I was also invested in Great Bear Resources in the same area. I bought the shares at 19 dollars each . I had to make a hasty retreat without a loss because of the lack of willingness of the management to let the gold leave its safe position in the ground.
Hence the joke about sink holes to cover- up tax avoidance for billionaires.
The gold is a safe piggy bank under ground and must never see daylight.
Bung a grand in, whats the worst that happen :)
Dartron, with a more capable management I would agree with you.
That's fine CHEATED but you will be buying in at around £1.50. That's probably the point, I would sell out, having made a £1.00 gain per share. Risk vs Reward.
I would not think of reinvesting in here until they pour more than 100,000 ounces.
THey have yet to prove that they are a viable investment proposition.
I do wish them well.
In this case, Bardz, you are not following what is going on. This is the conclusion of Anglo being able to buy in at the recent placing, all of which has been announced. Todays RNS is just a formality, saying that it happened. (And in my opinion the green light for the good news and re rate).
Anglo have not increased their holding, they have participated in the placing to keep their holding at 14%. They put their money in after the other participants. The placing was in 2 parts, (although part 2 was a bit of a surprise for us PI's).
Interesting to note some different wording on the RNS to part 1:
Warrants are transferrable. Hmmmmmmmm.
Anglo must hold new shares for 4 months. (Wonder if they are making grumbling noises round the table with PUR)!
Does this impose a time limit on Darrin of 4 months to steady the ship?
Grab a bargain, what ever happens, this is worth a minimum of 65p. Anglo just said so with $3M.
Yep totally "non plus" interested in an RNS that simply underlines what has already been released.
Seems big news increased major holding now 14% Anglo Ashanti . Board seems non plussed though.
