Good thing is, others are buying at the same time Blackrock is selling.
Baltimore , Sofia and Leudelange, they all have upped their holdings. Once we have Blackrock and Goldman gone, we will have a hell of a recovery I guess.
GL to all.
Could be a big rise today!
Slow and steady wins the race. MM will smash the targets, news will be released and order will be restored.
Blackrock are one of the biggest holders of Evergrande's offshore bonds which are currently trading at 20 cents to the dollar. Its entirely possible they are trimming positions to free up liquidity in the coming Chinese property crash.
This also highlights that there’s no current plans to take private as if so Blackrock would be over the fence and unable to buy or sell
Such is life Hosai... I don't see it as positive news, unless you can spin that the sellers are being exhausted.
Would be a bit harsh for it to drop due to this considering it never really bounced when institutions bought recently.
I think they are now under 5% but over 3%
...so their next announcement I believe would come when/if they drop below 3%
Now that Blackrocks THG holdings are below 5% I believe if they sell further they do not need to release any more RNS declarations?
Soon, Blackrock will have sold all their shares and their name will not be mentioned here again.
I've said it before, investment banks will often sell out at a loss to show their customers they don't hold 'loser stocks'. If Blackrock customers think Blackrock hold 'loser stocks' on their behalf, Blackrock will see large outflows of funds, and they will earn lower rates of commission. To be clear, I, and plenty of others, including investment bankers who have done their research, do not think this is a 'loser stock'. But possibly a stock that when it IPO'd, was overvalued. Blackrock clearly do not see a way back to the IPO price anytime soon, so will take the hit just to get it off their books. I tend to agree that we won't see £5 any time soon, but I do believe we can be at £3.50 in a year's time.
This is where us retails can capitalise on low share prices, and to wait until sentiment to change and forecasts to be smashed.
At least Blackrock can now plow the proceeds into overvalued US stocks...
Be interested to know if BlackRock are in any sort of contact with the company.
Word on the street is that business is booming, freight costs to key markets reducing as capacity increases. Think I’ll hold on to my shares.
O well Blackrock at it again . You have to ask why they are selling .!!! Plus it’s not good we looked like we was about to recover then bang this USA waker hedge fund off loads again .
Yes. Chrysalis and directors are buying and BR is selling. Same like the retail.
Glad they are selling more - will be even more glad when they have sold the lot and cleared off because they are not helping sentiment with this share.
Once BlackRock have finished off loading ... The share price can begin it's recovery ....until then I suspect we will yoyo between mid £1.70s and mid £1.80s.
The news they are still offloading again will surely out many people off buying more ?
See latest RNS, looks like BlackRock have sold more shares taking them under the 5% threshold..
