Does any body know what the market cap was in 2011 when share price was 24p ?
Here is a similar concept to PHEs business model. ARM currently under offer for 75 billion.
Arm was based on a clever idea from the outset, but the real stroke of genius was its co-founders’ invention of a novel business model. The company would not manufacture chips, but merely design processors to exploit Risc architecture and license the designs to anyone who wanted to actually manufacture the chips while paying royalties to Arm for the use of its intellectual property. This was astute because chip manufacturing is a hugely capital-intensive business feasible only for big companies with very deep pockets and an appetite for risk. Now wouldn't that be something for PHE to get to.
Just a small point, but when PHE first floated they were around 13p rising to a peak of 24p in 2011. And that was without any form plant, FOAK or otherwise on line. Yet its the possibility of the concept that drove its price up. We now have far more than just a concept to drive this buggy on and upwards. Plastic pollution, creation of a circular fossil fuel industry without burning plastic or oil, coal and gas etc. Everything is on the right side for a money making machine. You wait until the oil industry starts to put its backing behind the concept to avoid the destruction of its oil and gas production plants.
Can't see this going over 15p until the FOAK is up an running. A new CEO should give us solid support above 6p though, a combination of good news could see us at 9 by the end of the year, but I think that's on the optimistic side.
Hi DR.A Why is every one getting so interested in the HUI IPO. Surely its better to wait and see what the institutions make of it and its then share price when traded. If your talking about it being in the sub 10p a share traded value. I wouldn't have thought that its a worthwhile punt for a possible 10% discount. Personally I will wait for any shares that will be on the open trading markets. Or better still keep adding to PHE shares as its growth in value will be aligned to the success of HUI gaining more sites across the European areas. And a very big thank you for the links to the HUL documents you posted earlier. They give a very informative explanation of the DMG processes.
was just googling Novus. Do you mean Novum ala John Belliss? Think I'll wait till they call me again as I'm in new territory here
Thanks, will look into it. Things are so much easier with Primary Bid :/
am just 2months investing so far using Halifax as broker. If I use John Belliss or Kevin Hornsby (Sunday Roast) to take up the HUI IPO offer, who do I send payment to for the shares? They said that I pay the Company or Registrar direct as Halifax apparently can't broker the deal. I then get a share certificate? How can I later trade the shares if I want to? Never traded on Aquis platform before. They are both due to email me nearer the launch date but just wanted a heads up.
I have a strong feeling power house is about to re rate to 20p. New pending happy Christmas all.
many thanks Dr A much appreciated
Dr A
Thanks for posting.
Page 11 of the brokers notes:
Column's 2 & 3 look as though there may be a little formula error compared with column 1.
Wolves
I had some IAM Fire shares on AQUIS, pain in the ar5e to trade and the whole marketplace seemed sluggish
Morning Dr A - what is the source of the IPO slide deck please and would you mind posting the link. Thank you
Exactly my feelings as well.
Does anyone get the impression that the cart is dragging the horse with this IPO thing.
I would have thought that it was up to the Company/Brokers to lay out a clearly defined business plan
together with projected income etc so that the punters (us) have a clear understanding of what they
are being asked to subscribe to and the chances of success.
Here we have a couple of broker fellows trying a hard sell by keeping everyone in the dark until the last
minute and then with a low number of shares up for grabs.
There are far to many unknowns attached to this venture, it may suit some here but with every day that passes
and every bit of bait that is dribbled into the public domain I am liking the whole thing less and less.
This is no way to run an IPO, and even IF we get shares can we then sell them through this Aquis lot?
