pmjh I really value yours and other posters here and tried to grab your attention with a critical care bed post a day or so ago, but to prevent me chat stalking:) if there is such a thing, I revamped it, I am very new to this AIM market chat stuff, but learning how its burns everyday.

The PHE article et al are supported in the last set of Sage minutes, Sage 57 to Sage 59, Google "Sage 59 Minutes" and the links all come up, There are some very interesting reports that are published here and the investigations supporting them. These folks are working at break neck speed and are top Scientists. Treatments will be needed IMHO.
ive been given an appointment for a flu vaccine early novembee as says im at risk apparently.. had no idea i was at risk?
Tiptree
I think GP's make exceptions, so I would call the practice, would have thought anyone with
chronic asthma would qaulify....Definitely worth a call.....GL!
Tell that to Boots! Cancelled flu jab for 64 year old with various medical conditions including one chronic and asthma: “ If you’re not 65, you don’t qualify”. Where’s Matt when you need him, apparently there are plenty for all.
hi Volatil1ty, as you will have no doubt researched, the Spanish Flu Pandemic 1918-1919 graph is very sobering and shows a 2nd wave around 3 times the size of the 1st wave, and even a 3rd wave. We can only keep everything crossed that, that hideous scenario isn't repeated, and that SNG001 does indeed play a major role in mitigating the current situation world.
Yes indeedy .... the flu + Coronavirus ****tail is potentially set to be a nightmare scenario this winter for anyone catching both together. SNG001 treats both......BINGO !!!!
Come on the UK government - let's get this fast-tracked, and up and running ASAP for UK patients - you know it makes sense !!
I have been asked to go fora jab, googled the rate, 45% effective??? thats 55% not effective on what I found, more treatments will be need if both Viruses take hold, the pressures on critical care beds could huge and SNG100 has demonstrated reduction of these. I think this is one reason France have moved quickly they are in the same Flu/Covid boat as all of us eg the Globe, SNG100 could be the global life saver.
@Wafer... According to PHE, 17,000 die pa of flu in England alone.
And yet we constantly hear that the flu vaccine may not be the right one for this seasons anticipated strain.
In their own Department publication..
PHE published Document 22 /9/2020 is a key reminder of the huge risks faced.
"Three of the nation’s senior medics – Dr Yvonne Doyle, Professor Jonathan Van-Tam and Dr Nikita Kanani – are calling on all eligible people to get vaccinated against flu, as new research from Public Health England (PHE) suggests the risk of death more than doubled for people who tested positive for both flu and COVID-19, compared to those with COVID-19 alone.
The research, looking at cases between January and April this year, also found that those with co-infection of the 2 viruses were more at risk of severe illness. Most cases of co-infection were in older people and more than half of them died."
Flu is a serious condition that kills, on average, 11,000 people in England each year and hospitalises many more. Adults at high risk from flu are also most at risk from COVID-19. The free vaccine is more important than ever to help protect the nation from a double threat this winter.
