guys if you do not like the times article then go on to twitter and give times and peel hunt a good peace of your mind. They all have their own agenda and over dramatise everything more than it needs to be sometimes rightly and most of the time not. Like PMO and Enq, Tullow will recover too and move forward. This dam Africa nonsense needs to get sorted out. We are almost hitting March and still nothing, 2 months gone and no movement. If the board had any sense at least they would keep investors updated and motivated on African settlement progress. Useless as an ashtray on a motorbike.
Disagree with that... look at China... vast majority are just joe bloggs retail investing... Boards like this have an influence however small you like to think...
Analysts at Peel Hunt means for exploration budget in Peru.
They have a clear intention not giving the figures properly, you should know why.
Correct.
Only a couple of months ago shares in Tullow Oil were above £2. Now they are worth less than a quarter of that following a calamitous update just before Christmas when the company cut its production outlook, suspended its dividend and parted ways with its chief executive.
Shares in the oil explorer fell again this morning, dropping 1½p, or 3.5 per cent, to 43¾p after one of its exploration wells offshore Peru failed to hit oil. It will be plugged and abandoned.
Analysts at Peel Hunt, the City stockbroker, said that the Marina-1 well was “relatively important” for Tullow, given that it accounted for about a third of this year’s exploration budget.

I am sorry oilheadgame, but nobody on here will make a buisness grow, and nobody on here will make a share go up or down, if persons reading these boards influance them to buy or sell a share then that is up to them.
It is for everyone to see if they want to, it is from the Times newspaper, buisness section, i can't see what all the fuss is about.
Just google the times newspaper on line and look at it, i didn't even see it until it came up on news feed from putting in TLW share price.
Like i said before i can't understand what all the fuss is about.
we are all here to make money.
I believe everybody should make money the right way ie focusing on good info and finding out info that are privvy to iis etc.
we all shoukd help a business grow rather than destruct...only if its a fraud like nmc or likewise.
I'm just frustrated when people post these article and tell you what...most people here believe it....which frustrates me because these lot haven't done their due diligience.
and sitting on a paper loss or making a loss like your self
nogger what did the article say ?
Well if it is fake news maybe you should get on to the times or Peel Hunt, and not myself.
I am also invested here with quite a big loss at the moment.
No matter what people post on here will not make any difference to the share price, whether they ramp a share or deramp a share.
The times report is for everyone to see, and it is up to the person reading it to make what they will of it.
that's great..that you are looking out for false in unproductive reports on the internet and posting it here without any input on it.
I would only imagine you are here in this board posting to support tullow and like-minded investor interest, right?
I am only repeating what the times said.
Most of the budget is destined for Ghana/Kenya for upgrading/remediating problems. However, I wonder if the good news on gas disposal may alleviate some of that spend and allow for use elsewhere.
noggers have you had a chance to look over the financials, nugget?
capex for 19 is $315million and only $30million allocated for South American drills.
how is that 3rd
What a gold nugget, oilheadgame.
Not really Bullit, according to peel hunt, it is a third of TLW exploration budget, so make what you will of that.
lot of village idiots here
it's heaving
noggers....you sound more like a nugget mate.
Thanks Noggers, Does the article finish on a positive note as I have spent all my money on TLW and cannot afford to susbcribe.
To get the full article you have to subscribe to the Times, but if you put in TLW share price on Google it comes up on that, it does say it was an important part of TLW oil.
Please could you post the article up noggers?
A good write up in the Times regarding Peru.
