All the best (please, let us know your stop........... :()
Look at their calls on this, a little better than 50-50
Who would have made more money? Those that shorted at 37p like suggested or those that bought at 37p like many on here suggested? British Bulls is a well recognised site so there will be many doing that. Still recommends stay short.
Trouble is thinkaboutit...........!
you don't thinkaboutit................. :()
All the best (you should go ahead an short stock this if you feel that ....... :)
Companies with a market cap of £40 million and make no money then buy a company valued at £20 million that also makes a loss are worth looking out for. I think pumped is the term used.
Another good indicator is if the charts resemble Mayrhofen you're going to need a decent helmet.
That said Burt.............!
The Manipulation title invited another reply from me.............. :()
Sure, they will use this technicality to their advantage........... :)
All the best (over 'n over again .......... :()
The way the trades are reported Burt..........!
under/over Mid price at the time, colours the trade as a sell/buy.........!
All the best (bottom line, it's a trade, someone has sold to someone else, or vice versa :()
Burt, there must have been a million posts on every single BB over the years about this. Its completely unreliable as a source of info to look at buy/sell ratios.
Personally I always take the fairly simplistic view that for every buy, there is a sell, so really its always balanced, sells never outweigh buys and vice versa.
My advice would be fwiw, to just stop using it as an indicator.
Haydn1 - quite right, I could not agree more, this contract is large and more than that it is for a key area in the richest country in the world, just imagine the credibility it provides, we certainly ain't starting small.....
There could be dozens of these sort of contracts in the next couple of years, all providing continuous revenue, I am certainly pleased with the RNS today and am looking forward to seeing a few more in the weeks and months ahead.
GLA
Of course and I understand that. I don’t know much about trading and how it all works but to me when the buys are double the sells I would expect the price to rise.
They have mouths to feed also Burt..........!
The spread earlier was closer to 10% than is now, but is been tighter..........!
All the best (exciting..........! eh :()
How can MMs get away with holding this down? This is the 3rd day where buys have been around double the number of sells and value the same but yet it gets held back or even put into the red?
Wrong again I'm afraid............!
On Thurs 24th agm day............ 60/65p was the range for an hour...........!
70's ................ not much trading up there bud..........!
So feel for the punter that paid 75p on his own, or realise that the market is what it is.......:()
All the best (just don't post untruths.......... I'll give ya 6 for that incorrect troll post....... :()
I invested last week following the rather surprising share price reaction to the potential covid breathalyser test. The waste water RNS is more significant in its implications for future contracts than for the size of the contract being announced. When selling new technology the first contract is always the hardest. This contract should pave the way for many more as it provides huge additional credibility.
If you are tasked with writing a specification for water monitoring, the chances are you specify what science and technology is known to you, and as such your procurement is based on this knowledge. Many specifications are a rehash of what went before and don't specify anything new. I highlighted some time ago that many people writing specifications/tender documents, don't actually know what they want or need, or in fact the new science that is out there. That is why, for me, this contract is pivotal. It showcases the new science. A successful operation here and the word will spread very quickly. As well as upgrading the existing Modern Water footprint I suspect there will be a glut of new business stemming from todays announcement.
Yes, they should try to fix that video!
I made the same mistake and saw $500,000 rather than $3,000,000. I was happy with $500,000, ecstatic with $3,000,000.
Interesting wording "first contract", the optimist in me interpreted that as 'first of many' rather that the factual 'the first ever'. It will be the first of many I am sure.
Does anyone else find the podcast cuts out after 46 seconds? This is the main website for the CV breathalyser!
I think a lot people read it as $500k for 3 years rather than potentially $3 million for 3 years, hence the muted reaction
I also read it as 500k for the entirety of the 3 year deal. RNS needs rewording and release day again with total possible revenue over the 3 years clearly stated.
Good post Stoater.............:)
would've been better with some dots and brackets BTW............. :()
All the best (rec from me, always watchin.......... even when at work......... teabreaks obvs.................. :()
$500,000/6 months is pretty significant for one contract, no doubt more will be announced soon
I must admit, I also read it as a payment of $500k for a 3 year contract. I was very surprised by the muted reaction from the market....and even more so now that GB has pointed out it is a recurring payment which is substantially better than first anticipated.
I for one would like to the RNS reworded and rereleased as it is pretty obvious many people have misread the announcement.
It is beginning to look like our share price is being suppressed by the MM's after lasts weeks car crash fall. I'm pretty sure we will not be artificially held at these prices for long because the quality of our products and potential growth will shine through.
Today's welcome announcement was just the first in what I expect to be many more in the ensuing months ahead.
Our patience will be rewarded.....and if you have been a shareholder for more than a few weeks......you should already be smiling. :o)
GLA..... and thank you @GB for providing the clarity on the RNS.
