Broch, the trials were well publicised on RMTV , in The courier and management briefings. They even mentioned when 50 , 100 etc offices had gone through the revisions. All in conjunction with the union . Walks have been made longer, and parcel only deliveries reintroduced to include clearing up Lats . Full resigns have taken place in all of the offices. Managers have briefed it again this week. If you dont believe me, speak to your manager, he will tell you all about it. Those revisions have stopped in larger offices and strong unionised offices but are carrying on in smaller rural ones , and implemented as long as staff are happy.
Dynamo, which offices??? and what trials?? None would have any union involvement or sign off
Broch they were full revisions , planners brought in, walks cut and full re signs using PDA actuals . The PDA s were only fully turned on in the last year when the new data was downloaded, so how can you have been doing it for 3 years. The 1st trial office only started 10 months ago. The trials can be signed off in an office if nobody objects to the revised workload.
Dynamo, the indoor planning of work aren’t revisions. They are using the traffic figures from the RTW to plan ips, and prep. This isn’t new, we’ve been doing it for nearly 3 years now. Sheet put up every morning to tell you what you are expected to do and the time it should take
(although that’s just a guide) .
Revisions in offices without a rep aren’t revisions as they still need to be signed off by the ADR. No ADR is going to do that until talks have been finalised.
Totally agree. I always got loads of flack for posting my views regarding the obvious manipulation of this stock. Nothing changes, money talks.
Now as history has a habit of repeating itself, those that have a vested interest in a rock bottom SP should raise themselves from their slumbers.
Oli - I agree, I think RMG has been subject to huge amounts of manipulation from day one.
Firstly the classic pump n' dump taking it to over 600p, then the shorters took over and have used their dark arts to drive it down to well below a realistic value.
The fluctuations in this SP have often made little sense, even when trading results are well in line with expectations it's usually resulted in a drop in the SP.
I would have made a small fortune on my holding if I'd constantly traded in and out on all the 'random' price fluctuations, this SP has seen more ups and downs than the proverbial...
Crustal I think your missing the point mate other operators like DHL ,DPD have better modern tracking systems and operate a 7 day week so offer a better service even Hermes have an updated tracking system and are 7 days a week ,it’s about moving with the competitors to compete !
Over 200 revisions already done Broch, using PDA actuals . Once the trial revisions were finished, they were rolled out straight away. Managers are given traffic figures and then allocate, indoor workers to whichever area they are needed. This occurs from the minute they walk in the building and sign on the pda. They have only stopped rolling it out in unionised offices in the last 2 weeks. Smaller offices with no reps and little union membership are still going ahead.
Dynamo, the RM share price has been an enigma for the last 2 years. It seems to rise and fall at random. Good news regarding industrial relations is, in my opinion more likely to make the share price drop if anything. If I were being cynical, I would say that this is being manipulated by some very clever (and rich) people.
Dump:- “With automation already going in and a number of office revisions already completed , plus industrial agreement close , I think it will touch £2-50. Many more positives than negatives at the moment.“
What revisions?? All revisions on hold due to on going negotiations! No rep is going to agree to anything until the CWU and RM put proposals on the table and the membership votes on it.
" this is one of the reasons Rmg have lost a big contract with Ted Baker because they simply don’t fulfil what they promise"
last time i checked, Ted Baker was mostly down the toilet and half way round the U-Bend having lost over 90% of their shareprice from this time last year, and even more if you go back a further 6 months on top of that, I looked at them again when they were approaching the £1 mark, and decided i'd not like to risk it and remember thinking they'll be another victim of this year before it's over, and i don't think they are out of the woods by any means, they probably changed contracts to the cheapest possible bid
Agreed, was thinking of selling a while back, now might be buying.

More "possibly" than probably. I opted for the exit because there is so much uncertainty.
carrington fair play to you... i think 220 last week was the peak for now..............
Just sold the remainder of my holding at 214p - probably a mistake but at the end of the day a profit is a profit - good luck to the rest of the long term holders on here
dyor etc
Absolutely true . Tracked at all costs .
I'm still not convinced Wolves is a genuine postie, he just comes across as another sad desperate shorter on a one man mission to talk the SP down.
Seriously wolves, go and get another job, you are embarrassing yourself.
Arsenal with above average sick and managers that will not challenge I am surprised you get it next week never mind next day
If it's a tracked 24 item it will be delivered the next day. Even if a whole walk doesn't get delivered the tracked will.
Sorry that should have said next day delivery
Jus a question for you posties on here ,why can’t Royal Mail deliver on time next delivery when DPD DHL are 100 % on the button especially as they have a fantastic tracking facility, inshoid have received a package toda but nothing has arrived this is one of the reasons Rmg have lost a big contract with Ted Baker because they simply don’t fulfil what they promise ?
