Canary you think the vaccine will stem the economic fall out from the last 9 months plus a no deal brexit from the blond buffoon you are very sadly mistaken or completely burying your head in the sand.
Super,
It was one of my main concerns aswell, that's why I've asked a few times.
The topic should be put to bed on this forum now.
Again as outlined in the CMD from now on any sale asset disposal will be value accretive (that means it increases our net worth) or it won't be. Still very anoyed with Les Wood, those 575 million $ that made him feel comfortable cost us a bloody fortune! I want his resignation!! And I will be asking for his resignation as soon as oil hits 70$ per barrel!!!
Davstock, on numerous occasions now you got reassurance from Tlw about a rights issue so thanks for that as it was at one point my biggest fear. Anybody raising this again will have alterior motives. Looks like a slow elongated recovery given the market reaction to CMD although it might be too soon to write off a re-rating given the improved outlook. Interested to hear "no urgency" for another sale - possibly for the benefit of unsolicited approaches in the last number of months. Hope it can keep back into the 30's initially and move up from there.
I'm solely talking about Tullows business plan?
Not sure where you are getting a 300 year global depression from? When most see a slow but steady recovery when the vaccines kicks in.
Oil demand from this point on can only increase from the levels it is at just now!
Even a very slow recovery would a mean an increase.
What has a Ghanian oil company have anything to do with Brexit??
The UK can sink for all I care but that won't affect oil markets an iota.
Which innminent global depression are you talking about??
Vaccines are coming.
You did not mention the imminent global depression davstock
You are clearly are not understanding my viewpoint. Brent will be way over 50 next week and tlw will go with it.
I am trying to get some to exercise caution if they are fully exposed.
Have a good weekend all
The self funding was layed out on CMD, with the new slimmed down business going forward, $45 oil average over 2021 and $55's over the coming years will fund the business with enough profit to pay down debt and reward investors. It's very straightforward and transparent for all to see and understand.
I've asked Tullow on several occasions about a rights issue and I asked again on Wednesday straight after the presentation and they made it quite clear that they don't need to do a RI and have no plans to!
So with a 100% certainly there is no rights issue in their plan!
RBL loan is not max out, they have in consideration the 2022 bond maturies, without the bond maturities they will gladly increase their lending facilities in a similar amount.
You only wish for the SP to go down so you can buy back in, don't daytrade you are going to end up losing money and if you are going to daytrade at least don't give us a headacke, too many people invest on outlook the share in undervalued and outlook is positive not negative we are 85% down from last year prices and I am not going to sell. Stick to your daytrading if that's your thing but don't try to manipulate other so you buy back in one of your manic depressive swings.
Each to their own and have a nice day :-)
RBL loan maxed out, brexit looming, COVID fall out it’s all very well predicting future profits but we are heading into a Global depression not seen for over 300 years. You have to brave or .... not to acknowledge that a RI is a distinct possibility.
Is Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and to remove all doubt
No, that's not it, self-funded means it is paid with the profits of the business. Do you understand what is capital intensive? That means you reinvest the profits in the business. Self funded doesn't mean a rights issue that is external funding just like loans external.
Self explanatory canary yes a rights issue that’s the concern
"what exactly self funded consists of?"
lol is self explantory
2.7 billion of further investment to be self funded. The shorts will be all over this until clarity is given on what exactly self funded consists of.
Going to be an interesting 3-6 months with the volatility.
It is risky for shorters, a corporation produce earnings over time, the longer they hold their short positions the higher the expected value they will have to pay for shorting the shares (earnings produce dividends and any increase in the equity will eventually be reflected in the SP)
'alpha-males back slapping millionaires' club here'
I guess a few well funded shorts/ wealth management firms work together to play the PI's until the II's arrive?
So long as its at 'arms length' it wouldn't be illegal ie some element of risk.
Just follow the money?
Nickeroo
This board is for everyone so please keep posting and just ignore those who believe they own the board.Good luck and God Bless
Nickeroo, you actually registered last week on the 18th, but feel free to give us your thoughts anyway.
PG, I registered this week. Everyone has to start somewhere. The hostility in this website to anyone who dares voice an vaguely negative opinion is unreal. As if my single post is going to affect anything.
All I was doing was expressing my own thoughts, and at best hoping for some considered rebuttal to my thoughts, hoping to hear things from a more experienced point of view. But no, an insult. And 7 thumbs up. Just a wannabe alpha-males back slapping millionaires' club here.
Good points..
