Good morning Steve,
I reluctantly agree with your assessment. I have averaged down to about 69p but that is probably going to be considered high in the next few weeks.
I've emailed Investor Relations to share my concerns because we all just want to see a floor to the ongoing decline.
Let's see what happens....
If you have taken a short, maybe not such a bad decision
Another day, another decline - boohoo SP higher than THG.
No reason for the decline/ no reason decline will stop until 15 sept
Maybe I’ve taken a short on ; -) . MM is the ceo & ultimately he controls everything , including IR & PR . He needs to sort that for a start . The gifting of shares to mates is defo a new one to me . Ever happened before on lse ? . Forget outside the the box thinking.
Those biggin up MM must have been the ones to receive part of the £821000 bonanza. Another Criss frazer ? One wouldn’t want that comparison .
I too had the chance to collect at £1.56 but was convinced that a bid over £2 was coming.
Why wouldn’t we? Moulding had basically told the market a price he would do a deal at which was between £2 and £2.50.
It is also highly unusual no further bids were tabled, no other bidders came forward, Belerion ‘only’ had to find another few hundred million to satisfy Mouldings ask.
I got closed out on the whole disaster after the SP on deadline day, which everyone was saying had now priced in no bid, fell a further 32%, an incredulous set of events.
Back on the ride at a much lower average of 76p but again the SP has dropped below where I thought the bottom was (after rallying earlier in the year from low 70’s).
I hope we can all have another bite at the cherry and doubt many will make the same mistake twice!
GLA
I don’t think there is a person on this board that didn’t think a circa £2 offer was coming in. We had no reason to believe otherwise.
Also if anyone slates MM then more fool them, he knows more than all of us. Nobody forced any of us to hold onto our shares, we all made a choice in our own beliefs.
Mystery to me also Steve. I also wish I’d made a different decision at £1.50. And I have to say, it’s the first time I’ve been in a company that is essentially for sale, with incoming bids that doesn’t result in a sale to ‘someone’.
But no one will be complaining (well, except Rock) if a £2.50 + bid materialises!
No I’ve post hereshoping and agree with your sentiments.
I was also convinced a bid of circa £2 was incoming as I couldn’t understand why a baord member would back a bid that would get rejected (as he has insider knowledge / is a friend of mounding, and moulding voted for him to be re elected at the AGM)
However it was rejected and this threw me, and am unhappy now with the whole episode but need to move on
The chair buys and mouldings buys make me feel better but IR need to up their game on managing share holder /
Market expectations, and vanity projects like the hotels need to be sold
Beat me to it HH
Only Rock could pull something negative out of MMs altruism in this instance.
If only he showed the same respect to his small shareholders rather than treating them as ‘low life’.
Yeah shows the measure of the man.No wonder he hates the sharks in the market.Hope he takes this private
Maybe we can all move in there now we've lost all our money? ??
The mouldings are great people though to be fair. Well played to them.
Not been on the board for a day or two, so apologies if this has already been posted:
