I'm afraid that I'm one of those people that invested in this company emotionally beleiving it was a product with great poential and that it would do good things for everyone, patients and investors. But I've lost £000's and £000's, so much that a bit more is not going to make that much difference so I think I'll stay with it and if one day it comes good then we can all raise a glass to VRP. "CHEERS"
Sold out myself due to this Rhodi losing a small fortune - still working due to this investment (my fault) and sold my last chance to make some of it back due to the cynical, shocking decision by the current scumb- g board to de-list.
The one great thing Intake with my are you and the other LTHs who have been brilliant over the last decade and sad we never made that pint. Should have listened to you and sold years ago
many holders had their investment eroded between 60 to 80 % of original value .I should imagine that they looked at the tax implications and thought fck em it is only another 15%. Probably realising that most investors will be happy to just get anywhere close to original money back. IMO they will do a MBO for nowhere near full value of share but hopefully they will get their come uppence. Pleased to be out. But wish you all well. Nasdaq holders would do well to see how shareholders have been treated here in the uk. They will get the same treatment. IMO they will be strung along nicely then hung out to dry.
My broker Interactive Investor stated that the conversion would be processed automatically but they are just showing as a sedol reference. Confused??
Something I hadn’t seen posted on this site which is worth mentioning for novices including myself. I just rang the share centre who explained that when we sell the shares on the Nasdaq we have to pay 15% American tax which is a pain for most of us who had the shares in an ISA. Effectively the day we leave the AIM, our shares are worth 15% less.
As has been mentioned before, shame on the management for doing this to shareholders who have been invested in this company for years and have brought the company to this point.
I've decided to stay with VRP and transfer my shares over to NASDAQ for the simple reason that VRP has got potential and now having been placed on the NASDAQ market it will get more exposure which I felt it was lacking on the AIM market.
Interesting, hope you succeed!!
Thunderoad, i did something i usually dont do but i bought into a miner UFO and i have doubled my money already, i took a risk and it has paid off wether i recoup all my money from vrp remains to be seen. UFO could present a multi bag opportunity in the same manner as EUA, metals are booming due to the world financial crisis and the printing of useless money and spectre of negative interest rates so i have taken a calculated risk.

If any hint of success gets out from our trail this could sky rocket.
Bewise, I feel sorry for you but totally understand your decision. I have lost so much money over the years on this share. Mentally I have written the money off assuming the shares are literally worthless but will transfer the shares in the hope it will soar but won’t be disappointed any more than I currently feel if they crashed as they’re only worth 1p old money now anyway. Can you enlighten us on your decision.
Have been invested with this outfit for quite a while but always had faith in this drug and it's capabilities even if not with the management. Jak and his team lined their pockets well whilst in charge, there was from memory some furore about a chap called Chris Ship who once on board would work wonders but this never seemed to happen. Our investment seems to have devalued year on year, must admit the only company to loose me more than this one is Mothercare so I will stick with it and hope that our change to the other side of the pond proves profitable in the future.
Best wishes guys, i have decided not to go to Nasdaq. I have been invested here more years than i care to remember and very disappointed this delisting has happened before C19 results. I still believe this will come good so the best of luck to those who are moving to Nasdaq. Take care.
No there's odd, showing my buy as a sell???
Just added another 2248 shares while they are down, expect them to bounce back once delisting is dealt with and ahead of Covid tests.
I wouldn't hang around though, end of day tomorrow is very last minute.
Based on everything they've told me that should be the case.
Would say no point making the account a stocks and shares ISA as they'll only be able to hold them in a standard account.
So if I set up an account with Halifax and purchase VRP by the end of play tomorrow the shares will get converted and be tradeable on their platform?
I had to sell last week because X-o don't deal in US shares.
Thanks
Halifax don't mess around. Emailed them W8-BEN form last night and email waiting for me this morning saying it's been processed and all set.
Said they would send forms but have not yet!
They really are poor all round. Do not use the share centre!
According to the trading team who I spoke to on Tuesday there’s nothing else I need to do. Returned the aforementioned form and that’s it. I assume you have asked for them to send you one.
Anything from the share centre yet?
Still converting? BH.

I keep checking here buddy, but they don't seem to be bothered to update it.
Would be good to know that they have at least finished recruiting, but don't expect we'll hear anything until results published.
