"Everyone knows the de rampers blatantly lie"
and that's 10p talking folks........................... :))))))))))))))
Argus.
Everyone knows the de rampers blatantly lie I wouldn't concern yourself with them I dont. Some of the figures I'm seeing ref has are huge and agree with some of the information on values that are coming our way UU
Seadoc, you still have not accounted for how that £11 million still existed at that time, after you so erroneously claimed it had all been spent "just to keep the lights on", but the accounts published only a few days later proved you completely wrong. You did repeatedly pretend that you would prove it had been spent as you had claimed "just to keep the lights on" but never did. Your "calculations" were always wrong.
Just like then facts were of little interest.
We all know it was just part of your misleading agenda.
Gentlemen
The whole point of the Nutech & Schlumberger reports is that they are talking about IN PLACE resources - they never mentioned recoverable rates or volumes. Nether did XODUS in their various reports AFAIK
Messrs Sanderson and his Australian boss also were quite careful to use the words in-place although they didn't emphasis the fact. This has been done before by others (see Avington). No-one lied but a lot of people went down the garden path quite willingly
The average punter doesn't hear, doesn't want to hear and if they do they don't understand the difference between recoverable and in-place.
The EWT was to test the viability of the Kimm amongst other things. The fact it has never been mentioned in months allows us to draw our own, unscientific conclusions.........
There is still a lot of oil down there - the problem is it looks very very difficult to get it out in commercial volumes and a reasonable price
SS was repeating the claim that was made by Nutech and Schlumberger of 100bn and 124bn barrels OIP in their respective reports about the Weald which had only recently before been published, and hence the media interest.
By stating that SS, restating the Nutech and Schlumberger findings, had made it all up and was lying you are also saying that the Nutech and Schlumberger reports in which those figures originate were both lying. Or are you saying you were unaware of those reports, available to all investors on the Ukog website.
Claiming SS was lying means that Nutech and Sclumberger must also be lying.
May be it would be prudent for you to research the reports before making further accusations.
I don't understand why you are bothering to argue.
My posts only refer to Trousers.
You introduced Schlumberger and Nutech to try and substantiate your own post, which was already incorrect.
I only stated that Trousers claimed he had discovered billions of barrels of oil and subsequently denied it, saying there was only "up to 100million".
He even tried to blame the higher figure the media quoted on the media.
So let me ask you:
As evidenced, Trousers now claims there are only "up to 100M barrels" and denies ever saying "50-100Bn" (which the film also disproves).
You've brought up Nutech and Schlumberger's reports of 50 to 100Bn barrels.
So are you calling N&T liars, Trousers a liar, or suggesting that Trousers is calling N&T liars?
To be clear, and to try and go some way toward answering what I think you asked, I only referred to what Trousers said and claimed, and was filmed saying.
Other than 'Lenny', potentially making the original claim, and 'Trump', because he tried to blame it on somebody else, I do not believe I referred to anybody else.
I can't answer anything else in your question, as you've really invented and introduced your own scenario and then asked me to respond to it.
Which I can't, as I wasn't involved in it.
:D
Skwizz,
Mon 18:23"Btw, I believe it may have been Lenigas who started this claim.
Nevertheless it was made by Trousers and then denied only weeks later."
Mon 11:25 "There is video of Trousers claiming a find of over 100Bn barrels of oil at Horsehill...."
The claim was made by Nutech and Schlumberger, world leading oil field analyst, they indeed officially reported that there is 100Bn/124Bn barrels in the Weald. The reports and OIP are in the RNS's and can also be viewed on the Ukog website if you have any interest in facts as opposed to joining in the insults and misinformation.
SS repeated those reports findings. Are you claiming he was lying, or are you claiming Nutech and Schlumberger were lying?
Do you ave you a link to the information that Nutech and Schlumberger have back tracked or did you just make it up.

