This time I think we do need to pick a venue Philbatch. Vegas feels appropriate, but I am somewhat tired of the place.
Would say with a Saudi MSC, £1 is a probability, not a possibility.
LOL moving fast
Dibs.
We’re already at 15p.
Oh bloody hell if I had a fiver every time I’ve read about a ‘£1 party’ right across the AIM spectrum.
Let’s try and get 15p first and take it in steps
I've got a feeling it won't be long until WSG are awarded a decent sized managed services contract in Saudia Arabia so looking forward to getting an update on operations there. PF sounded very excited about it in the interview a few months ago.
'AT THE END OF OCTOBER RICHARD WILL BE LEADING A WESTMINSTER TEAM REVIEWING SECURITY AT ONE OF SAUDI’S LEADING PORTS.'
Two weeks before the closure of the tender application process. Looks very promising.
As per others below, I hope PF can give us an update on SA when Tema is announced - either in the RNS or on a Proactive interview.
Exciting times.
No apologies needed, just pointing out the tender that has now closed re the port. Jeddah is I believe the largest port, handling around 4.1m TEUs pa. Huge.
Apologies to have re-posted, I've been off the board for a while and not kept up to date with all the excellent research that gets posted up!
Smithers, Novice posted the link a week or so back - beneath it was also a tender for providing industrial security services in Jeddah Islamic port , which expired earlier this month. We also know we had an employee of Westminster Arabia reviewing security at a leading Saudi port at the end of October.
'Mr Richard Conlon has been appointed as Westminster’s Sales and Operations Manager for its Middle East subsidiary, Westminster Arabia, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Richard has a master’s degree in Business Continuity, Security and Emergency Management, he has 24 years’ experience in carrying out security consultancy projects and managing security projects, many of which have been in the Middle East. In recent years he has worked on a number of Middle East projects providing security consultancy to the Kuwait Security Programme, KSA Cassidian (Airbus) and KSA Etisalat Mobily. AT THE END OF OCTOBER RICHARD WILL BE LEADING A WESTMINSTER TEAM REVIEWING SECURITY AT ONE OF SAUDI’S LEADING PORTS.'
"Fowler added that there are currently 28 airports in Saudi Arabia handling 82mln passengers annually, while the Kingdom’s port infrastructure is unrivalled in the Gulf region with 11.000 ships and 8mln containers passing through every year.
Through its Saudi Vision 2030 Privatisation Programme, the Kingdom has committed to unlock the value in its state assets through privatisation, build-operate contracts and outsourcing in a programme that includes its ports and airports.
“We have already held joint meetings with both port and airport authorities within the country and further meetings are being organised,” Fowler added.

Boeing have predicted the middle east to be their biggest expansion market, with a requirement of 3000 new aircraft before 2035, valued at $745bn.
And this is just the aviation sector - the KSA port industry is equally very substantial.
Decent financials in Ghana may well provide us with a 50p - £1 tea party, but contracts and business in this region is how PF's retirement plan of £2+ a share will roll out,
