Nel may have lost the front lawn but have the whole of the US & Canada to supply Nikola Corp Tre hydtogen stations. They want 700.
"At first, Nikola would help establish this infrastructure using PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) on main federal transmission lines. The idea was to buy electricity for cheap when it is in low demand to power electrolyzers and decompose water into hydrogen. Nikola had even purchased five alkaline electrolyzers from Nel ASA, each of them able to produce 8 tons of hydrogen per day."

All Hydogen stocks I hold are down, not sure when any recovery to buy levels will occur but Im in too deep in ITM and NEL to sell up and get out.
TBH I really believe they will come back so a real LTH for me I think, a bit like my Rolls Royce shares
YARA FERTILIZERS INTERNATIONAL , PORSGRUNN HEROYA AMMONIA FACTORY - Q2-Q3 2022 Install.
5MW to install = ONLY 1% H2O Capability - MASSIVE
So the plot thickens ? ITM get 25mw order , NEL are INSTALLING in Q2-3 a 5mw. There is many multiples of MW from this point up for grabs still and NEL will be up and running latest Q3, so time to prove up the skills in fitting, running and servicing our electrolyser.
Still in first but a big win too for ITM , well done to their sales team.
Yeah read it and posted to you on itm. Itm still down though ???
Major, have you read ITM's press release this morning. There 24MW order is for Yara in Heroya. That's right on Nels patch. I'm a bit surprised. But my guess is they buy their hydrogen from Linde and that's an easier door to open.
Any thoughts?
"The electrolyser is to be installed at a site operated by Yara Norge AS ("Yara") located at Herøya outside Porsgrunn, about 140 km southwest of Oslo. The site covers an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometres and is the largest industrial site in Norway. The Porsgrunn site produces 3 million tons of fertiliser per year."
Hexagon Agility in South England expansion .....
Feeling generous tonight.
Some major news coming out across a lot of the hydrogen US sector tonight , drops being countered with news. This below is UK based and inc Toyota Mira & Hyundai. Both NEL customers along with BOSCH....

Hahaha, gonna make a few work for this one , teehee.
Another freebie then ?

In reference to your earlier post... I find your research tip top. It's much appreciated
Ps the 2 question marks were changed from a thumbs up
Actually Major Oak... I think k the quality of your research is tip top. V interesting reading. I have investments in 2 start up hydrogen companies so enjoy your input ??
According to Everfuel, renewable wind power will power the HySynergy Project, a so called PtX (power-to-X) plant, which AS Dansk Shell will incoporate into exisiting processes at the Fredericia refinery to either a) provide a source of power, as you mentioned, or, (b) using H2 directly in their synthesis routes (instead of getting it via gas reforming, indirectly) to reduce the CO2 footprint of their products; H2 being the reducing agent for several processes, e.g. hydrogenation of unsaturated C,H-intermeditates open to open up ethylene oxides (-> ethylene glycol), amongst several other product synthetic routes.
After the intital stage (building it this minute, as we know), later 1 GW on the cards from 2030-35 onwards.
Nearly one-half the energy consumed by refineries is obtained from by-product refinery gas and coke, and about one-third is supplied by natural gas. On a regional basis, refineries were found to vary by a factor of two in the amount of energy used to refine a unit of crude oil.
I would assume, the refining byproduct will still provide some of the power supply but I have seen plans for 2025 and another oil refinery using biomass, solar and obviously hydrogen.
The point of changing to hydrogen power is to remove byproducts CO2 from power creation, which you know, so I would assume this is the focus and not necessarily removing the 'blue' aspect of natural gas, but to convert more of that supply to the electrolysers to solar and to use some of the electricity they produce back in a loop to the actual electrolysers ?
Good question. I am no engineer, but if the EU are to help fund the transition and 300mw of power is switching to hydrogen then it must be a benefit.
Also Nel partner Hexagon Composites, Hexagon Agility also provide hydrogen storage solutions, which would be direct hydrogen supply to energy units as electricity ?
Either way, for me selling the units matters not necessarily the functioning details. I would leave that to the experts. With China US and India pumping so much CO2 out , the climate change issue is pretty murky to me. I am here to make money tbh.
One tip for investing in this swamp of snakes is follow the big money.
I note late after oslo closed NOK13 million buy went through. Since mid Dec and the slow fall of the sp big buys have been going through after close quite often.
NOK30M is the biggest so far as a buy.
Someone has the faith to buy NOK30M at around NOK13 is looking like a good pointer. Q4 results could drop any day now. That should give us all a better view of the next 6 months or so
I was gonna tweet nel and ask them, but maybe you know: 300 MW in electrolysers - where is the electricity coming from for that?
There was this Plan for a floating Island off the Coast, kitted out to Generate H2 using Wind...that's something else, i guess...
We're making progress on the #HySynergy #PtX-plant in Fredericia, Denmark ?????
Here you see the erection of the structural steelwork on the building that will house the electrolysers.
We look forward to producing green hydrogen later this year??

HUGE STRONG BUY but heck the market says down hydrogen goes. lol. Just makes it an easy buy.
Only flies are russia and April May inflation. It could still go lower yet ?
I do! Sure many others do, too! Very valuable insights..
Even the thread is a freebie from me as nobody else posts any new info.
Does nobody believe anything I post ... Wasting my time here.

Shame nel isn't supplying the Electrolysers to generate the H2 for the envisioned fuelling network...or have a missed something..
Oh , iwantthatone , there is a reply from nel, cheeky devils lol.
Congratulations on this very great milestone @nikolamotor ?? ?? ??. Is that a Nel ASA fueling station I see in the background ??.
I hope many of those are ready to be deployed in the USA @nelhydrogen @jonandrelokke @BearsWorkshop
Oh dear oh dear , I hope the small little carp company called nel hydrogen can cope with any type of questions on producing one or two electrolysers for that carp company called nikola corp FCEV !!!!
HAHAHA, iwantthatone, wonder just wonder if the CEO of NEL happened to mention at the opening of a 24 hour 7 day a week , FULLY AUTOMATED ELECTROLYSER FACTORY for ALKALINE ELECTROLYSERS ( afc now chasing as they look to try and figure out how to get in the game of alkaline electrolyser HAHAHA ) yeah 'that' factory that quote " will be shipping supplies to the 3 main clients in Q4 2021.
Clients being :-
NIKOLA CORP - 700 Fuelling stations $800m+
EVERFUEL ( TOYOTA wink wink ) - ALREADY SUPPLYING FROM THE FACTORY
&
IBEDROLA - €800 M contract and SUPPLY STARTED IN Q4 2021 !!!
Have wonder boys afc got a contract for €800m ?
This excludes the other 70+ deals that have been done for supply of units during 2022/23.
afc will still be thinking about alkaline electrolysers whilst NEL HYDROGEN will be actually CASHING IN.
Do good research invest and sit back. If your research is right buy the dips like I have, kerching.
By year end these cheap , small buys I have done will have mounted up.
Please DYOR ( proper ) research and try and understand A - how Nel stays under the radar but gains mega contracts B - the markets can still take your money even in the best companies.
Relax and breath Mr Major. Roasted totally iwantthatone.
"Well this just happened! Two of our #NikolaTreFCEV alphas took their first road trip from AZ to CA on a single fill with plenty of hydrogen to spare once we reached our destination. https://t.co/nZpowdm0Vz "
From the small little US company who need 700 hydrogen fuelling stations at a cost of US$800M +.
Tiddler of a contract ey iwnatthatone ?