Skwizz, can you give a link to your claim that Nutech and Schlumberger, World renowned oilfield analysts, have back tracked on their claims of 100bn and 120 bn barrels OIP in the Weald. You seem very sure of your claim that they lied but I have been unable to find any documentation to support your accusations.

No idea how to begin responding to this, as a claim you've linked to me is not something I ever said.
My posts are still here, in this thread, so you can refer back to them if you wish.
I referred to Trousers claim and subsequent denial (and "Lenny", by way of possible explanation).
All the info is in the links provided, from Trousers own mouth.
:)
From "50Bn to 100Bn" down to "up to 200M" and "provides us good cashflow to fund other things".
So many quaint forward projections back then.

Not a lot to say after that.

"Btw, I believe it may have been Lenigas who started this claim."
Who else?
TBF I don't think that the BBC were ever able to prove that SS said what they claim he said ......... certainly they never had it tape IIRC
No point in living in the past it's gone,it's today and tomorrow that counts now,And what happens from here, and it's gas ,Turkey and what might be retrieved from here, there always a new horizon out there in the blue,so go for it Steve, and good luck to you.
Btw, I believe it may have been Lenigas who started this claim.
Nevertheless it was made by Trousers and then denied only weeks later.
A BBC reporter remembered the claim being made and back-traced it to a one of their earlier reports, after he denied making it, and it has come to light elsewhere since.
Embarrassing and not a little ironic, Argus.
Here is the link to an article about Trousers claim and subsequent backtracking.
In?

Maybe complete some of the irons in the fire
before putting more in..
This is an excellent title for a thread and says it all. SS told us the train was leaving the station and we would have oil of National Significance. Thereafter eyewatering dilution to fund his salary. With planning meeting delayed until end of October he needs another spike for a placing. We now get gas news and surprise no one is biting. You just know that the 4 letter word is just gagging to do a placing. No integrity = No investor confidence. The sad thing is he may now be telling the truth. Its like the boy who cried wolf. But if he suddenly bought £100,000 worth of shares it would be a different matter. FAT chance!

I am here because I actually think it is still there and that its a mission to get it out especially on an Horizontal.
That's why they haven't risked driving an horizontal at HH in the kimmeridge yet . I said years ago I will wait until they figure it out or in twenty years time the frack the crap out of it because every barrel will be needed.
Seems also water a risk as with most exploration but maybe more so with all these Synclines ,Anticlines and reverse faults all over the place causing oil as well some times not to be mature enough to flow
Lets see how Angus get on if it wasn't any good they would have upped sticks and left
UU
What embarrassing and ill informed BS.
The claim of 124 Bn barrels of OIP in the Weald was made by Nutech.
"US-based Nutech Ltd ("Nutech"), one of the world's leading companies in petrophysical analysis and reservoir intelligence"
"Table 1 - Nutech Calculated Jurassic Tight Oil OIP Under UKOG Licence Areas and Wider Weald Basin (BBO)
Weald Basin AOI 2 (1,261 sq. miles)
Gross OIP (BBO) P50 Best 124.3"
What a disgrace that some posters are casting insults and false accusations because they have not bothered to read, or are ignoring inconvenient facts that contradict their agenda, in the relevant reports or RNS's.
The Nutech findings increased the OIP from the similar but slightly lower calculations by the other worldwide leading oil field analysis company, Schlumberger.
What embarrassing and ill-informed BS!
There is video of Trousers claiming a find of over 100Bn barrels of oil at Horsehill and then denying it months later.
As far as I'm aware, he has never linked to his service record in relation to UKOG.
Had he done so he would have disgraced it!
As a Para Officer, our CEO would regard lying as repugnant---lets hear no more on that subject.
No, read between the lines, the Weald is an historical oil field, drilled by many companies over some thirty/forty years, and while the Kimmeridge held promise, faults in the ground leading to water ingress has curtailed a full realization of it`s full potential.
Still a good earner, but not great, so this RNS on the gas find--- will be ----great.
As for investing, too many traders will bump this up and down for some time yet,I
I will stick with my nominal holding (1.2p) for now.
