Still no word on the repair offering.
Kvinnerhead is still on radar and getting ready for exploratory drilling in 2026
Well another Kick in the proverbials.
Can only hope this investment will allow loans to be repaid and provide sufficient funding till full production.
Repair offering for smaller share holders might soften the impact
Hope you are OK Mick
The recent update wasn't expected by me though. Its been a tough time since we went into production. I know all plant have teething troubles in commissioning and initial ramp up, but I thought this was going to have fewer than we seem to have had.
I bought as a dividend stock and hoped to see growth as a consequence of that steady income. Im comfortable with my holding this weeks drop was a reaction to that report and I expect a recovery and hopefully Norway can sort out what they are going to do regarding the challenges of environmental impact and protection over the positive impacts on employment the need to develop an alternative source of critical minerals in this increasingly uncertain world economy. Good Luck Mick
I'm still here Tenantry π₯³and still expecting dividends in 2026 which coincides with my retirement in Marchπ
It's just a drag if you expect SP growth, but it'll come with the supreme court judgement π
Well I wasn't expecting that.
Going to be a very testing time i think.
Nordic are talking about strong game...they have permits and continue as normal.
Hope your OK Mick...

Excellent Tenantry....never seen that yesterday and didn't expect anything extraordinary until the first ship docked for rutile delivery....π
Let's see what happens for the rest of the week...π€
Nice lift today.. looks like the news regarding the EFTA court ruling and Norwegain Govt refusal to cancel the permits is now out there.
Lets go and see some good production figures, and get this Mine fully in business for the next 40 + years.
Good luck Mick

This seems like a fairly balanced assessment of what the future holds...fingers crossed.
https://norwaystocks.substack.com/p/nordic-mining-from-permits-to-profits
I think the recent interim reports has provided a positive outlook for the future ramp up.
Key point for me was that the original contractor couldn't get slurry pump performance which was holding production values back, they brought in an independent contractor who made recommendations which following implementation have got the design specs back. They have subsequently employed this independent to review the whole installation who reports that they believe the rest of the installation is up to standard. Roll on full production by year end.

Excellent news Tenantry, and I think when the first boat arrives for the rutile delivery we will see real movement...π
Nordic Mining advises its Customer "Barton Group" that it is ready to make the first commercial shipment of garnet to Bartons Rotterdam facility.
The Pumps have been redesigned and new capacity is being installed and expects to be ramping up production Rutile by the month end.
Expectation is that Nordic will reach steady state production by year end as anticipated.
Great news and hopefully a catalyst for increase in SP and hopefully news soon on EFTA ruling update.

The π is only around a century late in empire building.
It seems we have equipment problems (under rated pumps), hence there is delays in fulfilling contracts, with the result being a drop in SP.
I was hoping to be up in the mid Β£2 by now, but it looks like that ain't going to happen for a while yetπ
Yep Mick , I believe a good result, probably what I was expecting. Considering where the world is at the moment there will be little appetite to leave a critical mineral in the ground only for USA (Trump and his acolytes) to lay claim to it?
Tenantry, it looks like it failed on one count (financial benefits), but passed on the other two counts (critical mineral and benefit to prevent loss of population). This now goes back to the original court for a ruling.
The EFTA Court's ruling in the FΓΈrdefjord case will be released on Wednesday.

Interesting article but I cant see any confirmation from Nordic that the NGU statement that only Slicon of 99.9999 % purity is useful for Semiconductors.
Side of the business to keep an eye on.

Taken from the Finansavise forum.. I will try to dig out the source.
The reason why investors trade in the stock is:
A margin of a hefty 60% from 2025 to 2030.
Revenues for this year are estimated to be NOK 820 million with free cash flow of NOK 3 billion for the period 2025-2030.
They will not pay taxes until 2028 due to a carry-forward deficit (development and construction of the mine).
Analysts write: Strong cash generation leaves room for significant dividend payments. They envisage refinancing of the bond and an 80% dividend from 2026. With USD 45 million in free cash flow in 2026 and an 80% dividend, there will be NOK 3.80 per share in dividend.
You have to look further for a better case. It is therefore natural that we see investors hoarding shares in the company.

