SNG001
That is rather scary to see the quote "hospital admissions doubling every eight days" in the UK.
There is a solution to stem this tide of hospitalised patients, to ensure that many of them won't even need hospital, and for those that do need it, they will not need it for long. The solution is called SN001
I'm off out, but here's something entertaining on covid ! SNG can save us all.

Anyone see this? Critical lung damage seen months after getting Covid-19. This is another massive point why SG001 is need.
"Doctors are now concerned that the pandemic will lead to a significant surge of people battling lasting illnesses and disabilities. Because the disease is so new, no one knows yet what the long-term impacts will be. Some of the damage is likely to be a side effect of intensive treatments such as intubation, whereas other lingering problems could be caused by the virus itself. But preliminary studies and existing research into other coronaviruses suggest that the virus can injure multiple organs and cause"
"even mild cases can have life-changing effects — notably a lingering malaise similar to chronic fatigue syndrome."

Hurtle. I have several family members living in Sweden. I can assure you that is not the case. Things have gotten a lot stricter there and I know several people living there who are not even allowed to go to work. And looking at reports from other European countries it doesn't seem to be the case there either. In fact lockdown and infections are worse than ever.

Let's just agree that no matter what the setting whether it be Covid-19 or the flu etc. That this drug is sorely needed. Have a good day :)
Life returning to normal in some countries in Europe, inc Sweden. ;)
Still more deaths from flu/pneumonia than deaths of people who have had a positive cv test recently.
Positive cv test does not mean infected. PCR test is 'pretty useless'.
It's free to read online.
My Children's school has this week sent home and isolated whole year groups, due to positive Covid cases in years 7, 8, and 13.This is not going away anytime soon. Normality may never return. Our lives will need to evolve with Covid among us, or meds like SNG001 will be widely available to the public to get us over and through it. Stay safe all.
Migsmcl86. Sadly there is no evidence of herd immunity in the UK and the chances of getting there are by all means impossible according to the studies. The first point is Spain for example where they have been hit hardest of nearly any other country yet only 5% of the population have developed antibodies. Far from the 60-80% needed.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.healthing.ca/diseases-and-conditions/coronavirus/spains-covid-antibody-study-shows-herd-immunity-unachievable/amp
Secondly studies show that even those who develop antibodies lose them after a short time. It's why every leading medical expert around the world have gone strongly out against the herd immunity theory when it comes to Covid-19.

Lastly the idea that the higher numbers comes from more testing is not entirely accurate as testing has fallen behind quite a bit and the worst affected areas aren't even getting tests done at the moment which leaves a potential larger number than those being reported.

In any case I agree completely with you that SG001 has so many legs to stand on. It's a literal wonder drug and can be used in so many settings.
It's not the only theory possible, it was just one of a few possibilities.
But yes I agree SNG001 is needed. A proven safe medicine for various conditions. Get it on the shelves and line my account with gold :)
Migsmcl86 hopefully we wont see an increase in hospitalisation but with the number of cases rising the UK (and world) need medicines that prevent people from reaching this stage - SNG and others I'm sure. Yes we have more testing but your theory regarding government would need to apply to every government around the entire world as they all appear to be applying similar measures.
The need for SNG is becoming more critical everyday.
Let’s not get into this rabbit hole. Can we all agree that a lot of people believe this is getting worse and some disagree- however there’s a massive market for SNG. Let’s stick to SNG discussions otherwise this board will become a squabble again.
Goldforefinger it may look worse when you are looking at cases etc. However, as testing has increased far beyond what it was in march/April, how are we to know that these number of cases are minimal in comparison to March/April if we had the same amount of testing at that time. I think people are being scared by this. ATM it is a CASEdemic. Until we see a dramatic increase in hospital admissions or deaths then we need to stay calm. I say dramatic because the deaths will be higher than normal because it's ultimately fly season. They need to be dramatically higher to be sure it is COVID.
I think we have pretty much achieved herd immunity and it is the government keeping it going for various possible reasons. One being their actions have been disastrous for millions and they can't back track now and admit they got it wrong.
Those people that think this is dying out are deluded as the second wave of COVID 19 WILL be much worst then the first.
SNG001 will be needed, make no mistake about it.
Europe's number of new new infections is now HIGHER than the peak numbers of the first wave. Things are really getting bad and we haven't even entered flu season yet.
As Dr Hans Kruge - special WHO envoy of COVID-19 - puts it:
"We have a very serious situation unfolding before us.
"Weekly cases have now exceeded those reported when the pandemic first peaked in Europe in March."
"Last week, the region’s weekly tally exceeded 300,000 patients."
"More than half of European countries have reported a greater than 10 per cent increase in cases in the past two weeks."
"Of those, seven countries have seen newly reported cases increase more than two-fold in the same period."
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/coronavirus-who-europe-new-cases-infections-pandemic-b466398.html%3famp
Europe is literally screaming for SG001 now.
