Pboo: No,I’m referring to the apology may by the operator to the residents for the smoke after the Perf of the bottom zone. I’m sure that when the oil flow report come out, you will be not visible here, but sulking on your pumped share. The only person trolling this board is yourself who is not invested here, pumping another share and bashing this one.
Tyche---You may have seen my post earlier to Pboo asking why he kept posting on here when not invested. I did not get an answer from that part of my post. My feeling is he is here to try and disrupt and put doubts in peoplesminds. never have a lot of time for thos whose glass is always half empty!! GL matey
Not to worry or be concerned the facts remain the same for the medium term investor. Have a look now and again to what DB and SS have to say. Double your money from here within the next few weeks and look for another uplift on confirmation of Wressle on 5 November
I think Storage is already in the pipe line see part of RNS Below and swampy was upset it pass with only one against ha ha. Given the uncertainty of the hydrocarbon composition, and to ensure that Rathlin has the appropriate consents in place, an application has been submitted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council for a Hazardous Substances Consent which would allow for the storage of up to 199 tonnes of crude oil which falls in category P5b.
The Hazardous Substances Consent would not be required if controlled quantity thresholds are not exceeded. This is 50 tonnes for oil with a composition classified within category P5b.
During the well test, any gas flowed to surface will be incinerated onsite in an enclosed burner and any produced oil will be transported by a licenced haulier to a local refinery.
Pboo: Quote: Only going on what the companies RNS's says. Entirley correct regarding the Upper GAS play, which has not been tested as yet. RNS Number : 9966J Union Jack Oil PLC 23 August 2019 "The flow testing of the WNA-2 well commenced earlier today. "The well test programme is scheduled to continue for the next 4-8 weeks. "The necessary regulatory permissions and consents are in place for this test. "Additional information regarding the test programme will be made available once the relevant data has been collected and analysed." And immediatly shut in on the flow of oil from the lower play which was flared off with its Gas, hence the Black smoke for nearly a day. Why? Planning agreements were not in place for Oil Storage or processing which required a major rejigg of the EWT testing process and resources to manage the output of the testing safely and to preserve value contained in the output.
"Prior to the drilling of the West Newton A-2 well, a Competent Person`s Report compiled by Deloitte, had a Best Estimate Contingent Resource of 189 Bcf of gas equivalent. Volume expectations will initially be updated following further core and log analysis, then again following the extended well test."
I agree it will "Gush" in a controlled manner dependent on choke sizes and well PSI, but only for an 8 week period from this well. This site has no ongoing production permission, that has been given for the B site. However this test site will put a massive for sale sign on the this field and pssibly the entire PSA. The real money makers will be the first Production well for oil and the second for Gas. Oil is far easier to monitise than Gas.
Pboo you seem to have forgotten there are two separate zone to test, the known Gas play which had a 72% COS and the deeper play with a 25% COS with the expectation of Gas and or Condensate. Wire logging has given the information regarding the lower play as 20 M of Gas baring and 45M of oil bearing zones. The JV has only perfed the bottom zone, and in the process flared off Gas and Oil and then it shut it in needing to redesign the EWT design and ask for more storage over the 199 Ton granted this week. The upper Gas play has not been tested as yet and wont until the last 2 weeks of the EWT testing.
Pboo--Whilst I respect your right to post where you like, I , lik some other, do find it strange that you keep posting on here if you are not invested. I now do not post on UKOG I cannot see the point in keep posting negative posts on a site you really have no interest??
Looks like the fool has been reading up on weatherfords raptor 2.0.
At the end of the day its not flow rates but how much proven recoverable reserves you can get out is how valuations are worked out, and at what cost. West newton is massive and onshore oil is cheap to extract when.
“Our new Raptor 2.0 system helps clients look behind the casing to identify the type, location and amount of hydrocarbons in their reservoir, so they can realise the full potential value of their asset.”
WN A1 well encountering high pressure and a large gas discovery, WN A2 with 15% porosity, good permeability, naturally fractured formation, 20m gas and 45m oil zone, its massive and free flowing!
Found it! It was "gonzalez5000" I really am sorry for your loss in SXX, yes the Yorkshire moors ARE full of potash. You are not allowed to extract it though. UJO have a license to extract SO MUCH OIL I have ran out of fingers haha! Ginge, Viva UJO. X
