This was my original reason for investing in TEK. I used to be a chef and know the market is huge and I mean huge. Can only hope all the quietness is leading to something special.
Hi Noiseyd. I'm not entirely sure but I thought it was the same one they started in February. I think they closed it temporarily, probably so they could get some cash before reopening to investments. So one long raise over 2 rounds I think but stand to be corrected.IP3LY probably has a better handle on it as I've only just got involved. Good luck
Information about the Salarius crowdfunding on the below site and looks like an additional round which was started in June...

Some good Q&As on the above site as well such as the one below...
Question
========
"I work in various hospitals in Texas (multiple cities) - I have not seen your product in any hospital/healthcare organization in Texas - why ? Being a health oriented product - why is it not on the menus of hospitalized patients (most hospitalized patients are on low sodium diets)? Why is it not in all hospital canteens/cafes ? Why has theSaltMe chips not seeked the backing of AmericanHeartOrganization ??? If available at a hospital for patients who need low sodium alternatives - then the message carries home not just to the patient - but to the rest of the family (customer multiplier effect). If SaltMe chips get backing of American Heart Association - then it s a winner."

"Hello. Great questions and suggestions. We are in the process of working on that. We are a young company and we need to ensure we expand with solid steps. As we launch our MicroSalt packs by the end of the year, we have a robust strategy to get to hospitals and their cafes. Also, we are in constant communication with the American Heart Association (I personally met with their team in Washington DC) to develop some synergies for our products or for our customers."
Maybe they just ran out of people wanting to invest so called it a day... I took part in the MV raise back in Feb. Is this the same one going on since then do you know TopCatz? Or a new one? Thanks
Either these expansion plans are fully funded (unlikely given their cash burn), or they are anticipating a commercial deal!
Exciting times for TEK.
Great Post, Salarius have big plans...
Product line development: The company anticipates rolling out a “80% less sodium” MicroSalt, an improved version of its current patented technology to further reduce sodium intake while providing the same full-level sodium flavor. It is also developing a Himalayan salt product variation as well as salt satchels, all with expected launches in Q4 2021.
Business Expansion: The company anticipates expanding into Mexico through its agreement with FXM in 2021, into LATAM in late 2021, and, through its agreement with GMI, to Asia in 2023. MicroSalt also plans to penetrate the restaurant market by developing a special applicator for restaurants (for use on French fries, tortilla chips, etc.) in late 2021
Makes you wonder doesn't Sea. The only plausible explanation I can fathom is that they don't feel the need to give as much of the company away as originally anticipated. Certainly makes you think there might be some serious interest out there.
I'm sure we will find out sooner rather than later. Until then we can just enjoy the speculation :)
Top , strange to close early if interest is high ? Actually really early . I wonder if they are looking to float or one of the big boys is interested
Apologies. Email received yesterday but I've only just read it!
Hi all. Got an email from microventures today (my in to a small punt on Salarius. Crowdfund now closing on the 30th July instead of 28th September apparently due to the success of the raise. The haven't raised the max permitted so why turn down money. Something fishy going on but it s definitely a good type of fishy. News very soon on the Salarius front IMHO. Possibly after the 30th but not necessarily so. It was a legal requirement to give 5 days notice I believe.
