On the other hand fruit we have had a nice rise considering all the threats etc. Also today's SP is only around the point you sold last week.
Hi DerekR, thanks for the information regarding the £50m fine.
This company is crying out for someone of the calibre of Kate Swann. Dodgy Rico, an internal hatchet man, hasn't got the skills required.
Fruit. I rather get the impression that the CWU are looking for any sign of weakness in Rico. We saw enough of that with Moya and look where it got her. I support Rico's approach so we differ in opinion. It's not the first time and I'm sure won't be the last.
Seems so far the market aren't considering the current situation a disaster as some here are.
Fruit. Complicit is not an argument I would make.
The current board quite simply inherited a poisoned chalice from Moya in many respects and are doing their best with what they have.
Oil, apologies mate I didn’t read back the posts to see that post you made ( to be fair there are quite a few to scroll through lol) . Sorry I missed it .

AB, my understanding was that the Whistl action was against RM from late 2014 when they complained that RM were "over competitive" and they had to shelve plans to create their own delivery force in London.
I may be wrong thought?
Rico became ceo in June 18. Which makes me believe the incident leading to the £50m fine occurred with the previous board , Moya etc which doesn’t really make it Rico’s doing ( to clarify mads post about sacking the current board ) it wasn’t Rico’s doing . ( as far as I know )
AB
As I stated yesterday, it looks like Moya has left Rico with a £50m tab to pick up...lol.
I wonder if Rico has a Moya Greene voodoo doll?
Red,
Just to clarify , are you meaning the incident happened in 2014 ? It happened last year 2018as far as I am aware . Not back in 2014.
I may have mis read your post . Apologies if I have .
AB
The 2019 BOD did not make the decision to which the fine relates. The 2014 BOD were acting to protect RMG from the first competitor in wholesale mail delivery.
Where does the loyalty lie with some posters here. RMG or its detractors? Continue to bite the hand that feeds you and you will be left with a stump.
Just to add to last nights comments from me. We haven't heard the end of this Whistl malarkey, they are now coming after Royal Mail for costs. Sack the Board useless at best this incompetence simply cannot continue
Johnson was "reprimanded" for his activities in the HOC and "ignoring the fact the courts are a recourse for the sovereignty"(not government), action was taken. This while ignoring the bias from the house speaker and all other events impeding progress when the Remain alliance interfered with the same process.
@ Normal.
Explain that to idiots like wolvesposty.
For the life of me I cannot understand his wisdom. And if the PLC world has anything to do with it, the local postie will be gone forever.

I agree, it is a capitalist world, and we play a part if we trade in the share market. I am looking at the bigger picture because, as you say, it will affect posties lives in a negative way. But this will have a knock on effect for all employment markets because RMG is more than an employer, it is an institution in the eyes of the public, revered by most.....hated by others. Let's hope it stays as a valued asset....though hard to see from both sides of the fence.
@ Normal.
Not only will all out terms and conditions be eroded, the service we provide to the public will be gone.
It's already happening. I see it every single day.
RMG do not care about the pubic.
It's all about money for the greedy bloodsucking leeches, aka shareholders.

We have already been taught Re: Gina Millar/Brexit, that the courts are not impartial. If RM becomes a GIG economy enterprise, I reckon this is the next era after wage compression and mass immigration. Simpy put, the sweatshop of Europe for the majority of employment.
@ wolvesposty.
I see you've taken to refraining from abusing people from behind your keyboard. Glad that you've learnt some manners sonny.
Just for clarity, because I think you are finding this hard to understand.
If RMG start chipping away at my t's & c's, they are clearly chipping away at yours.
What part of this don't you understand?
And it's not just you. You claim to be able to retire. Most of your colleagues can't. Most of your colleagues will be in the job for years to come.
Does that not strike a chord with you? Or is it a case of i'm alright Jack?
You have colleagues whose livelihood could be eroded, and you don't care?
A despicable greedy human being.
For what it's worth. I have it on good authority that the courts have found in favour of RMG.
If you lot think that's a good thing, I have a feeling that you are deluding yourself. Read Fruitsters earlier post.

Spot on wolvesy, and to ensure that low wage drive works, you need an over supply to the workforce. Imagine the wage of a baker for example: 100 bakeries but 99 bakers.
Night Wolvesy, take care mate.
tigger waited too long for you to insult me again.. got better things to do than wait for you to unscramble that little mind of yours so its goodnight from me and good evening to you... work that out and see ya soon my little animal
I did say goodnight but not one to back away from insults. tigger
sorry my little sugar puff.. who rattled your cage?
Why does Wolvesy want to be best friends with Red and Fruitcake. And why do you have to lick a** mate? particularly red the pensioners. ugh gross. Sweaty from sitting in that chair from 8 - 4:30 all day. Tragic Stuff tbh.
mad..... fruit...….. joking... have a good one
