I have one of the best posting records on this page. I have invested my tullow profits on Croatia to win Eurovision , 100k sterling on the nod . Next week I will use the proceeds to short tullow back down to circa 29 p.

FDM,
I'm a LTH, and I am looking for 140p plus but haven't got an exit price for the reason you suggest - as in favourable circumstances 200p plus is viable.
Anton was ramping at 63p............just one of many howlers.
Well said Anton.. Monopoly et al should stick to playing board games. As likely to be wrong as anyone else, anyone actually in the know would be enjoying all the profits they are making from calling low and highs correctly, not wasting time here with attempted de-ramps. As before, straight to jail and do not collect £200 lol

RE: Always awaiting on good news that never comes.8 May 2024 14:38
At 34.72 this is a short if ever I saw one. It will tumble to below 34 before the week is out
Our multi user friend makes sure they have a user to post each of the possible out comes and then they can claim to have called it. How sad it that you ask .... very sad. The irony is beside fueling your delusions of grandeur, if you don't actually have a position it doesn't matter if you called it as you make nothing from it.
Here's hoping we don't get a cut and paste update again next week. Time for some good news .... only 7 weeks till the Kenya deadline. News always leaks, so if it's going to be positive we should see a sudden rise in share price before the 30th of June. Time for this wait to be over.....
Quite possibly no "real" reason few dollars other than it's an up day (heading to AGM)
Same as sometimes it goes down for no real reason either. Over time tlw often has quite a fluctuation on both a daily and weekly graph. Not done the maths, but probably 99% of that time is based on not much actual company news that could effect price up or down.
Nice finish to the day, not sure why! Someone out there might explain this increase. GLA
You've got to laugh, at how quiet the resudent tlw share price expert jmax is whilst the price is climbing, could well drift back a bit, but gotta make hay while the sunshines lol.
JMAX who called buy at 36. Stick to your pretend guru status haha
Alright time for some stellar sun fueled kipper based fisticuffs to settle this metaphysical debate.
I'm open to either under the Westway Flyover or behind Poundland Runcorn.
DaKen, i've been advocating for a Royal Rumble for a while, glad you have taken notice. Me and the Baron are friends so thank you for the comment. If you are offended by Royal Rumbles then i apologize. Also, the BAron only comes on here and says he is eating kippers, he doesn't pose such questions. I accept your apology. But yeah, Biden Vs Modi in an arm wrestle, who wins?
JoeyWunna, that was the name...
VirSteele no offence mate but you're trying too hard to be like Baron and it just isn't washing. Pretty sure you were doing the same under a different name a few weeks ago but can't remember the name. It's getting a bit tiresome, sorry.
Where are you Uncle Baron.
JMAX.
Scooby hasn't got a Scooby Do :)
I'm the words of tlw chat site self appointed expert.
Who called tlw "rumbling up" from 36 whilst the naysayers were spreading doom.
Jmax, who would you back in an arm wrestle.. Milei or Putin. Serious question. Normally I would back Putin for physical bouts, but i have to go with Milei on this one.
No clue VirSteel. But I would not focus too much on production a little up or down from forecast, after all a 5% up can be offset by a 10% fall in OP, and viceversa. I am now long term bullish but as said many times not one to get rich soon. We are still in negative equity and any stock price >0 is exclusively goodwill......from 2025 the story can definitely change, but I am on the side of those of you who have put TLW in their ISA or pension pot, not of those who actively trade, better bet on black at the roulette :) GLA
Scooby hasn't got a Scooby Do :)
Scooby, the real question is do you think Rishi would be able to outstrike Modi and do you think there's a chance that Putin will train him in Judo and he will win via submission?
Strange that the sell at 36 etc naysayers are quiet today. Remember, even a broken clock tells the right time twice per day.... Don't be fooled by others motives, you either believe tlw is worth buying/holding or you don't based on what information etc is available.
If you search for "Tullow Oil" in Google and click on news and then sort by date, these 2 negative articles are the 1st and 3rd top search results:
No. 1
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/finance/news/tullow-oil-review-output-forecast-095438363.html
No. 3
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/finance/news/tullow-oil-reduces-upper-end-064705257.html
One article is from 2015 and one from 2023. It really does look like it isn't just a conspiracy theory that there is a campaign to keep the Tullow share price down. These negative articles always seem to appear whenever the share price gains upward momentum. I've seen it time and time again in the past few years.
GILTS 10-year note fell by about 30 pts in the last few trading days. Like it or not, this is one of the key drivers in TLW SP. Hopefully this trend is confirmed and the 10-y note minimum set in January 70 points lower is re-tested. Not by chance, it was at that time that the SP reached 40p. At those very same level of interest rates, and in the current OP scenario, I would expect the SP to easily break the 40p resistance and go for the re-test of the 60p level.
We should have a Royal Rumble with all the world leaders. Winner gets to have their currency as the reserve, loser has to let the winners citizens enslave them. The question is, would you back your leader. And, which leader do you think would come out on top. I'm voting for Angela Murkle. I reckon she has a nasty head kick.
If somebody is giving a tip on Tlw results they need to get another job - the results are already published and the Kosmos production update for the 1st Quarter takes care of 2024 to date. What a plonker
It is frustrating because the SP does not make sense with oil averaging above 80$. There must be some problems with debt not being properly covered by a forecast generated cash... Can someone explain how can a stable oil business be valued at just 1/3 of its yearly revenue?
Bondy, I haven't done much looking into the outcome of the results, what do you reckon will be the verdict. Good results, or should we be expecting some negative. I'm about 4% in the red at the moment, so hopefully with good news it'll turn me green. Yeeeehahhhhh
