gdog is quite right.
Basic rules of (elastic) supply and demand dictate that the market price rises if demand is greater than the supply.
Private investors can therefore have a huge influence.
For jrise to suggest that there is not enough 'float' is counter-intuitive.
I do know the difference between "or" and "are", which isn't apparent in my below post.
I have a horrible habit of proofing after I click "send", or "reply", whatever. Some people never learn.
JR,
I disagree about the PIs moving the stock. With such a small amount of the float not in the hands of institutions, the PIs would put more pressure on the up or downside if they were to buy are sell. The fact that there is not much supply causes there to be a greater effect on the price due to demand or lack of demand.
Gdog,
PIs of all sorts make up less than 15%. I have said this many times. The top 7 IIs hold over 70 % and are in touch with the management (as acknowledged by Ofer that they keep in touch with main stakeholders). Excluding the company's staff holding, not much float left!
We both arrive at the same conclusion via different routes.
Ergo PIs cannot affect the SP.
Actually nor can a nasdaq listing as there isn't enough float!
You need to liberate enough stock from tosca, their mate schoder, and mithaq to have any meaningful effect.
Not happening soon! LOL
Hang on to their coattails and get rich is our only option (or get out!)

Hey jr,
Fingers crossed you quadruple your Money.
Note: I always capitalize the "M" in Money to show proper respect to the deity. Same with Cash, Dough, etc.
As far as trading difficulties, I imagine the institutional investors would not put up with the rubbish with which the PIs are forced to put up. Then again, I've not a clue. Still, I find it hard to believe. It's a train wreck of a system for me.
Here's what I found about holders. I've no idea how accurate this is, but I still cannot imagine why this issue trades as low as it trades based on our fundamentals and prospects. Seems to me, if the below numbers are close to accurate, there're not a lot of PIs in with us.

Hi Gdog,
Just catching up with your post.
I am delighted for you as you are in the money! Long may it last! I have a long way to go (nearer£5) but will get there.
I take the trading difficulties only applies to PIs and not IIs?
GL with your holdings!

Hey jr,
I wrote my 18:23hr post without having seen your 18:13hr post. I own enough, relative to my overall portfolio, to the point it keeps me very interested. It's all relative. A dollar to me is a penny to many.
Gdog,
Thanks for the reply. I did get most of your problems from your previous posts. Aim is not meant to be an international exchange. In spite of most rumors, there are not that many problems dealing if you are in uk. There are some quite large companies quoted there because its cheap and flexible. As they say, you can't have it all!
It is nice to see some interest from someone on the west coast who deals in spite of the problems.
I don't know how much you hold or at what average, but I wish you all the best!
JR
Hey jr,
Thanks.
Seems to me the AIM is quite the predator, especially from where I sit. I've never had the troubles I have now buying on the AIM. It is incredible how effed up it is for me in the States. I used to have accounts at Bank Vontobel, where we could trade the AIM easily. Due to all the problematic U.S.- foreign bank account reporting rules, I moved my main "off shore" account back to the States, only keeping two in Spain.
Still, I follow how the stock trades each and every day, and it is remarkable how illiquid it is, even for you guys.
But the fact is, I came into this realizing where we trade. To be honest, I feel we may become big to the point where we'll have to move to a decent exchange, one that is more liquid, with smaller spreads and true price discovery.
As I've mentioned a few times, I can only buy or sell during these strange auctions held several times during the day. The auctions show up as the "Uncrossed Trades" (UT) we see to the far right of the "TRMR Share Trades" page. I wanna play, so I gotta pay.
Gdog,
I like reading your posts.
Aim is there for a reason, it shelters the minnows like the mangrove swamps. Not the nicest places but the predators can't get to you easily.
JR
Hey Crusty,
There is more than hope. This is darn good progress, and I feel we've a winner on our hands.
Of course it doesn't matter one bit what I feel, but I would not have gotten back into the blinkx mess without huge changes. This is a different company, and I am betting we'll do very well over the next year to the next few years.
Not to mention, relative to companies in our sector whose stocks trade on the NASDAQ, we're significantly undervalued. Management knows this; they talked about it during the CC on 24 September. I wish they'd do something about it. The AIM is a total cluster-fvkk. It is a disaster of an exchange.
So Glad I have the toss pot filtered. In all the time I had it unfiltered I remember 1 solitary post where there was anything remotely positive. What a sad life and existence. Very good update, there is hope yet.
STT get back under your rock, you filthy piece of scum.
