Whats your thinking Bojo. I am pretty hopeless with miners and so I tend to stay away. Saying that I am tempted with GGP. The only thing stopping me right now is that low ball offer for 5%, which would then set the valuation for their 25% interest as it stands.
Right now they have 4 million ounces in their resource, the question is that whether they will use this or will they update the resource estimate and use that for valuation. There has been no guidance from Company way or another, so its hard to say. Secondly the speculation is what $ per ounce will they pay, it could range from $90-$300 or more, someone more versed in mining share can perhaps comment on this. All I know is that with current mcap of around $800 million I make it that they need at least $160 million for the 5% to justify the current mcap and anything less then you might see the SP drop.
Seems like a buy to me but something does not add up. I have been adding at these levels (14p) and expect 22 to 24p later this year. By the time it actually starts mining I'd expect 40p.
Am I reading this wrong. I mean, I half expect a low ball offer from Newcrest and SD and a select few of his team to become part of a new department within that company. The holders on that board are so in love with the story that they don't want it to end that way and so are incapable of believing it.
Any thoughts and especially is it a buy???
I think John once suggested £1 for COPL. Possibly worth more now. Although this comp never seems to run in a straight line. I might just hold what I have for 12 months and ignore the immediate ups and downs.
I wish.... I was under water for quite a while and the Vox markets 20 for 20 inclusion started it moving. Then this came along to get me all the way back and more. From my trade review I think I captured about 60% of the move up and I'm good with that.
My reason for selling was not the oil, the board or anything like that. I saw a few large trades going through during yesterday and today that were clearly sales into strength. The 10% jump at the end caught me out but it could just have easily been a 10% capitulation like yesterday. I'm now 50% in cash in my various accounts and feeling more in control to move as I see fit which is a stark contrast from 2021.
No such thing as the perfect trade but well done for locking in profits. Sounds like you guys have read this pretty well.
I'd be interested to see what John thinks though
For what it's worth.... I sold 2/3 of what I had today to lock profit in then the price jumped 10% higher in the last part of the day!
Twitter is covered in COPL tweets and share charts talking about 40p which always makes me think that this is the share de jour and is being traded heavily by those tweeting.
I've still some in but I have a feeling it's going to get very choppy like BLU, BIDS and any of the other small caps that move violently. Whether it holds onto the gains in the short term is anyone's guess but the RNS was pretty stunning so who knows. I'll be trading the dips around the position I have in so I don't have FOMO (although selling then watching it jump was abit annoying).
Bought it back again this am. I am so weak re FOMO.
Still. It has gone up. Is COPL having a grown-up re-rate or just being pumped?
Markets spooked?
Anyone watching Beyond Meat? On a massive low - is there something wrong with the company or its governance? Anyone watching? Just noticed their burgers have turned up in my local Maccas. Research required!
Hi xviolet, I get that logic, but if people who don’t want to buy it would even buy it at that level, then it seems unlikely it will get there! Maybe in a flash crash or something.
Well my ARB price is because I don't want to buy ARB. But I would at that price. Perhaps 1 or 2 other posters here will have a more reasoned buy in price.
Thanks, that gives me an entry point if I take the ARB option.
Still watching for safer price on FAR.
Markets spooked a little today.
Dog copl was hoping for 40ish to get out from my logs from the 40's but dog never reached it.
Hope it does not drop for the rest of the week.
Hate these crooked f directors
I'm not mad keen on BTC. I have read BTC $200K+ by 2023.
I would buy small amount of ARB sub 56p to hold as long.
Dropped 10p, if it gets to 66p it’s time to top up!
I noticed that ARB isn't correlating well on the upside anymore.
The talk is that bitcoin is just another tech share and will correlate with the fall fall of nasdaq in 2022. Its course correcting leading upto feds raising interest rates and selling the asset purchases. Nasdaq is down close to 2% again today.
Its only a profit unless you bank it, well done on that xviolet.
Keep an eye out for NRXP in the next few weeks, its massive re-rate or bust.
Bitcoin below 40k
ARB dropped 20% in a week
Thoughts
EUA - there are so many on there with such religious zeal that I am beginning to think they might be paid to be there. 2 years on and there is no sign of a sale, goal posts keep getting changed to the promise of something even bigger. These are all classic warning signs. This is my view looking in from the outside.
Well done X! Can’t argue with profit large or small ;-)
I hold EUA and I'm definitely beginning to believe it is a giant scam.
Sold this morning. profit. yay.
I guess long-term its got more upside. But many have issues with company's mgmt. Which puts me off going back in.
Well done. Don't have a great record with Miners personally. Rarely get involved in them nowadays.
EUA and GGP are on my radar mainly because of the liquidity that they have. EUA, can't make head or tails if it is a giant scam and GGP not sure if mcap is actually too high already.
If this hits .88 I will bag 33%. Then buy it again when it drops ;-)
