Mostan, welcome to the BB, I have enjoyed your posts and hope to be reading many more in the future

Morning Chester.
Thanks for those few kind words. I've always been taught it costs nothing to be polite and respect other peoples views.
Like many I have lost family and friends to cancer. Hopefully my investment in Scancell, particularly partaking part in the open offers will help Scancell towards curing cancer.
I have picked up scancell shares over the las t 8 years or so.
I'm nearly 75 and full time carer for my wife who has late stage COPD and small vein vascular disease hence stuck at home reading BB's.
Whether i sell me shares at 20p or £8 can't and won't change my life but hopefully I can help my grand children and great grand children get a start in life.
People choose different paths through life and different strategies to make money . It costs nothing to be polite and respect other peoples views and I have to say the vast majority on here do that.
Regards Mostan
Hi Mostan
Only a very nice person would still have the decency to say 'take care' at the end of that post. So you are very highly regarded by myself.
Odd isn't it that a relatively new SCLP poster can be so arrogant and so rude.
Perhaps he is a genius trader making £millions each year or perhaps he's not. I think we can work that out for ourselves.
Main point is that your investment in Scancell is hopefully just about to fulfill the long held promise.
Very exciting next 6 -12 months.
All the very best
Chester.
Sorry folks to have to come back on to this thread but do feel I have to reply to hasiba's post of 11.12 today addressed to me.
Hasiba i find your post very aggressive insulting and totally unwarranted. I said I rarely post on this board but read to try and learn a little about Scancell science ( i do held several hundred thousand shares in Scancell ) You say in 8 years I have contributed nothing to this board but why go on with the personal insults. Abusive posts like yours will stop a lot of newcomers from posting. As I say I come on here to learn perhaps you should learn to be less aggressive and stop insulting people maybe then people will give you a little more respect including me.
No doubt you will seek to hit back but this is my final say on the matter so don't look for any response from me because it may well be another 8 years before I post again.
As one would say ' take care '.
Yeah if you have to go you at least hang on to get that onto your CV and then buzz off... again we just don't know the circumstances whether personal or professional ....
What we do know is scancell has never been busier and everyone of the team will have had a great workload..... that may have caused some issues
Noticed a couple of posts yesterday saying the poster felt a deal on Covidity must now be ready to be struck.
However much I want that to be true It is somewhat unlikely that Cliff Holloway should as CEO preside over a Commercial Deal, only to lose his position right after securing it
Hasiba,
Thanks for reasonable response.
Yep agree that it is very hard for small bio pharma to advance the drug development of any assets on its own without “ commercial partners” to Approval but it was purely the point about them being able to advance their assets through the trial process that I wanted to evidence.
Anyway we both know our positions and look forward to another good run next week.
Chester yep the staff number may be higher than 22 and SCLP has recruited a lot of staff which bodes well for entering the next stage in its development.
Personally doubt they will take it into p3 on their own due not only to the high cost but I expect any validation of either SCIB 1 Combo and/ or Modi or Covidity p1 I expect a commercial deal or deals to move us forward
Hasiba,
"I have added Bermudashort to my greens list now as I have no more time for him .and to stop clogging the bb for others "
Probably the most hilarious post I've read in nine years!
What you mean by "clogging " is posting factually, well balanced and politely rather than rampy rampy ramp ramp.
You are also taking the cowards way out using the filter button rather than debating as you know you don't have the knowledge and experience to take on Bermudas of the board.
Ivy…
You aren’t in my green box and have no intention to do that as in fact I read your posts and respect them.
With regards to the other bio I was investing in and so is you I believe has gone bust due to the BoD decided to do the trials alone with no partnership and running out of money at the last hurdle . This is another example of a small Pharma couldn’t go it alone. Hence partnerships here are essential to progress and passing all hurdles…I am investing here significant sum and wanted to see it flourishing and succeed but not getting over excited of announcing phase 1 trial starting date…it is only a step in the right direction and long to go to achieve its aims with many hurdles on the way.
Science is one step but progressing it to success requires many other resources to get involved .
Let’s not forget sclp before Covidity was not a successful company from the investors point of views seeing the SP decline from over 70p to a few pennies during its journey, you can imagine how many bought high and still waiting to breakeven…
GL
Afternoon Ivyspivey
With all the new jobs created since the Redmile millions arrived I would expect the full employee list to be much higher than 22.
I think crumbs or may have been C7 said a while back that we had 15 / 16 PHD's on the books.
Scancell is gearing up to run three trials and I would expect that when Ph1 data starts to emerge we will have all three trials progressing with a partener for each.
The reason being that each platform will need a good sized Ph2 and possibly large Ph3's.
Chester.
Morning Hasiba,
You may have me filtered already so be it but as others have said you do seem pretty aggressive and fine to disagree with any poster.
