Morning Val, thank you.
I don't have that figure no, it's not something I have looked into.

Great post. Do you know how much funding Element2 has raised so far to build out 2000 outlets?
Sorry Senstalker .I was forgetting the deal with element 2. 2000 hydrogen pumps by 2030 sounds good. I assume some will be near to Protos.
That was the game plan before Peel became involved. peel changed that and wanted the upgrade to 35 tonne/ 1-2 tonne hydrogen. I was initially glad about that and assumed Peel had big plans for hydrogen sales. They seem to be more of a hinderance than help to the FOAK roll out at the moment.
There is already demand for PEEL's hydrogen >> https://fuelcellsworks.com/news/peel-nre-signs-deal-to-supply-hydrogen-to-element-2-refuelling-stations-with-first-planned-at-protos/
And its important to remember that one huge benefit of DMG is that it gets around the "chicken and egg" scenario as is built at point of use and both supply and demand come together.
The SPV financial close isn't going to happen by end of this month, we all know it now or certainly think it so I would say it is very likely already priced in.
The mood music has changed around COP26 as well, with Boris signaling things will be difficult, is he just posturing so he can come out as a hero at the end after chairing a successful deal, who knows but with PHE, HUI, PEEL & Linde all sat round a table together talking about how the DMG can solve 3 of the worlds biggest climate problems in one lucrative modular solution, I only see this as having a net benefit to our SP afterwards.
I'm the same as Dr A though, I couldn't really care less what price does over next year or so, I am fully researched, confident in the technology, the business model, the demand and the financial footing of the company so I'm more than happy to keep accumulating below my average. It will come, Patience & Conviction.
Thanks for that Led Zep. I was on a flying visit to friends in the area so could not stop and it was raining. I used to bike all round the marshes many years ago.
alkin "Not sure we are ready for tons of hydrogen just yet..."
Thing is, they don't need to produce and sell hydrogen for this project to be viable because they can make a reasonable profit just producing and selling electricity. If they do that, as I believe many of the DMG installations will do, then they will save a good whack of Capex by not installing the PSA equipment required to produce hydrogen.
Operastar:
I think you past Plot 10B and headed for the main activity (Plot 8) and were met by the barrier and security adjacent to Plot 9B heading towards Plot 8. See Protos plan below:
https://www.protos.co.uk/site-availability/
Plot 10B can be viewed from the road on two sides and from a footpath on the third side.
You need two vital components for any site to become a reality, one is money to push things through and the other is you need demand for your product at the other end. Not sure we are ready for tons of hydrogen just yet...
Does anyone have a drone. That would tell the full story.
Hi Led Zep. Thanks for your up dates on Protos progress. How do you get to see all this? I tried to get to see the PHE site 10b but was halted at a barrier with dire warnings of instant eviction if I carried on (only PPE clad hairy men allowed) . I am not sure where I was as I was not following a sat nav. Not sure I was on the marsh lane. I could see lots of activity and diggers going but difficult to see where.
LedZep your area is on the latest Bigcatconversations podcast.
Thanks for the update LedZep, although it doesn't fill me with joy! Surely something must start moving soon.
Pleasant day here in north Cheshire, so had a walk down the marshes to view the latest on the Protos site.
Regarding Plot 10B itself, no change. Still a fenced off overgrown shrubland.
The work on the shared access road (to Plot 10B and Plot13) appears to have ground to a halt, with little change from 9-10 days ago i.e. compacted aggregate stage, waiting for kerbing and asphalt to be laid, I suspect. There is one excavator parked up adjacent to Plot 10B.
However, the access road adjacent to Plot 4 heading for Plot 8 has kerbing laid and waiting (I think) for final layer of asphalt.
Buildings now erected on Plot 8 (Covanta), and not talking garden sheds. These have taken approx 6 months from initial foundation piling to the construction of buildings superstructure, so Covanta are cracking on with it.
I'm not sure this is telling us anything new. I believe this is an overview of what has been achieved in 2020-21, not necessarily recent events. The preliminary site clearance for the PHE site was carried out in December last year.
Apologies it says prelimnary works commenced, not completed. But still... :)

Energy and resource infrastructure brought forward
Wouldn't get too hung up on dates Tim has set for SPV financial close, things are clearly moving
