Maybe not
It goes from bad to worse here £2 coming imo
Dont you just love the vaccine is coming brigade... no such news at all
Warren East. The drop was due to Covid and predominately the impact to Aerospace.
Who specifically is forecasting lower revenues for the next 7 years? And is that lower revenue for the whole of the business or just civil aerospace?
No such thing, watch a vaccine announcement and see how this shoots up. Stock movement is based on sentiments and perception, do you think people will be locked in all year and won't want to fly out in december for xmas? Not to talk about defence, cargo flights etc.
They’re forecasting lower revenues for the next 7 years so I cannot see a miraculous rise to previous highs anytime soon.
Based on the lower flying hours and wide body engine sales they’re expecting a loss in revenue of circa 4b. I’m not sure what the cost savings will be attributable to that but it won’t be near 4b.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a significant loss in H1 (over 1b) and an equity raise. Maybe they can avoid a dilutive raise for the time being with sales and disposals.
There’s just too many unknowns and risks in the short to medium term for me, so I’m gonna sit it out and wait.
We are so busy in subs , taking many more people on. More defence contracts looming SRM in pipeline. Rolls Royce will diversify to the markets. Anything under £3.50 is cheap don’t expect £6 for a couple of years but this is well under rated. Any news on vaccine and this will jus of another 50p to £1 by end of the year.
Casa put simply you are a moron. Very very boring your post regarding a 100p valuation, judging by your maths on the redundancy pay I would assume your math on the 100p valuation is some way off.....hold on wait there is no math behind your valuation just pure bull ****.
Casa. Your 270 million figure you can cut in half at least, the average at RR is 2 weeks per year of service and company as we speak is negotiating even less as we speak. Also flight revenue roughly 60% down and aerospace division is 51% or 52% of total revenue with defence and power systems doing OK so company does still have revenue coming in !
You do realise that redundancy pay in the USA is not a legal requirement? Even if you got your wires crossed with UK law, it is 1 weeks pay per year, not 1 months pay. This is also capped at 20 weeks.
Your scaremongering is tiresome
If u say so - there production at UMW has been static for 3 months - that’s where there Trent 1000 fan cases are build is - so lack of flights - USA on the verge of closing - they are out of control - no new orders - yes they will lay off 9000 people most who have been there for donkeys years - average severance pay 1 month per year work let’s say average salary 30000 per annum x 9000 = 270 million just to get rid of those staff !!!
Little revenue in and lots going out - just a view
you get excited every time it goes down, and then dish out the same comments.
You are getting all excited from a little rise in the price for 1 day - the shares are being shorted people don’t want to buy at these levels as they know there will be a placing - or think there will be one - either way only someone with inside information would buy these at these levels who knew 100% that there is no fund raising - do any of us know that for sure - so let’s see what happens
"Where are all the people now who told me I am talking rubbish - gone very quiet from these people !"
CASA WHERE ARE YOU NOW.
The right price to buy —-
Where are all the people now who told me I am talking rubbish - gone very quiet from these people !
Very sad to see RR wither away however it’s not time to buy yet
