Lurker2020.. Thanks for your insight.. appreciated
Oakleaf72.. I take it your one of them bullies every board seems to have. No doubt a proper A1 class keyboard warrior.
I do my own research but i also like other shareholders thoughts and opinions.
Isn't that what these boards are for??
I'm glad i found out who to ignore in the future..
Cheers
I totally agree Doc. I am very happy.
Daplonker, an hour ago you didn't even know what was going on as you were asking for advice. Go and do some research and you might find out why.
Back to proper stuff. Doc, TL, yes all good points. With rapdily advancing techniques in mapping patients at risk from severe disease and coupled with some strong long covid data this could be more than we ever first though. This however begs the next question. Scale, we may simply not have any choice about getting a really big boat as this may have even out grown modest expectations. RM and SH can't just say no to a scenario where the world gets it much quicker. SNG is not going to sell cheap either though.
Hi DaProphet,
Yeah, I still stand by my earlier thoughts despite the RNS. Polar remains a large share holder, and this move is probably just a bit of top-slicing or rearranging their portfolio - I'm not concerned either way. I'm still in the firm belief that synairgen's products will have passed their trials and be available, at a critical time when coronavirus is gearing up for a 3rd UK wave and different waves abroad.
All the best.
Funny - all of this talk of buyout does remind me of when the start-up I worked for at the time was acquired back in 2010. It had very good growth prospects but lacked the capital and size to make it a world beater. It was also beaten down by the financial crisis. The share price was limping along and then boom, it was up 50%. The key thing is not losing sight of the value of the product. If it works, someone who eventually pay you its fair market value.
Lurker2020..
Do you still stand by your thoughts after the latest RNS.
Thanks in advance
Dp
Thank you for your reply Docdaneeka. Your suggested scenario seems likely in the event that the company is sold. In that case, it ought to attract bids from several competitors, which should will increase the value for investors. My target was always relatively modest; anything in excess of that figure would be gratefully accepted.
Thank you also, volatility. These figures are well ahead of anything I had in mind, although some calculations posted on this board, which tend to make sense, suggest similar amounts. I shall continue to wait patiently and see what happens.
It was good to see a 3% surge in the share price at the end of trading today. I am looking forward to seeing what next week holds for the SNG share price. Surely, we will soon move upwards from the current level!
With my best wishes to you both for a good weekend.
me too Andy, I keep putting off my appointment due to long covid.
Thanks Kiwi I saw the repurposed ms treatment interferon on page six in Actt 3. Re read it as you say.
Specsavers on the to do list.
It's on page 7 line 9. Just a single mention. He doesn't seem to have any problem mentioning companies by name, just not ours!
The share price has remained steady for the last few days. We have encountered two "tree shakes" recently, but the average trading volumes have been low in March and April, and at similar levels to last September. I am seeing an eerie similarity to a company I was invested in three years ago. The similarities include a gradual decline from a recent high over a few months to a steady value, with low trading volumes, and some temporary dipping. That company was bought up, and I am beginning to think that the same might happen here? The appointment of a confident CFO with relevant experience ( inferred from his LinkedIn profile) only adds to my suspicion. On a personal level, I would prefer to see the company evolving once it has jumped through the forthcoming hoops, but will accept whatever course of action that Synairgen decides.
I have no idea what value would be attached to the company in the event of a buyout by a large pharmaceutical entity? Last time around, the share price doubled. It wouldn't be unreasonable to expect a larger multiple with all that Synairgen has to offer.
But doesn’t it follow in Activ 3 ? Weren’t we ACTiv 2 ?
Yes but I'd rather hear SNG being mentioned than Interferon Beta. As said, here come pmjh's ducks, lining up nicely.
Kiwi was it end of a sentence page 6 after Remdesivir and not called SNG but generic interferon originally to treat MS ?
Isn’t everything else described with its brand name or clinical name ? Maybe I missed it.
Nothing substantial though...
"ACTIV-2, which is focused on outpatients, has since been expanded to evaluate a
combination monoclonal antibody therapy, BRII-196 and BRII-198, as well as three
investigational therapeutics: SNG001, an inhalable beta interferon; AZD7442, an investigational
long-acting antibody combination; and camostat mesilate, an orally administered molecule that
may block SARS-CoV-2 from entering cells."
SNG001 was mentioned Andy
...and as we always say, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here this weekend.
Thanks gggg21 - Scant recognition from Fauci again or did I miss something.
Monoclonals and still banging on about Remdesivir- sisters company perhaps.
If I were to hazard a guess. There's a recent II, new appointment of a CFO and news that could drop on 3 fronts any day now that'll significantly affect the share price.
Everything is lining up perfectly.
Leroygamble..
please share?
why this weekend...
If there was a weekend I wouldn't want to be out of it, this would be it.
GLA!
gggg21, any chance you could paraphrase -)?

Definitely.
Looks like a buyer who has instructed to buy big at under 150 ? We've seen this behaviour before - price dropped to spook / frustrate PIs ?