On Tuesday afternoon, January 7, 2025, minor flames were discovered in of one of
the drying machines at our facility at EngebΓΈ.
No one was injured due to the incident. The incident was handled according to
procedures, with notification to the emergency response services and the power
was quickly turned off. The fire did not develop further, and the flames went
out by itself after controlled shutdown of the machine. In cooperation with the
machine vendor and local emergency services, we will investigate the cause of
the incident.
Based on preliminary assessments, we do not expect the incident to cause any
significant delays in our production ramp-up phase.
Hopefully all part of the commissioning journey and we move forward.
GLA and glad all at Nordic are Safe.

Case result status - Pending
https://eftacourt.int/cases/e-1324/
Hi Roy
Possibly the hearing, and possibly people trading this up and down....but this will stop when we are in production proper.
To be honest, I am not too worried about the case, or for that matter this short term trading. IMO we will win the case on it's merits alone, never mind the recent confidence of our new share holder. And I am still of the opinion that all going well, when the first deliveries to our clients have been announced, we will be sitting closer to Β£3 than Β£2.50. Roll on the Spring.... π
I have asked for this post to be removed, the source is quoting and linking a headline from October 24 when the EFTA hearing has submissions issued.
My apologies to all who read, probably only you mick
Taken from the FINSAVISEN forum, this is suggested as the reason for the drop.
The FΓΈrdefjord case starts in the Efta Court β both sides believe in victory
Today, the hearing on the FΓΈrdefjord case starts in the Efta Court. Both parties believe they have a good case.
Fingers crossed Mick,
Cant believe Svelland Capital would take 15% so close to the known court case if they didnt have confidence in Nordic Being unaffected with respect to Engbeo Rutile.. different to Kvinershead quartz project.

Roy

Well that was a total 180deg comment. Surprising drop in share price , cant find anything anywhere as to the cause, theyre company with money in the bank, full order book and just announced theyre producing albeit still with loading ramp-up commissioning being undertaken.
This drop seems to have occurred just as Svelland capital have come on board. Who's shares did they buy up and at what price.? did they get them cheap.?
Any thoughts anyone.
Probably only me and you on here Mick!
Yes Mick, Hopefully off and running in the New year.
Have a great break and all the best.

Rise for controversial mining stock
Nordic Mining is also among the winners on Monday, with an increase of 3.7 percent. This comes after the company's controversial mining facility with seawater landfill in the FΓΈrdefjord has now started up.
Looking better. Official notification on XMAS eve would be a nice present!!!!
Mick, I'm useless with sharing but there is an interesting link on the Finansavisen web site for NOM.
Looks like some analysts suggesting profitable in 2025.
I can't get full translation so a bit sketchy on detail, but I'm half hopeful of an update on production this week.
All the best for Xmas and NY.
Good luck

For them to Acquire 15 % some one had to sell 15 % I think it may be the construction companies that were infor about 15 % Fjordavjen Holdings I think. I don't know why I think this but It just seems strange that someone wants out at this stage and with construction complete they may wish to pocket their profit and move on.
Tenantry, I'm as much in the dark as you. They don't even show up in the current top 20 shareholder list on Nordic Minings own website?
It is strange that we have commenced production, are ramping up and we have a new largest shareholder (that doesn't show on list), yet our share price falls...π
Mick from my take, an RNS released today is indicating Svelland capital have acquired 15.42 % of Nordic. I think its good that another Institution trading on the main stock exchange has invested, however a 2.5 % drop today though???
Any thoughts?

Cheers Mick
I had picked up on the presentation comments but couldn't reconcile the steady decline in SP against the comments in the presentation,
On reflection I wish I had taken a bit of profit out in my Wifes SIPP ( we got in right at new price) but I thought I may miss out on a surprise Production update.
Hopefully this pull back will reverse and off we go again once production is confirmed, and yes, the new excahge should hopefully open up to new buyers.
Good Luck
Hi Tenantry
I'm not sure if you watched the presentation, so here is a link;
https://channel.royalcast.com/hegnarmedia/#!/hegnarmedia/20241105_5
My understanding from the presentation is that the rutile agreement does have flexibility in price, but the garnet does not. And again from the presentation, they were asked in the Q&A twice for a definitive date for the start of production, which they declined to give (only that it would be Q4). This is the cause of the decline I think, and as you say patience / profit taking....π I also think when this joins the main exchange (in progress), there will be a decent uptick...π
Reading presentation they seem to highlight reduction in demand for product, and a possible reduction in price.
I'm hoping the drop is just folk lacking patience or people taking a piece of the early profit.
End of November hopefully we get news on production commencing.
GL
Mick
I think the article is referring to producers of Titanium rather than the ore.
Japan is mentioned as a producer and Itawani are a Japanese company, I think they are the buyers of the first 5yrs of product.
Nice lift occurring now.
Good luck

