I might be wrong but I think some of the smaller stuff was coming on the earlier side, although I think the larger stuff was coming later after payment. payment got delayed, the shipments then got pushed into the Corona virus window and that's where the doubt comes in for me.
positive is though that we had refurbed equipment that was able to some way towards the initial production so not at a total standstill.
IMO, there are too many 'what if's' at the moment. For the first time AP needs to stand up and tell us what the current situation is, so we can invest on current and accurate info.
I see Mr 5m has now turned seller.
I'm sure AP said in last podcast that some equipment was due end of January. Looking at sea freight times from China to Romania average seems to be 14-30 days.
ORT - where did you get china equipment on route statement from? Did vast RNS - I had been away.. if it did leave China, when did it leave?
T1 drawdown
- All BP equipment paid for and on route
ORT: thanks for the sanity.
mizman: re your 11.25, I think it's a possibility.
We shall see but I don't like the look of the chart atm.
ORT nice post ..best post of the wk..... at least what you ae saying makes sense..the people selling are not seeing the whole picture here
Yes, I see things differently.
- T1 drawdown
- All BP equipment paid for and on route (timings TBC but Coronavirus impact overhyped, no doubt has impacted globally so far but pretty sensationalist coverage IMO)
- JORC underway and further progressed
- Diamond negotiations progressing/ near finalised - take your pick he paper trail is there with plenty of comments from ZCDC
As for sp lower the surely that’s a de-risked entry? Also not sure why you are having kittens over Atlas conversion. They can’t flood the market with shares, look at the T&Cs announced, and the conversion price is based at 0.24p... Also JORC as others have noted will allow for refinancing.
Storm in a teacup
Sonic - might have been the original reason but obviously other things have come up since that we don't know the reason for. Anyhow can't be any easy job.
Xcoder,
One of the issues seems to be no ones believes a word AP says anymore. Sure he is a good deal maker but if you based your investment on his words you would be well out of pocket over his tenure - that's a big issue when he is the CEO!
Remember BP has already been covertly delayed. H1 now for full production. Diamonds , well Ill say no more but a 5 month delay because we all missed out meeting by a day, is tripe as we can see now.
A great point mizman, certainly the grades in the recent tweets looked exceptional, with a JORC in hand, I am sure that funders would be queuing up to provide debt funding on far better terms than previous. All the LTHs know that the recent funding we took was to get things moving so as to enable us to repay from op cash-flow or refinance on better terms.
Why do we think VAST have been steamrolling the JORC? I think T1 will be repaid in H1 with conventional debt funding from Swiss Tony.
The JORC is that good IMO.
Sonic - not saying there aren't risks but just saying let's give it a bit more time. You never know diamonds news might land tomorrow!
Concern with the funding xcoder is it has to be paid back. If it isn't, we are looking down the barrel of a gun. That's the way I see it. Diamonds aren't coming yet and BP wont be at full production in H1.
More timelines to be missed IMO and this time they are critical ones.
Seems a bit early to be panicking. They only just got the funding a few weeks ago. Let's see how the next few months go.
ORT,
Id say one month on we are in a worse position personally. SP lower, one month closer to Atlas payback with more probability we wont pay it back, just like Mecuria, we wont hear how bad the situation is until after.
But that my take on it, others will disagree and that's fair comment.
As for shorting, can you short VAST?
true robbo...AP doesnt seem to do calming words though......perhaps its imminent
each to his own.....small caps on Aim are all risk...its the risk reward that hooks us.........
these co's always seem to have one to many plates spinning..........dont see much point selling at these levels unless you think they're going bust......... and i dont see that....yet
Anyone who has read these boards for the past 6 months knows by now that sonic is shorting Vast.... you will all know when he has loaded up again.. he will be pushing Vast like the best thing since slice bread..... no one in their right mind should take any notice of him... he will lose you money
Haha if this is your version of ‘well clear’ I’d be interested to see what ‘all over it’ looks like.
Matt my previous point was that you’re position talking and that when the price moves to your target price level you’ll only start focusing on the short term upside and none of the downside.
Anyone who thinks Vast isn’t a risky investment needs their head checking. However is it riskier than 1 month ago? Errrrr no.
Agree case logic definitely got potential here in the medium/long term but with the financing I think youll find AP took another risk and one the by the delay on the diamond MoA and shipping of equipment for BP may end backfiring.
Personally, and its only my opinion. Im standing well clear of the blow back from it.
seems pretty easy running a mining co from behind a keyboard.......been here a while and while unimpressed with AP i still think Vast has real potential, so i will hold for a while longer...cash is always the problem for Aim co's...........
as for the diamonds........what can one say........lucy in the sky, pie in the sky.........no idea whats going on, fairly typical for Aim pi....
