#Andy...buying your shares at a much higher price is probably why your angry at the BOD...remember they didnt tell you to buy at where ever you bought...charts tell you this
1.volume
2.price on diff time frames
3.strength of moves
4.trends(up.down,sideways )
5.support/resistance
from this you are doing what ? if you cant answer this then one should not be investing or trading
The only good thing is our BOD are nothing to do with CDT. So there is still a slim chance Conduit could multi bag and we could all claw some money back. That would however mean our incompetent and lazy BOD would have too sell at the right time if this happened.

showing a little strength may break the 0.16 confluence point ,eye on V ,indicators a little turning point ,pivots in place...lets see
If charts were ever right why would chartists tell everyone surely they'd keep quiet and cash in. But the fact is they are right sometimes and wrong most of the time and that's true of any prediction. It's just a belief system for people to hang on to like astrology. But with Vela more than a belief system is needed...what's needed is a BOD that knows what they are doing and to do it for their shareholders not themselves and their business buddies. The RNS about the years results was so rubbish that it failed to even register whereas in the past any RNS would have jerked thys share into a move. I've put this in my pile of shares that I don't expect any return on and I can see it just dropping jn value to the point they are bankrupted by their own ineptitude..£50000 spent to do nothing is nice work for someone. Terrible terrible company the BODs should be disbarred from running a company as they still take a wage...from what money?
Mcap - £2.324m
Value of investment & Cash - £5.35m
Currently valued at 43% of assets.
What we are seeing is the result of an inept BoD and company which is so poorly run its a joke. We all knew they would be selling other investments to pay themselves but we are also seeing them selling at lows and realising losses. ENSI for example has been sold as recently as this year for around 48p, their SP today is 73p. They had the opportunity to sell some CDT at over $5 and provide some much needed funds but they decided against that.
As ever, all hopes are pinned on CDT and they will continue to sell other investments for losses to pay themselves until (hopefully) CDT comes good.
Hopefully Chris Cooke has a plan while he accumulates shares.
All figures are at time of writing.
Cheers msuk, was about to ask for your opinion on this and you've already posted! Looks like 8 trading days we'll see action
Confluence point is where the intrest will be alerted ,cross od trend line and 21ema ,0.016 will be a poss entry point

A great day for Vela unreflected in the share price ( again).
Good RNS with further commitment from one of our larger holders.
Very good write up in STimes and great half year progress for Ensilica. The portfolio is now over 50% good or recovering businesses. With the news of a recent near sale/investment in the Vela business there is much to be positive about.
And with Mr Bloggs in “rehab” again then it is a better chat board to be part of.
Well if you have deep enough pockets buying these shares whilst priced at less than half the actual value of the true market cap probably makes sense. There's no debt attached
the mysterious mr cooke at it again huh? either he knows something we don't and sees some proper value at these levels or he's a madman with deep pockets. either way i wonder if the board ever squirm a little when they release these holdings rns's and remember that they don't own a single share between them?
just had a browse on the allenby capital website where our newly £50k better off advisors are based, interesting list of clients including some very familiar names https://www.allenbycapital.com/our-clients/ not that his means anything they're all just aim companies, i just thought i'd mention it now that we've been knocked back to friday's discussions due to joe's massive weekend ******. wonder what his next incarnation will be?
CC continuing to buy. Hopefully allays fears that this was attached to the failed talks?
personally i've got stuck in a pump and dump in this share :p but be patient, i personally think holding all the cdt shares was a good move. its still a **** show but at a heavy discount. if cdt goes 7 or 8 dollars we are laughing, but i won't be sticking around after that if it does happen. good luck all, enjoy the ride.
Why is it ok for Advisors to be paid in shares but not Directors?
Enjoy the weekend break from shares all you serious investors, all you manic moaners and even the trolls who have turned up. GLA.
So, £50,000 has been spent talking to Advisors about a £15m potential investment, but the person didn't have the funding to proceed. Forgive me, is that not the first question you ask?
I will be buying the reversal ...
You have a Inherited Metabolic Disorder? Are you drunk?
Why are you here?
Still here but there is more important thing in life then watching this company being run into the ground. Terrible RNS as we knew it would be. Continually selling existing investments at losses to pay for the terrible board to run this company down. CDT remains the only hope.
Look forward to the issuing of new shares to pay for the £50k they spent on advisors. Remind me what we are paying the BoD for again?
Hmmmmmmm
hands up who thought shortly after the CDT option was taken up and several million $ added to the company value we'd be hitting the all time low?
Think I’m at 5 years now and yes it’s uncomfortable but as you say the enterprise value increases and SP declines making it a great ‘value’ play for big investors.
Ha! Boom Boom!
Investment discussions started in May 23. Mr Cooke entered the scene with a TR1 in June.
Coincidence, what is his next move?
Not the best of updates, better off selling and recouping losses elsewhere
Plenty here have been waiting for 4 or 5 years, in some cases more, how much patience does it take? In that time we've only seen the sp dwindle away steadily whilst perversely the value of investments goes up. I wonder what could be the cause of that mismatch?