However when you personally attack a very respected and balanced poster like Bermuda who only seeks to respond when directly asked to comment/ when a post is directly aimed at him/ or to post information in a very neutral way then expect to be challenged and everyone can make their own view.
Particularly on this occasion when it seems clear to me that your insistence that SCLP cannot run a p1 trial and that your talk of “ partnerships” was clearly aimed at commercial partnerships so that a third party would finance/ help with the trials is simply not true.
The “ partnership “ evidence you highlight in the RNS is clearly an academic type arrangement to develop the delivery mechanism etc and not a commercial deal involving any monetisation.
Plus a previous bio you were invested in managed to run two p3 trials with less than 6 employees so I hardly think that SCLP with 22 employees abd have a proven track record of conducting p1/2trials previously with a much smaller team
So if you manage to read this fine if I am not already on the green list or please just put me on it as at least I will be in good Company
lol it's like the recycling bins :)
If that is hasiba that has just replied it's to late your in a green box...
Chester.
Chelsea18…
Have I ever trolled you or your postings?
Have I ever been aggressive in my postings to you?
Of course not …so the conclusion is that both now apply to you!
You are probably another hater of anyone makes quick financial gains ? While you are waiting to breakeven..
It feels sadly like many here lost since sp was over 70p basing their investments on science and ignorant to more important issues…sad and can’t make money or change mindsets but getting stressed attack winners in the game…
Science without outside helps/financial backers and collaborations =0 progress and not investable…
Hasbia
You are a very aggressive poster with a very over blown ego.
Do you not realise that you are the Troll.
Chester.
Mostan…
What respect you are talking about?
I take it you have contributed 0 to this bb in the last 8 years…lol
Stay hidden under the rocks is a good place for you!
What a joker..
I have been reading this BB for some 8 years but rarely post and prefer to learn from the likes of Bermuda/ crumbs etc. They have no ego and I think Hasiba you should have a bit more respect for their knowledge. When you are as knowledgeable of the science of Scancell as Bermuda I will read your posts.
Nice to see you posting again Chelsea7.
Morning Chelsea11..
I can see your post and other two but the rest are green lines! I select a few posters to read on the bb .
I have added Bermudashort to my greens list now as I have no more time for him .and to stop clogging the bb for others reading repeated personal clashes..that we already witness every day ...I for one don’t like it.
One of my investment strategy is to ignore the trolls on any bb including here…
Have a good weekend..
Berm, is also an excellent and recognised by scancell -no less! tweeter which benefits us all.... I'm sure he would not want praise for that as he is also an investor like us -mostly- all :).... but it is surely appreciated
That's the Saturday loving done back to the fun lol
Good to see you posting C7 and hopefully scancells path is now a clear one at least as far as Covidity goes.....we have had enough bumps in the journey
Excellent post crumbs, I am sure Redmile know what they want, and I believe Lindy in the chair is just the start. An exciting week all the same, lets hope more news is very near, and keep that SP clicking.
Have a good day all and BermudA thank you for 10 years Of superb research and posting. ATVB
The berm is a great bb asset and is very knowledgeable about the in's and out's of biotech....running a small ph1/2 is something scancell have already done and done excellently we all know including scancell themselves going beyond that takes a partner with clout.... the ph1/2 is more about proving up the scientific concept of the product....
Covidity we all know is not being just trialled by team scancell science we have the Notts uni's team member 'collaborators' and now also Cape lung uni ones too all who are vital for this biggest scancell tech trial ever both in numbers of patients to be dosed and potential impact ... also Cobra are involved as far as manufacture goes it is a huge collaboration effort but we know to get beyond the ph1/2 we need either and or CEPI/industry backing ....
Hasiba - a difference in opinion is always likely to happen in a forum like this and it can often be helpful to read for balance. Just one thing though, Bermuda has never “dominated” the BB, or even attempted to, during the 12 months I’ve been here.
Bermudashort…if you keep on thinking sclp with 22 employee and limited financial and resources can do drugs trials without collaborations …you are not real and my advice to avoid throwing your money about waiting for years to recover losses as you will need help to change your mindset beforehand..
Its an absolute nonsense to think sclp can manage trials towards fda approval and productivity..without collaborations..!
I repeat again sclp has not enough resources to complete trials without collaborations / partners..
Keep this in your mind for reference….this company with 22 employees and will need huge resources behind it that it doesn’t have at present to finish trials…
That is my final posting with you tonight as we have a very different views on investment approaches and understanding but you seem to try dominating the bb as you managed before our arrival…it is a NO from me.
GN
hasiba,
There's nothing to disagree about. The facts are all there and sometimes it's best to just stop digging.
By the way, I have no problem whatsoever with you trading Scancell - good luck to you but credit posters here with at least a little intelligence.
Bermudashort…no we agree to disagree ( academic means part of resources and declared by the sclp as collaborations and FYI I will always trade aim shares when I see fit as I did here very successfully!…
GL and let’s move on…
