Only partially correct sundance4, yes, 'it is written' is a quote from Jesus, but Maktub, an Arabic term, is frequently used as meaning fate., or 'it is written'. I have lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, and Maktub and Insh Allah, 'with the will of God' are both used, but when an Arab states that something might, or will happen, it is always followed by InshAllah.
Khawaggis ( non-believers in Islam), often used IBM ( In.t Bus. Mch.) to mean InshAllah Buchara Mafi. With the will of God, tomorrow, nothing.
ps crude, if you are still reading, still waiting reply to my mail this pm, re: making you laugh.!!lol.
The actual statement Crude maybe alluding to regarding "It is written ", if it were used here would be incorrect as if it were used in Morocco unless of course it was written by a Moroccan Christian ( Mathew 4). The term Insha Allah would be more appropriate Crude
For some reason, the relevant isn't listed on LSE above, but JP remains in post at the moment.

"It was announced by the Company on 14 August 2019 that James Parsons, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, had agreed to remain in his current role whilst the Company continued to explore monetisation options available to the Company in respect of its Eastern Morocco Portfolio. Consistent with the proposed transaction structure where the executive responsibility for operating the Eastern Morocco Portfolio is expected to move to a third party, James Parsons and Simon Davies have confirmed their decision to leave the Company.
Mr. Parsons will relinquish his executive duties and step down from the Board once his successor has been appointed to the Board but will remain available to the Company thereafter, in a consultancy role, until 12 May 2020 in order to assist with the completion of the transaction announced on 6 November 2019 and also to ensure an orderly handover of his duties.
Mr Davies will also stand down from the Board, in this case with immediate effect due to unexpected health reasons.
The Company announces that it intends to appoint Mohammed Seghri, currently Managing Director Morocco, to the Board, initially as acting Chief Executive, in the near future and after the Company completes the formal procedures relating to his proposed appointment.
The Company has also appointed Marco Fumagalli, Non-Executive Director, as acting Chairman with immediate effect and the Board will shortly commence a process to identify and appoint an independent, Non-Executive Chairman in due course ".
Well big fella..... it cant get much worse here... so lets hope this is the darkest hour before the Dawn
Who evers in charge let’s pray they can turn this **** storm around! Will the FSC answer any questions? I hope so. We need sone credibility and faith in the new board. Will we all be able to afford that turkey at Xmas;-). Good luck ALL suffering LTH‘S here we need to regroup together here and focus on the future not the crappy past. JB
As crude has pointed out Pont, JP is aboard. Maybe he has gone to panama where he knows he can't be extradited for his crimes!
At one stage, I thought JP had some back bone but seems like now he has stuck his two fingers up to the PI's
I'm more interested in profit
It might not be formal yet but I dont believe he will be performing any further duties as CEO -my guess is Mr Seghiri is 'de facto'in charge.
And hopefully not steal it of us, the people who helped fund the venture.
If James is no longer on the board the first thing M.Seghri should do is tell James he is not wanted as a consultant and he should go now.
Zig, Mohamed is acting CEO & James is no longer on the Board! This is effective right now. The 'Nominations Committee' will confirm Mohamed as permanent CEO in due course. The Arabs have a short but sweet saying: "It is written"...I believe the fate of Tendrara is/was written a while back & Mohamed Seghiri is the Prophet to take us out of the wilderness...but who knows!
Would that be looking for his new house?
Pontcanna, James is not "at the helm". He wont be taking part in the FSC - that will be down to new CEO Mohamed Seghiri & Brian M. James won't answer any questions because he is no longer on the Board but he may be abroad.
...infact 15p would be welcome..... ok il settle for 10p. ;-(
Very possible and most probable Joe..... this fsc might not be the abusefest onslaught I was expecting... Maybe JP has one last Hurrah up his sleeve.... I doubt it but with SOU nothing surprises me anymore... maybe Shell want these permits in place before a mega offer lands on JP's dusty desk. ….Not the £5 I hoped for a few years ago but 25p would be a welcome price right now! ;-0
They knew some news was coming so decided on an fsc .
More Sidi Moktar questions from me then...already submitted loads
