thanks LL its good to know and appreciated you informing us . its also reassuring that there are very few sells that dent the overall positive patient and patience sentiments
however Scancell please get on with it , to "benefit to share holders "
LL, thanks for letting us know about your sells, it is good to know it was a 'friendly' sell and that there is no more to come. Good luck with the investment and hope you enjoy the weekend.
Sad to hear of your decision LL, but I understand your reasoning behind it and hope to see you back here sometime in the future!
LL, I get it, I think…, I guess it’s what you think is the best option!… I am of the opinion “strong buy” but feel a little irrational with this share, I am not sticking to my policy of “sell on a double”which I currently am, having invested in 2019 but have had some doubts on the slow progress of SCLP.
I admire your courage although never liked your editorialising on sunsets, sunrises and dog walks……;-D
In my view, if you can get back in b4 Q2 2023 it might be advantageous still.
Mia, thanks - I hope so too.
Good luck with your new investment LL, hopefully you will be back here before the big rise that we are all waiting for.
Ok all, those trades were mine.
I've tried for a few weeks to figure out how to execute this to raise the funds I need at this time without setting the share price at odds. I'm glad I didn't sink it to 10 or below. This is not a stop loss or investment in other stocks, but a different kind of off market investment (and no, it is not cyrpto either).
To say I'm gutted that the share price was not at least 4 x higher at this point is an understatement. Unfortunately I could not hold out for news - not until 2pm today or Monday, Tuesday, or any of the days which follow. I laugh as I remember being the outlier for news at 16 May being the very last date we expected share price affecting news and here we are at 19 August. . . as it is, I've had to divest of 4 times as many as I had planned, and that is down to me investing heavily in Scancell.
It s not a criticism of the Scientists at Scancell or the great work they are doing. Really wish they would hire someone to educate the market and keep in touch with the health journos so that when there is news, those who can remain in the market will break even / extend their gains - I've said this for several years, so this is not a new desire.
I am glad that the price didn't sink the way that serial sellers seem to make it make it sink on very low volume. Hopefully I caught out most of the day traders when they were fully invested, but at least I didn't trigger a set of stop losses the way some markets are manipulated.
As always, what ever your reasons for investing, divesting, it's always the right decision at the time.
Having recently contracted Covid for the 1st time, I'm ever so keen for a REAL solution for it. I've got the lingering after effect of the Covid cough - Doctor says he's not worried unless my air flow drops or I develop night sweats.
When / if I receive extra funds, I'll be looking at how best to invest them again, and Scancell is certainly on the list.
I wish everyone here, and everyone scanning the board for titbits, al the best, whatever you get up to this weekend. And now I'm off to walk the dog between showers.
ATB, LL
Yeah Moonparty, perhaps, just wanted to put a few thoughts out there at the end of an interesting week.
Enough deep theories for one week for me, I still intend to hold for as long as I can and still 50p with my 180k will make me a very happy young man. As has been the case for 3 weeks now I am still over the moon with my all clear after 10 years, I know I have a compromised lifespan,, but £180k will give me £360 a week more over ten years and I think thatis a realistic target.
Onwards, forwards to next week, sentiment here can change on a sixpence and many thanks to so many for making this an interesting BB to read, we certainly have the posters to learn loads from and I thank you for your posts.
Have a good weekend guys, heres to next week
Not so sure if it was a sell - there was a large 715K delayed sell from 11.58, other large trades may actually be buys?
Anyways, we will probably never know the truth.
C7, current funds will cover all current trials, and I think it has been stated or at least intimated that deals are expected to be done, so hopefully, no further fund raises? Also, ' falling value attached to Covidity' - I agree the hot covid money has moved on to pastures new (and that accounts for some of the sp fall this year), but I don't think the value is falling currently - an update is due anytime, and the value of a universal covid vaccine (if it works) is immense.
And there was a delayed 258k sell at 12.3733 from 11.45
Whilst we await to see an accelleration in patients recruitment and dosing it is worth noting we are digging further into funds budgeted for trials, along with a falling value attached to Covidity.
On a positive note our strategy to enrol 125 patients reassures me we have considered our next round of funding whenever needed. I am fully expecting Redmile and Vulpes to take responsibility for that whilst Lindy is left to concentrate on trials and for the moment relieves any pressure in appointing a new CEO when we have a clear strategy going forward.
