A friend of mine has held for 22 years here and he is massively down, it's not always the best approach, just set a price you are happy with and make a profit, it might take 1 month, 3 months 6 months 2 years, 5 years, but just take your profit when you can. DO what you are happy with.....I can honestly say I want money now, I don't like waiting for years, the longest I held was Greggs but I knew it would keep growing and paying me off.....AMl was a 2 week hold for 80%, ECR minerals was a 2 month hold for a 200% return. Here I got a 5 week hold for 20% but I'm not done yet. There is no right and wrong way of investing!
I feel your pain! I've had years of the same
Thanks for info. I'm back in at 117, wondering whether to increase, or wait to see if it reaches 112
Totally agree Billson i sold out this morning after finally being in profit. Was sick of sitting in the red for weeks on end.
Although nice to have dry powder you do panick about missing out and im already desperate to get back in.
Any pull back and il re enter.
You cant win, panick when in the red for so long and then worry about not being involved.
Stressful game these shares
Also very good support upto £1.20 on lvl 2, plenty of buys lined up so could see a climb to £1.20 also at some point today.
I think you will get £1.26 easily if you hold. Buy and sell depth on lvl 2 are pretty even at the moment, so a drop could come later. sells at 607 buys at 569, 40mil volume for today 17m of which was in the first half hour. I don't think I'll see a buy back in price, which is ok I've made my profit and then some, I can live with that. I will track the share up until results and then decide whether to reinvest on any unexpected drops.

That made me laugh ..... perhaps many of us think we do lol....
I’ve held my nerve and now clawing back some of my losses. Probably need to hit around 126 to break even. And that pays for my other investment in Argo then as well.
Give me 20 years and I might know what I’m doing?
Algarve a lot higher than we are now but if I knew that I would be as rich as Warren Buffett ,I don’t do financial predictions for price only to say that it will definitely be a lot higher in 2/3 years
ARSENAL17 I totally agree with you try putting the right word for these people Punters NO Gamblers YES and the hedge funds
Arsenal as the unofficial boss of this message board where do you see in the price in 2-3 years?(when we might be getting close to previous flying hours levels)
The amount of shares which I have would make a tidy profit at 1.58 - retirement is closing in and I'm ready. As some posters have previously mentioned - you pay your money and you take the chance / CHOICE - this may be long term for some but for me, no mortgage, two pubs, not open a the mo, and some holiday cottages, not open at the mo - time to let go of the reins and enjoy. Not advice i am long on this so no deramping from me. but 112 will be hit. the gap from close yesterday and open this morning needs to fill, whether it is just a wick. then we will bounce and go higher. Just info for though on anyone getting in
I quite like it....I might change the ID to that
Hello Arsenal.....totally agree....its the Face Book Generation.....need instant everything.......they have no idea what investing is but it just helps us clean up
Sorry typo error Bline I meant
Blind exact my friend that is what longer term investors do but I’m afraid there are too many gamblers on here at present can’t see further than a week or two !
Guys....how about waiting 2 or 3 years and get a £5...rather than 2 or 3 days for 50p mark up ?
Well done Casa glad you are still here what was your latest buy in price ? , just hang in there and as I say you will be surprised good luck
hi arsenal - i am hanging on on here for the longer term - shares have been bobbing along for a few weeks between 90 and 100 ish so nice to see a positive rise to 117 but no idea whats driving it up
Here we go again all this talk about short term gambling it’s like day trading , try and be a bit more pos and think longer term you might make a lot more profit then and start thinking of the bigger picture instead of what is the best price to buy n .This forum has certainly got some naive punters on here from a few years ago hence why they are called punters and not Investors ,go on try and think longer term and you will be surprised ?
I have a few RRS shares and have a limit order for £1.58 - then holiday time - GLA
