SeaBoy - Just a hunch.
First impression was interim CFO is in place to get the books in order for a takeover.
Legal Secretary to ensure the transaction is watertight.
Both of those signings are serial consultants, rinse and repeat at all the firms they have been at.
The CCO seems a bit different he will bring with him a lot of connections just feels like he’s more useful if you where brokering multiple licensing deals in different countries.
I may be wrong just a hunch.
I have to laugh and also admit I may have got this one wrong. I emailed RM twice this week to suggest we need a marketing team and then I find out today (as most people have) that we have already employed a guy who has been at the top of his industry.
Why did RM not tell us this ...
Anyway this appears good news, its the weekend and I have just booked a holiday to Portugal for end of May. Have good one.
Haha, I'll be up.
Ghia that's interesting. What makes you think we might be heading down the licensing route?
This third hiring leads me to believe they are going down the licensing route but I may be wrong.
Will anyone be up late enough for the obligatory de-ramp on this posted usually around 1am?
Oak, they crack me up. I've never known so many nobodies comment on a measly £2 share all at once.
Am I reading this right? Was he previously at AstraZeneca as director of global marketing, or have I got the wrong Hennings...
This appointment of Hennings seems as big as or even bigger than Tils's appointment of Neil Graham back in January. It's massive.
Oakleaf72 whats the story with Reddit, last post I see is an article from 6 days ago, is there a discussion board and how does one get access... Thanks...
People with a CV of that caliber aren’t unemployed, they are in between positions looking for the right fit
Not at all Ghia, did 3 Months myself once and that was nothing compared to this
It’s quite typical in high up positions that you get put on paid gardening leave, to prevent you taking positions with competitors and knowing your current companies up to date plans.
6months is not out of the question.
Well spotted Prof ;-)
I wonder when he left, it was stated he can’t join another company within the industry within X months?????

RE: New Synairgen CCO (hired in Dec 2020)Today 18:47
You’ll notice he was out of a job - he left Verona in Jul 2020.
Jez
That’s exactly what I thought.
People of that talent wait for the right opportunity and wouldn’t consider a tiny biotech unless they saw great potential
You’ll notice he was out of a job - he left Verona in Jul 2020.
Jez2, think you just summed up the sentiment on the Redditt board right there. The timing of that being available is very strange (in case you missed it)
That's some cv and portfolio right there!! Why would such a hugely talented and experienced cco join a small UK biotech?
This is the equivalent of Southampton fc signing Ronaldo next season...fantastic news.
Surprised the board don't rns such high profile appointments.
Seaboy, The whoppers have been getting bigger lol
Agreed Mike.
Not sure which I found funnier - the comment that this share would be worth £2 or that it would take a whole year to get there.
Doesn’t sound like a company expecting to sell out for £2 a share or sell a tiny amount sng001.
The latest in a number of encouraging appointments.
Thanks for this Oak, it's made my day. Fantastic appointment by the look of his CV. Further clues as to where this could be heading.
Gilead global commercial director - respiratory.
Commercial Head responsible for commercial assessments & BD/ R&D collaborations leading to portfolio expansion.
In-house development programs - COPD, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Bronchiectasis, RSV, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Acquisition/ Licensing - Arresto (IPF), MicroDose (RSV).
Also responsible for CAYSTON (inhaled antibiotic treatment for CF) global commercial launch.
This guy knows his stuff. Huge appointment from RM. and he knows ALL the right people!
Mike
I'm surprise the board isn't buzzing about this.
Thanks for sharing Oak
This is another piece of excellent news
I believe we will get an update when financials are revealed.
