Its people like you and mud that told us Tunis would never happen and now they're going through the process to get another 20 odd percent to give them 45% of steady production with tentative plans by the operator for growth there so don't think you can claim to be anything other than a stopped clock really can you kels?
No pawn we’ve been told for ages by newbies like msg that after AC met the president (probably the bloke who makes the tea for the president) that tilapia is definitely in the bag. It’s the people with way more experience that have been telling everyone else that with zen absolutely nothing is in the bag until it’s in the bag. We’ve seen too many £200k and more wasted over the years to think any differently...that’s always been the realists point here !!!
''Some of us have our pension pots resting on this."
if that's true, some of you need sectioning :-)
It didn't "take TW to expose a letter" mud you're just making that up. All investors on all small oil and gas plays know that nothings sorted on these licences til they're signed sealed and delivered.
Surprised you and tom don't know that. Holders here do.
Thankfully the $200k Tilapia licence is only one of zens plays.
Highlander47, you left AAOG nearly three years ago.
Why the animosity towards Zen and AC unless you are trying to put together a rival bid towards the licence tender yes/no?
Highlander47,
Don't blame #Zen for wanting to take this forward. I'm sure you would do the same if you had been given the opportunity.
You left AAOG nearly 3 years ago? It's in the past.
All this vitriol is just a sure fire way to a coronary. Let it go!
If you think the opportunity is so good why not just buy into Zen?
If you think it's really bad then why not just sit back and take pleasure if they fail?
There is no need to try to make them fail. That's just not cricket.
Some of us have our pension pots resting on this.
To be fair to Highlander AAOGs problems really began mid 2019 a second failed was fatal not helped by the congo government giving false promises of license renewal.
Pawn you are correct.....highlander is a senile old man sitting in his basement bitter at the world for being an absolute failure. Cant deal with the fact AC is finally bringing in good deals and actually starting to produce. Its quite sad really to see someone with so much hatred destroy himself.
Anyway I have put him on filter now as nothing he says is true just putting himself in a lot of potential legal worries.
Good luck to all genuine investors.....
Didn't fail? Thats a joke yes?
Have you forgotten already your big big promises of early production from 101 and 102 to quickly bring in cashflow?
Turned out to be a complete joke and just like with zen and the early failed workovers in azer you stopped reporting on them-wouldn't give an update at all and all your investors lost their shirts.
Hate to think what you consider failure if you don't recognise your errors back then.
Everyone else should watch that vid then re read your posts.
Steven lambet aka The Phantom menace
So how did he fail?
I’ve just watched this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iEPCOwGXAg
Alex MacDonald - Extract from his Linked in page:
"In 2017, he brought Anglo African Oil & gas to AIM, raising £10million to fund the acquisition of the Tilapia field in Congo Brazzaville."
Who is Highlander?
Highlander making blind assumptions and accusations as usual from his basement after failing as a director. So sad.
H47 where is the letter dated 4June available to read?
MG...I am a year out.. My mistake. Apologies.
Of course it had to do with aaog and the past, the past always colours the present. Some mud always sticks, would be no point throwing it otherwise.
Should note zen haven't stated in their last RNS on Tilapia that they'll definitely get it. In the media speculation section they speak of "in the event the offer is accepted" and later state "following the possible acceptance of the Offer we have submitted" so the poster who claimed they may get another licence close by as substitute may well be right imo which would be fine by me so long as its marketcap enhancing.
ie:
"Furthermore, as announced on July 7, 2020, we are currently working to submit a parallel offer in partnership with a local company for a second licence in the vicinity of Tilapia."
I might be a year out though...I see you wrote in 2018... Not 2019... Anyway just pointing it out..
MG you might want to double check who provided the rig to AAOG. According to the website OFFSHORE ENERGY article Nov. 12, 2019 it was SFP and not SMP as you say. SFP appears to be part of SNPC group. SMP is a different company.
And thereafter Zenith formed Zenith Congo,- that makes no sense, Highlander47
Can you explain that other than that the government in Congo wanted the licence out of the hands of anything that were directly connected with the name AAOG?
Who exactly is Highlander47,
Alex?
Certainly seems a lot of bad blood and dirty laundry being aired.
I was not impressed in the story of unpaid staff in Azerbaijan whether accurate or not, reminded me of the film War Dogs when they failed to pay worker in some former eastern bloc country for repackaging ammunition if my memory serves me rightly. Just look how that bought them down through means of revenge.
In this case it is reputation, anyone after revenge can just simply bring that up and the SP tanks.
The pressure is on Zen I hope they pull it off.
Unsure Mud I know he's got a ton of options but you'll have to check their A.Reports for the cash part of his remuneration.
UOG's 2019 no's..
Financial Results for 2019
As expected at this stage in the company's history with no cash flow from operations during 2019, the company made a loss for the year. This loss of $2,139,075 comprises administrative expenditure in support of the company's activities, exploration costs written off (principally the Colter well), and costs associated with new ventures and evaluating acquisition opportunities. The costs of our AIM listing, the Egypt acquisition including a Reverse Takeover process as well as the corporate expenses associated with being a listed company, were also included. etc etc
Same process as ZEN's going through is all.
No they weren't they were surviving on placings and prospects. They were suspended for some time when they bought into egypt and many investors wrote them off.
Right now they're producing 3k boepd not bopd but you were close at least.
Also - the point is that at this point in time Zenith are producing oil in Tunisia. That could change if the govt refuse to approve the license but at the moment the fact is that they are.
