their website, link as follows;
https://www.nordicmining.com/investors/subscribe-investor-information/
I have sent them an email politely asking how this private and subsequent (repair) offerings benefit me when the price would have to go up to NOK 1.93 before I go back into green territory (and that is after I participate in the subsequent / repair offering).
Cheers for that Mick.
I've not seen any indication of repair offer being made yet and I note that LSE does not carry any news info so Im hopeful that any offers from the company will drop in as messages in my HL account. Would you be so good as to keep me updated if you see or hear anything about it and I will do likewise.
Cheers
ditto on your sentiment, especially the link to Keliber as that was one of the main reasons that attracted me to NM. And now, I think I'll be hanging around for the estimated 50 - 80% dividends (as forecast in latest presentation) in a short couple of years time. Funny you referencing the current SP as I was just re-watching the recent podcast - https://channel.royalcast.com/hegnarmedia/#!/hegnarmedia/20230207_2
Around the 21:40 mark they specifically reference the impact of the private placement on shareholders and indicate all new, old, large and small will benefit. Doesn't look that way on paper at the moment. Think may ask them where my benefit comes from as it's not really apparent at the moment.... ;-/
Looks Like the MMs are taking the price down to the repair price Mick!!
