Actually it was 98p, you do a lot of research for someone not holding shares
Pretty well a decade ago this month the share price was 75p new money.
After THR performed a 25:1 share consolidation in 2016 they had 206,193,579 (before: 5,154,839,454) after the consolidation shares on aim. They now have 1.6+B. It's just like confetti! IMO. How many will they have in a year or two. You must see the pattern. What other companies print shares like this? I was wrong, they placed 1.4Billion @ .0025p not 1.2Billion a while back.

>1,622,703,822 shares in issue
So about 0.27$Aus then.
1,622,703,822 shares in issue
Could any smart chap shed light to me on what may be the monitory gains for Thor on these recent numbers DW gold and copper finds etc. I’m sure there are expenses to be incurred down the line but any net value .......? Surely we are worth more than the current share price .dont wish to make wild comparisons to other gold or copper explorers in the regions
Well, he got the wts of copper and gold right but I don't think much else We certainly haven't reached $1/shr yet have we?
I just read this on hot copper and interested if anyone here agrees.
Am I smoking something?
(177000 tonnes Cu @ AU$5-10/kg (say avg. 7.50/kg) +
71500 oz @ AU$2500oz)
x 30% stake
-------------
AU$1.5B * 0.3 = AU$450M
THR has 450M shares on issue,
Value to THR ~ $1 per share, prior to any discounted cashflow.

Nice rise in Australia, up 11%
We have had amazing news today - it’s the equivalent of having a piece of land with planning permission - sooner or later this share price will rocket when the potential of Thor is recognised fully - even if the current board do not bring the mine to fruition - there will be lots of other miners who have the capabilities to do so. Good luck all - who have stayed with Thor through the ups and downs.
Hi Keithb1.
I shamelessly plucked the 3% in ground value from John Cornfords article yesterday discussing the valuation of Xtract Resources (XTR on AIM) Racecourse Cu-Au porphyry resource in the Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW, Australia. The geology is different, Racecourse is shallow, but Alford East might even attract a premium for In Situ Recovery being possible. So it is based on a (loose) analogue. If l had more time l would look more closely at analogues, but alas, l do not!
Original article:

Hi Zaphod. I did the first part of your calculation this morning, but it's a big leap from there to estimating a current value of the resource to a prospective buyer or to its impact on the SP/MCap. Why did you pick 3% to apply to the overall value of the resource? I've no idea whether that's reasonable or not but we have to start somewhere. Perhaps someone will come along with another figure and we'll eventually arrive at a figure we're reasonably happy with. I would expect some discussion tonight on Hot Copper, which might enlighten us further. At least it'll be better than all the futile rubbish we have to put up with on here from some contributors.
Should learn to keep my mouth shut and just keep buying as much as l can :-)
Take $8000 per ton Cu and $1850 per oz Au, and with this maiden inferred resource estimate we get approximately $1.5 BILLION of resource.
Using approx 3% valuation that a major might pay for resources at this stage of exploration, and you have $45 million. Or 33 million pounds sterling. Compare to 15 million pound mcap, and you see why the current share price might be a bargain.
GLA. Zaphod.
Over a £Billion in resources from one asset with minimal overheads compared to conventional mining.
I'm sure there is more to come.
Happily holding.
Dyor.

Who are the people that went out and secured these assets in the first place. Easy to find fault and be negative
i have a wierd feeling this time
it looks as if we could be holding a very large mass of copper & enough gold for all us LTHers
we all know how important copper is in electrics
may be this mine will change our opinion of mr B
i think that we have cake & we have lots of icing
DYOR etc cat
I get the feeling that some of you believe that Mick walks around the office with a "Drill by mouth" sign attached, just like someone in hospital with a "Nil by mouth" designation. We shall see.
Mick's the man going to make all of us that hold shares rich beyond our wildest dreams
That's all you can do when it comes to THR. Laugh!
