Wow! Can’t believe I’m so interested in that video - but it is really exciting! Forget SP!
I'm dropping tiewraps .............!
are you historically posting, or speculating........?
All the best (wow :)
The ship that imported the TBM was the Eems Carrier, you can see it in the rushes that Myo posted about 6 mos ago:
https://siriusminerals.webdamdb.com/bp/#/lightbox/953522/87788275
the Eems Carrier is a small vessel (abt 2,300 DWT) with one large hold/hatch that can be utilized for various bulk cargoes, and when she shipped the TBM she was only carrying the TBM in the open hold with no other cargoes, and it looks like she discharged the TBM alongside at Redcar (no containers on board and not discharging at a container terminal). in my view it is logical that this is how they will ship any other machinery of a similar scale - if the SBR is far bigger than the TBM they would shift to a specialist heavy lift vessel that is purpose built for shifting heavy machinery at a higher freight - but not on a container vessel.
If you want to double check, suggest just call the agents and ask them what the ship is discharging - they are friendly blokes and will probably tell you.
Navara I'm almost certain it was the cutting head that left the tees dock earlier with police escort
Next quarterly update is due early doors in October i believe..
Chris I've been thinking for a while now that progress reported now might be lost in the Bond noise ????? not sure when the next quarterly update will be but maybe it will come after Bonds and ST2 complete .... Not positive but did Tristan Pottas allude to that\? It seems to me that would be the perfect way to satisfy PIs after a difficult few months ????
Anyway lets hope so
GLA ffc
I wonder if they will keep us updated on the progress of the s.b.r once commissioned and in operation. They havent with the tunneling machines, maybe they want to keep news for strategic reasons
All good Beef. Always good to have new posters join who can add constructively to the discussion.
Regarding the route Myo, I think it’s a total coincidence. A lot of vessels take a similar route to this - I’m 100% certain there’s nothing of interest in this vessel however, if I do spot anything that looks like it will be of interest I will let you guys know.
JonesRichard - Apology accepted, no hard feeling mate
I realise Myo is a well respected poster on here so for me to pop up out of the blue and pour cold water on his theory will be considered as deramping.
I was previously invested in Sirius but had to sell because I needed the funds for a house deposit. I still follow the board and genuinely want the company to do well as I have friends who work there and think it will be great for the local community.
With regards to my lack of posts - my knowledge of the project is far inferior to a lot of the posters here. If I have information that I believe to be informative/relevant I’ll post it.. that’s what these boards are for after all.
I really hope the bonds come off for all invested!
Ps The day the RNS came out and the shares dropped is the day the tunnel made the most progress ;) Perhaps it spurred the workforce on!
Depends I guess how it’s delivered and in how many parts / containers , not sure if it’s the same idea as yours Myo , but there was a very large container ship anchored off Teesport this morning , certainly a lot bigger than I’ve seen recently .
Just a thought but any one simply asked SM IR , they seem to be helpful when asked.
The other theory is it’s landed at Teesport already and a couple of lads with white flat beds have diverted it to Prossers scrap yard .
I'm hearing you Myo, guess like you say sometimes when you get so much trolling it makes you automatically doubt new posters, in that light please accept my apologies Beef and any light you can shed on the issue Myo has raised would be very much appreciated by all LTH's on here. Welcome to the BB.
Beef, I'd rather go with myo's theory as quite simply thats what I want to be true. Thanks for your insight anyway but why would you only decide to post now to refute myo's excellent detective/research work?
Wether you choose to believe me or not a little more digging and you’ll see that the Sigyn W is stemmed for Teesdock 8, a berth at the container terminal. Look at other vessels that have recently visited the berth... all of them are containerships!
Even the vessel operator Cargow lists the ships capacity in terms of containers (TEU)
https://cargow.com/the-fourth-new-vessel-mv-sigyn-w-has-entered-the-service-for-cargow/
Not here to argue or speculate, just offering some insight
are you trying suggest that SM are pulling stuff out of the ground already?
Not sure I’m gunna trust a guy with 2 previous posts
Beef
Cheers mate. Will take it off track
Myo
It’s just a coincidence I’m afraid, I’m based at Teesport and the vessel is scheduled for the container terminal. Not as exciting as a TBM.. unless they’ve managed to squeeze it into a 40ft container! Sorry to ruin the theory
Myo
Cheers will keep a close eye on it .
