Penguins - genuine question - is it feasible that ANGS may farm into Loxley by using some of that money they've just raised ;-)
GLSR
It's looking just as dodgy as it did when Godley Bridge 2 and 2z were drilled and found no gas, and as dodgy as when Xodus wouldn't even calculate the GIIP from UKOG's map in the 2018 CPR. They instead calculated it in a study in 2020 and applied an industry norm for recoveries.
Still - 'in a success case'.......which is something that has eluded UKOG since the heady days of HH-1 - except even that hasn't delivered as UKOG claimed it would.
When approval drops (assuming it does in the next week or so) it just means they will need to raise millions to drill it unless they get a farm in - ànd still need millions, just fewer.
Six million households could face blackouts this winter because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, ministers have been warned, as they look to bolster electricity supplies by prolonging the life of coal and nuclear power stations.
The Times has been told that the government’s “reasonable” worst-case scenario, which has been drawn up by officials from across Whitehall, says that there could be widespread gas shortages if Russia goes further in cutting off supplies to the EU. (from an article in the Times released yesterday evening)

Another quote from advfn board…
“The 48 sq km Loxley geological structure contains materially significant gas volumes, which in a success case of around 4-5 bcf/year, on an energy equivalent basis, could have the capacity to power around 200,000 homes per year. Loxley gas field is huge in comparison to the size of this small company. The approval of Loxley field will have a massive effect on the share price. A rise between 0.5p to 1.0p is achievable just on the approval alone.“
I think you are missing the point, the vocal minority have been outvoted, the silent majority care about what’s left in their back pocket once the bills have been paid, oh and they don’t like being held to ransom by a tinpot dictator.
Good luck with that. They haven't even raised another 1000 names to the petition in the last 2 months. Still stuck below 17,000 names.
I think you are wrong on that point. A recent poll has suggested the majority would now support fracking in the uk, if it brought down energy costs, the shout for fracking will only get louder over the coming months.
"dou mean you hope the ukog gov doesn’t fund UKOG"
The Govt will not fund ANY oil company - it would be electoral suicide
They will not fund a company who wants to annoy their core voters and funders in S England
They will not fund an insignificant AIM oiler
"Why does Skwizz keep finding story's that are over a year old to promote , "
becasuealmost nothing has happened inteh last 12 months?
Turkey - no
Loxley - no
BBr - no
HH - falling production
new ventures - no
production guidance - no
management interview - no
Why does Skwizz keep finding story's that are over a year old to promote , must be desperate to keep looking for dirt...most sane investors wait for news then take action or not why keep looking for negatives .. try being a bit more optimistic or fe.k off
Mirasol, you mean you hope the ukog gov doesn’t fund UKOG surely, or do you have a hotline to Boris’s office? Are the #ukog Twitter rumours about you true?
Lol
They do keep trying.

"The Horse Hill production site in Surrey has cut its planned capacity for crude oil storage by more than 80%."
HH1AN2,
'Loxley and the rest of ukogs assets could be very good just need permissions the know how and the money to bring it about'
That's what SS hopes, but I could bemextremely rich - I just need a winning lottery ticket.
But it won't be know how that makes a difference - either the gas is there, and in sufficient quantity or it isn't.
But the money to find out is, like all previous cash raises, likely to be raised by issuing more shares..
"UKOG's 100 barrels a day "
We should be so lucky - it was 60 bopd 3 months ago
"Followed by Government Funding. Gla."
ian - the Govt are raiding the oild companies for £ 9 BILLION - they aren't going to fund UKOG
Followed by Government Funding. Gla.
Are you doubting the abilities of The Dear Leader?
Loxley and the rest of ukogs assets could be very good just need permissions the know how and the money to bring it about
The statement that uk needs oil and gas, is absolutely true but to then follow up with uk needs ukog, well that’s a complete falsification, ukog supplies a drip in the ocean compared to the uk needs, and even with all the best scenarios in favour of ukog, it’s still a drip compared to what ukog needs…
Maximum of 5 trading days until Tuesday, 7th June.
Of course it does - how else can the country consume 1.2m barrels a day? UKOG's 100 barrels a day are clearly of national insignificance.
Not long to wait now.... No amount of de ramping misery, will effect the case that the UK needs OIL and GAS... UK needs UKOG...
