@Raj34 - what’s the spread you noob, and how much has the SP fallen in value in the past 3,6,12 months, and how much money has crimson slacks hoovered up from noobs like you?
@Raj34 - are you smoking something bro’?
Rise into weekend? You’ve got more chance of getting a rise out of an emasculated eunuch . . .
Ocelot,
it doesn't matter how keen a backer, partners or even investors are for a well to be a success, the 'geology' decides that aspect.
If AME was that concerned about the location of a well they weren't paying for because their backers were getting nervous they should have made it clear to UKOG that the process should be shoot seismic then drill the well if that was worth while, but is the seismic so poor that it's hit or miss anyway? In the GM notice it seems the existing 2D seismic had been reprocessed to define the location:-
'The company has contributed its share of Basur-3 site construction costs, long lead well equipment and all 2D seismic reprocessing costs necessary to define the Basur-3 drilling location and well plan.'
Perhaps the reason to drill first was that if UKOG had to pay the $1.5mm (+ processing and contingencies) for the seismic before drilling the money would have run out and a cash raise would be needed before spudding the well - it would also have been clear the well wouldn't be drilled last year as suggested in the 23/7/20 RNS.
Also in the GM notice:- ....'(drilling $3.5 million, seismic $1.5 million) excluding coring, post well analyses, seismic processing and drill and seismic related contingencies.'
Exploration seems to know what he is talking about re oil exploration in Turkey.
I noted from one of his recent posts that he reckons AME's principal investor will be keen to see Basur-3 become a success.
There are 2 partners involved and both want to make a success of Basur-3 - as ever, we shall see, but they will both be taking their time to interpret the seismic data once obtained.
Thanks, Ibug, thought I had heard it somewhere, didn't realise it went back quite so far!

Ninetails,
My opinion became strong buy in early April of this year.
My opinion is what it says it is, my opinion.
Ocelot...At any given time, the share needs to be assessed on the basis of its current price and prospects. And you have been doing that for over 2 years and recommending strong buy... as the price continually dropped??
Raj34:Cheap as chips :)
Take heed of this persons posts at your peril...you have been warned.
Whoops - should have been "buy" not "strong buy"!
Cornsland,
If you have lost thousands of £s over the years, it's because the share price has come down a long way from the level at which you bought.
Those buying in now are, therefore, not taking the same risks as you did back then.
At any given time, the share needs to be assessed on the basis of its current price and prospects.
Investor. Another idiot saying STRONG BUY. Why are you still trying to con people into buying into this piece of C***. Be honest, who pays you, or what is your ulterior motive. And yes, I am heavily invested here, and over the years I have lost thousands of £’s. I was sucked in years ago on the Gatwick Gusher. There’s no fool like an old fool, this is why your strong buy rubbish incenses me.
lol...lol.... UK needs Oil and Gas.... UKOG has a STRONG Future with as very STRONG SP... imo
