2/4 weeks and all will become clear.
as a invester, i have a lot of confidence in sgsc ,sir prof evans and his team also jn with our 2million quid , mubadala and ukri investergating teams have not dived in with out scrupinizing the possible out come of this trial.

Good questions there. It is reported that SGS first came up with the idea of investigating AZD1656. Once Sir Chris become involved, he no doubt understood the potential and acquired the patents. I recall from the video interview the other week that he said he is always thinking in advance about how to market and commercialise the relevant drugs being trialed. Patent ownership allows him to manage this process. On the permissions front, I wonder if AZ physically had the substance on site and were required to be granted authorisation from MHRA before releasing it for the study.
Let me pose this question. The Igraine deal is to co-invest in all healthcare and life-science investment opportunities plus acquire 2% of EML. The consideration is £600k plus a further £500k of Igraine shares if the trial of the AZD1656 drug is successful. By my reckoning, that means EML valuation increases by £25m on trial success. There are other investors involved including Mubadala, UKRI, SGS and of course Vela. So, what % of the trial does EML own and can we then estimate potential commercialisation value?

not to mention why acker and edwards have sneaked in the back door with substantal investments,
2 very high profile investers who , on reputation do not back donkeys.
as i read the sgsc write up regarding the arcadia trial it states,
az agreed to provide the drug substance for the trial.
so , what i dont understand is, if prof evans owns the patant of azd 1656 why we had to have az's permission or provide drug substance ?
so that brings me to the question, when did evans aquire the patant and at what cost/conditions ?
next question,
why has the excalibur team,( who have personal investment in trial ) created igraine ,who also have personal investment,
along with 1 of the directors, who also have , (ore) discoverore plc, and yet again have investment in arcadia trials, via angelfish (igraine) ,
evans and the excalibur team have seemed to put a lot of work/money into this trial, also the big investers evans/sgsc have gone to with cap in hand,
the more i read between the lines, the more i convince myself this has the potential of being one of a life time investment,
on that note,

Maybe,something brewing
Brent Fitzpatrick is a Director of Low Wave Limited. Emails to Vela may be re-directed to his inbox and he has a general OOO notification from his company.
I emailed VELA to express some of these thoughts. just received an Out of Office replay from a "Low Wave Limited",
who i presume are the PR comany? Will relate back any info i get.
GLA!
Patience IS a virtue, though that was written in the 14th century i believe, just before the advent of 4G.
The groke, could not agree more. I am sure somebody involved in Vela could easily set up a social media for Vela. Move with the times or stay stuck in the past.
I think thats just it. Speculation can only go so far. Currently (well for a good few months) theres always hope something is "Going on in the Background". And i dont mean SGS. Thats just a piece of the puzzle. It must be a very big, busy background to not to afford ANY information or general updates. Aeristech announced a big collaboration last month, good business development with new U.S partner. Well on paper, we own some of that good news. It would have been proactive in my opinion to see at least a reference to that somewhere in the Vela setup, even a monthly "news" update on the website. Its the wall of silence that makes me feel uncomfortable. As i said, its not hard, JN could do it from his phone.
As the price dropped there have beem a number of reasonable buys but no sells! Unless something going on in the back ground?
Without sounding like a Deramper or being overally negative. When does the trust in JN start to diminish. When we are at 0.04 or 0.05. He has had 18 months, I expected a bit more than this by now. The KNB trade in and out was impressive to get a free ride. Apart from that we have the trial and lots of LTH, s. He has yet to put any of his own money in, unlike us.
Not remotely annoyed, have FULL trust in JN after AAA, am very patient. Have to be!
But as I can dial into my other investments and get a wealth of info from the marketing/social media - be they performing well or not, its a bit ironic that a company that is positioning itself to be at the forefront of innovation / tech cant manage a constant twitter feed. Surely not hard to keep people informed of relevant links and articles that we, and more importantly prospective investors would be enticed by.
I mean i cant talk, i can barely navigate the twitter website let alone tweet. But then i dont want folk in to invest in me....!
Looks like you are just better off investing in all Velas holdings off your own back. It seems that when our investments go up the SP of Vela goes down. I sense that I am not the only one getting a tad annoyed with the action here.
Before anyone starts saying about being patient and only invest what you can afford to lose, bore off.
We are every right to expect better from JN and the team. Their PR is not great at all. The poorly worded RNS suggesting we would hear something about the trial end of march has not helped at all.
Someone contacted Nigel Fitzpatrick about this very same issue and his response was something to the effect of "we don't do social media" - didn't come across well at all. Having said that, if it wasn't for James Normand - none of us would be here at all.
HOLD THE LINE!
Upcoming RNS(s) aside though, do folk thing JN and the Social Media feed/ general marketing setup could be a bit more proactive? We as the LTH's know alot about the setup but I sometimes feel Vela is not geting enough / any column inches which means when news surfaces it wont help the SP a as much as it could...?
Bid just dropped to 6
Joke
The market makers have really outdone themselves boring us to death with this share lol , bravo bravo...
Excuse the spelling mistakes, i just have a crap phone that makes words up :-D
You can follow the heard - basically look at companies though the day and any comapnies that have unusually high buying but no news released yet and buy some. I call it following the heard, it can be risky as your buying in on the 1 reason loads if other people are, I just assume they have done the research :-D currently I only have long term holds and fir them I do my own research as I plough more into long terms then I do with short terms / following the heard
Showing as a sell as usual ffs
Just bought a grands worth as a investor of course another 1.3 million to add to the pot!

I’ve been bored with the SP but now is not the time to be frustrated and certainly not sell.
MM’s will crumble to JN’s brilliance. It’s coming real soon.
I can now see why people are getting fed up. We have been in the same trading range forever. I am holding for trial results and have been holding since JN took over. How ever, we invest to make money and we certainly are not doing that now.
