sorry that was my post - using a very old ID that comes up every now and again - my computer remembers what I have forgotten!
I think this is the most interesting video that the Reddit/Synairgen crew have posted links to recently. It is an interview with Davey Smith, who is global protocol co-chair of the Activ 2 study in the US and has a number roles at Univ of San Diego re public health, HIV, Hepatitis etc. The last 3 minutes of the video are signifiant for Syn and Sar where he explains that in the US they are looking at new, subtle therapeutics for Covid - including inhaled interferon which 'might' be useful as an anti-viral or (presumably used later) to tackle the 'inflammatory landscape' and drugs working on the Jak/Stat pathway which is Sareum's territory. I continue to suspect that Sar is a very manipulated stock - perhaps a PI crew P&Ding and also its own broker playing with the sp prior to consolidation and hopeful ii entry.

its spiked though m8,so a bit scarey, just incase,it's running out of steam

nice one tho,if you bought on that low
Starting to load up on this again. 93.7p is a very decent price and it appears confidence is pretty low. Does £1.25 to 1.35 beckon again? I guess the market shows little signs of a bounce right now but lets see. I would have liked a price in the 80's but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.
Trojan........CDL is looking good this week.....for a little gamble for recouping those losses.
Of course Synairgen could explode again any moment imho......GLA
and me...havin a mare of a year.
on the wild west
I have been buying Sareum on the assumption that someone (or a force of nature) has been lifting and crashing the sp. I've been buying the super lows. It shot up today. We are getting close to consolidation so I'm wondering if there's going to be a last, wild ride. Also wondering if consolidation can stabilize the sp.
Yes most stocks hitting lows. My avct holding decimated
I haven't been around long enough to answer that question! But everyone loses in casinos and they are all still there - so I guess a new crop of investors will keep turning up. Mobile phones and on-line trading platforms mean more retail investors than ever before. Kids at my brother's school spend their birthday money on crypto - endless terrible ads on YouTube inviting you to join some fella's trading program - there's some caffeine in the system, I think.
Makes you wonder that if people have literally lost 10 to 30% of their portfolios, will they gain them back by holding, trading etc. will the markets be the same again. I mean if you lost 30%, what would you buy with?
Japan still not recovered since 1989…
Wondering if ANIC will ever get pushed down close to 11p. Watching MITC in the US - and Eat Beyond Global in Canada - all cellular meat stocks are hit hard and in unloved phase. but I like this sector - although I don't expect really serious upside - assuming these companies are still standing - for years. Just watching and waiting for now.
Cheers T.
Bit anxious those Bloomberg types. I thought that fellow Peter Krauss - on about 13 minutes in - was to more my taste. He expected short-term volatility, hoped Ukraine would be contained (market rally at that point) - and then expected.Fed gradually nudging up rates...slowly and carefully.
1.10 mins in....an economist on the good and bad, world events wise/macro picture.
could be a topsy turvy year.lol.

** gold
Interesting article but they are talking recently IPO’d ventures not longstanding AIM plays. Sclp/REDX fall into the latter. Both have Redmile backing them and are not part of the US bubble. Both have £40mill + cash but the baby seems to get thrown out with the bath water. Understandable IMO.
Don’t get me wrong, I think adding the dips is a mistake and this includes pharma biotech, but residual value exists with Scancell, REDX and to a lesser extent Angle.
On the other hand buying in at a discount? Hmmm, maybe they have a little further to fall? No quick bounce backs me thinks. That goes beyond biotech also.
As I say good for me!
Pharma - I'll buy on the lows - in very small tranches - build up slowly and watch carefully.

Only gold or precious metals and real gold for me. UFO & GGP.
I can understand why people are selling pharma although I am not. It’s one of the first to get hammered. I’d expect 40% discounts of everything and most have already lost 30%! What happens if there is a market shock. Tim hat times.
sp on a low. I had these on a punt, sold them to get into HE1 - a good move at the time.
now...I think its time to do some quiet reading on scancell this weekend.
Newly listed on AIM. Seems to have a lot of interest especially from GGP quarters. Anything under 4p appears to be a good point for a sensible entry.
Gold/Copper play in the Paterson region. All the top posters seem to be keen. I expect this to be a good swing play at least.
ADV = Advanced Energy thanks 1509 :-)
Ah, I misunderstood! Apologies.
Not been following SNG to be honest for such a long while so take my view of the current situation with activ 3 etc as uninformed.
ATB
breaking news. "Covid isolation law could be scrapped in England this month".Interesting,so does this mean you no longer need a test?
Bojo, I wasn’t referring to CEPI. More the correlation between SNG001 and Paxlovid. All drugs in trials have a chance of failing as we know.
Yes. The worst case is that we lose nothing? Hope so anyway. Certainly makes me feel more relaxed. Maybe if we are lucky gold may do 30% or a tad more over the next year or so. I'd accept that to mitigate some losses on long term holds.
I definitely think so , just bought some physical gold last week and looking for square some stock positions to buy more soon. Generally buy tiny quantity with every stock profits and property investment as discipline .