Understand the Keliber thing. Lithium price severely depressed so just keeping an eye on Sibayne generally.
Not sure if you view Finansavisen web site but a comment on there that Thomas Osbort has sold 1.3 million shares.
Price down a bit last 2 days. .
I'm hoping the dibs make this a decent pension income, but if price gets tasty I might be tempted to sell, but if we believe the figures this is good for 30 yrs plus. Divd could be where the money is.
Good to hear from you and good luck.
Keep ears open on that sell of by insider.
No RNS yet though so wonder if it's genuine info.
Hi Tenantry
Wouldn't say I was following Keliber, we got a great deal from them, so I do wish them well. And like most newbies (and established) in the Lithium space, they are way down because of raw material price.
We are ticking along nicely, and still think by next Easter we will be around Β£3 all going well.
It will be interesting here in the next year or two as we will be producing Q125, so when will they decide to pay something back (divs) after long suffering holders had to endure that crap (in my opinion) funding. My plan, still to be in until at least 2026, when hopefully we'll have had div payments, then make a decision if this will be part of my long term pension pot....GL
Mick
Not sure if you're still following Keliber but I think the ex Nordic Mining linked project with Keliber looks like it's now fully funded by Sibayne and their price is 50% approx down since the sell off by Keliber.
Worth a look at I think.

Good work on site.
Independent engineers indicate project is on time and on budget.
FROM RNS Below.
Nordic Mining ASA ("Nordic Mining" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that
the Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary EngebΓΈ Rutile and Garnet AS
("ERG"), has completed the third, and final, release of USD 48 million from the
Escrow Account that holds the proceeds from the issuance of the USD 100 million
senior secured bond ("Bond").
The third, and final, release is another important milestone for the EngebΓΈ
Project as the independent engineer appointed on behalf of the bondholders
confirmed for the third time that a cost-to-complete test has been satisfied,
being a third-party assessment of the Company's projections that the EngebΓΈ
Project has sufficient funding and will be completed on time. A similar
assessment was confirmed by another independent engineer in connection with the
drawdown of the USD 50 million non-dilutive royalty instrument as announced 16
November 2023.
Production start is expected in Q4 2024 with sales revenue expected in Q1 2025.

That is I need a few % more on Nordic to break even on Nordic in My SIPP.
Getting close now.
Couple % rise a day is great.
Mick I need a few % to break even in my SIPP, Ive caught a real cold with Bens Creek so very careful about over exposing to one share again, but the case with Nordic just seems to be getting better.
Hope you see the price rise as we approach production and then it becomes what I believe most investors are in for which is the dividend. Good luck
Long way to go before I even break level π but hey-ho, I'm here for the div's so plenty time to make good....π°
Wouldnt be surprised to see a pull back in SP up to mining, they might take a lump of profit now.
I will keep what money I have available now until it gets back to a target price below about 15-15.5.
Not bad for the investors at the last placement, the have doubled their money and not a penny of income yet.
Lucky people.

Is the 30-40 Nok statement taking into account the share split? if so I agree.
I think once production starts the price will move to its fair value considering forward sales and expected Free cash flow.
Holding strong and all I might do now is buy a few to get my holding divisible by 20.
GL
Ps I will be disappointed if the SP is not in the region of 30-40NOK in a years time (court cases and all going well).... π
Tenantry, what I've read in the past, generally reverse splits are not a good thing for the share price. But in this instance, I think with the project being on the ascendancy, and investors viewing the possibilities of near term future dividends (a year or two), this will attract new money. In addition, institutions are also more likely to invest in something in the tens of NOK rather than low NOK (it's a perception).
So IMO, it's a good thing.... GLAπ
Any thoughts. I know it makes the company look better than a penny share.
